I have a sealed Cafe Corner in the closet, I was thinking of going to check to see what was in it, just to be sure it was complete.
That is good to know... Building GE right now, the numbered bags make it nicer. I don't presort bags, I just empty each bag into a Rubbermaid container and go to town. The larger unnumbered bag sets can be a pain. I'm looking at you 10179!!!!

TLG should include the number of bags that are in the box on the first page inside of the instructions... JMO
@Dad No problem. Have fun building. :)
If they leave it out, they are free to change packaging method at any time.

I purchased a 'new' Grand Emporium on eBay. The listing noted that the box was damaged. When it arrived I checked for number of bags. There were only 8 #3 bags. I would like to give the seller the benefit of a doubt. But 8 vs 11 bags is a huge disparity.
I do have eBay buyer protection. So things should work out ok. But I would rather have a complete set than have my money back and no set.
I´m counting:
10 #1
11 # 2
and one bag without numbering.
Just wanna make sure i got the complete set.
Hope this helps,
Brian
Amazon Retail has been sold out for a few weeks, if you bought from them and it was so damaged that a bag is missing, all they can offer you is a refund.
If it was a third party and FBA, Amazon will take it back and refund your money. If a third party, non-FBA, you'll have to fill out a return request on Amazon's web site, more of a pain, but the rules are they should take it back.
I agree! I would be happy to help populate the database as I buy sets.
:)
I think the database would be a good idea but could never be conclusive.
I have:
Bag#1 has 9 bags
Bag#2 has 7 bags
Bag#3 has 11 bags
1 bag with no #
If you know please confirm the bag counts...
Thanks...
Hope this helps,
Brian

I've got a chance to grab the Hagrids Hut set but the person offering it seems to think it's not all there. I don't suppose anyone can give me a quick runthrough of what's in the box - how many bags, stickers, and if there are any loose parts that LEGO somnetimes put in as well as bags ?
Massive thanks for any help you can give!
I found a good site with thumbnails of instruction pages that I could scan through quickly... Might be worth looking at if anyone doesn't know about it already
