Looks like my 2018 want list is about to start growing.

I'll be adding the Sanctum Sanctorum and new Milano to my list as well, along with both Hulkbuster sets,'68 Ford Mustang Fastback and Porsche 919 Hybrid.

The Mustang is going to need a major remodel when I build it though.  The grille is pushed way to far forward which throws the rest of its appearance off. Can't wait to see what the tail looks like.

    Just seen a picture of #76105 Hulkbuster..what a beast..and im not a big Ironman fan..must have it..

UCS Hulkbuster is on my list too, even though it doesn't look like it does in the film. There was an Ideas submission that did it much better IMO. But this has lightbricks, so...

The Brickheadz Go Brick Me set is now on my want list! It's such a great idea and it seems to have a good price-to-part ratio as well.

I wasn't really going to get into the 1:8 supercar models with the Porsche because I'm kind of meh about the brand and I haven't seen it on sale in the US really... but I don't think I can pass up on the Chiron, since I love Bugatti.  So I might have to add both of those to my list, if only so I can make sure I have all the sets if they continue to release new ones >.<

Jurassic Park Set. Jurassic Park Set. Jurassic Part Set. Some Fallen Kingdom, and anything after that is gravy. (Of course I'll be obligated to get more than one Creator Pirate Coaster come summer.) Resisting Harry Potter. Must. Be. Strong.

@MaffyD i managed to get them 2 polybags from Lego discovery Centre in Manchester, and looking at that price stickers on the pictures i suspect that is were all the polybags pictured are from.

All the City Arctic, most or all Star Wars, some Jurassic World... for starters. And we've only seen (or not seen, but read about) about half of what will be released this year! I have 4 of the 6 Avengers Infinity War sets- trying to control my completionism, because I'm not that into #76104 or #76108 ... but I want those stones!

Don't do it! Someone might have spares

Edit: just noticed you're in the US, so probably not much use.  You could just start a similar US based thread

But it might be fun, just for the absurdity of it, to mail a couple of tiny plastic pieces to someone in another part of the world!

I will be adding the green stone from #76108 to the aforementioned thread, but since it's a birthday present from my wife (so I don't officially own it yet) and I'm moving house in a few weeks, it won't be until sometime in April.

London bus, this one is top priority.

Anything architecture that has its roots in great Britain.

Slave1. I have been postponing this purchase though it might retire soon so I will have to keep a close eye on this one.

Maybe ship in a bottle,i will have to see it to pull me over.

That's about it. Skipping downtown diner even though I did buy all the other modulars since coming out of dark ages. I just don't like it and if the next building will be similar then my lego hobby will become a bit cheaper.

It's March & we'll already purchased 63 sets, but that means all the current Marvel & Elves sets (with the exception of the Marvel polybags) are done for now. Now I really need to sort out getting GBHQ & the Mountain Cave before they disappear.

The review of the new Go Brick Me Brickheadz set on the Bros Brick has put that one firmly in the must buy list. Even the sticker sheet is exciting with Blacktron and such on it.

On the other side of the coin, I've only got one 2018 set so far, and that's the 60 Years of the Brick promotional set. I guess I'll eventually get the Downtown Diner. Crossing my fingers for the Technic Bugatti to be really impressive and an insta-buy? Star Wars UCSes?

Well from my list I created back at the beginning of February, the following has happened:
    1. Tron set definitely on my list.
    2. Five out of six IW sets are not only on my list but I've got 4 of them and the fifth is on it's way. Still not sure about the Wakandan set.
    3. Two Speed Champions have been bought. So far there aren't any more I want.
    4. My son no longer wants the Talon Fighter, so I'm free to get that as it falls further in price.

Brickheadz, Wizarding World sets and Star Wars are all still up in the air.

Wow. No punctuation. Did you even breed while typing that?
I like to imagine you didn't while I read your sentence.
  • SumoLegoSumoLego New YorkMember Posts: 11,735
Personally I find it difficult to type while breeding but I guess there are always new areas to grow as a person.
I would suggest talk-typing while breeding.  Or maybe get a wireless, non-stick headset.  And don't hold your breath, either.  That's just not healthy.

Aaaaaaaaaand... I'm looking forward to buying a few Ninjago Docks.  Which will (maybe) get me to build an Imperial Flagship and a Destiny's Bounty.

I finally caved and Han Solo and Moloch speeders will be joining my City (they miss well enough as random vehicles) later on May. Hope the price is fair.

With new pics surfacing, basically all the Ninjago summer sets are calling my name (with the exception of Destiny's Wing and possibly the Oni Titan, which are easier than usual to rule out on account of their figures appearing elsewhere). And I haven't even gotten all the sets from the current Ninjago wave that I want yet!

The two summer Elves sets are also must-haves. And Unikitties…? WOW are there ever going to be some tough choices coming up this year! Fortunately, as much as I like the new City and Friends sets, there are none so far that I feel compelled to get — at least not for myself (my dad often likes getting City sets as Christmas presents).

If you are still on the fence about the Ferrari Ultimate Garage for whatever reason, the set is fantastic overall. Even the garage is an improvement from the Porsche garage set, as this one can actually fit minifigures when the garage is closed. The Porsche garage set could only fit minifigures when hinged out. The 250 GTO and 312 are excellent, and even the 488 is a decent attempt for what it is.

The $30 Porsche set is also great. The 930 is lovely, but do not overlook that 911 RSR, because it’s  a great build for the scale, and a huge improvement to a past Speed Champions build. I recommend the 919 for this reason as well. It just looks so much better.

Sorry if I’m gushing too much, but you can see the improvements through each wave.

Sooo... I went from thinking 2018 would be a cheap year to this - here is my "short" list of highest priority items, lol:

    -Roller Coaster
    -Pirate Roller Coaster
    -Hogwarts Great Hall
-(as yet unnamed D2C HP Castle)
    -Whomping Willow
    -Grindelwald's Escape
-(2 more unnamed small Wizarding World sets)
    -Ninjago City Docks
    -Ship in a Bottle
    -People Pack: Outdoor Adventures
-(possibly: Winter Village set, pending details)

and now I just read that there is going to be a new Passenger Train too...

I refuse to do the math on that... sorry, not going to be any room in the budget for those Elves sets my daughter wants... she's 12, about time for her to go into her dark age anyway, right? :-)

Yeah-it’s basically a question of if you want the new Skylor and a throne room or the Titan; having Temple of Resurrection or Killow vs. Samurai X you’re set for Garmadon and Samurai X.

    Downtown Diner - check, done

    Creator Expert Roller Coaster

SW D2C Playset - Cloud City

    Ninjago City Docks

    Harry Potter - D2C

Harry Potter - all the rest

    Fantastic Beasts - everything

And who knows what else is still to come. 2018 has turned into an expensive year again.

My list is similar to many people's:

    #10261 Roller Coaster
    #31084 Pirate Roller Coaster
    #70657 NINJAGO City Docks
    #75954 Hogwarts Great Hall
    D2C HP Castle - Possibly!
    #75953 Whomping Willow
    #21143 The Nether Portal
    #21145 The Skull Arena
    #21146 The Skeleton Arena
    #21147 The Bedrock Adventures
#21313 Ship in a Bottle - Not 100% sure about this one yet
    Winter Village set

I already have the rest of the 2018 Minecraft sets, #10260 Downtown Diner and a number of other, smaller sets, including #40290 60 Years of the LEGO Brick, but I'm going to have to limit smaller set purchases this year, so that I can get those big 'uns.

    -Indoraptor rampage
    -UCS Y-wing
    -Statue of liberty

I want Harry Potter sets, which ones depends on how the D2C looks
I will probably get some ninjago ones, waiting for better pics of the summer wave

UCS Y-Wing, UCS Cloud City, almost everything else Star Wars; all of the CITY Arctic; I'm guessing there'll be another wave of Avengers: Infinity War sets, so most or all of those; likely one or both of the trains; Ninjago Dieselnaut; Outdoor Adventures people pack; probably Pirates roller coaster... and it's only April!
  • CaptainLegoCaptainLego FloridaMember Posts: 383
That one Creator boat set is the one I’m eyeing the most, as it looks to be a pretty decent yacht looking build.

They are slated for June but you might see them early in the next few weeks in some USA stores. I will start looking for them here in the UK during the Spring Bank Holiday (28 May) since some stores here may stock their shelves early.

I hope so! I'm on vacation in two weeks, and I want to bring some new LEGO to build while camping. Last year I got #75178 Jakku Quadjumper on May 23rd (my birthday), and that was officially a June 1st release, so it's looking good for City Arctic!
