Hello Bricksetters,

We are excited to announce that we are again running our Brickset member discount for a series 18 pre-order as follows:

    ^Do you have any options (besides buying a box obviously) for obtaining the exclusive police figure? I will be putting in my pre-order request next weekend once I get paid again.

    @MinifiguresPlus  Will a new sealed case include the Police Officer or are you fishing them out?

    We will not open any sealed cases! Nothing will be tampered with, and the Police officer should be there in every case.

     The police officer has already sold on a pre-order basis on Ebay for $50.

    We are taking orders while supplies last. As for the police officer, we do not have a pre-order price as of now, so the complete sets are without the police officer.

    So does the box have 60 or 61 minifigs in it?

    I guess it is 60. And three full sets of 16 cmf, 1 police man and then 11 other duplicates?

    Hello all, 

    Due to high demand, we are increasing the price of the pre-order for all new orders after this post:

    Box: $221
    Set: $73

    If you have already DM'd, you will get the original price. We will try to get more supply to meet the demand, but this price will likely not go down again.

    @Ericchevy @Toyfan5303 ~ guys. You might be better off sending a direct message as the seller requested. I've ordered several times that way and have had zero problems. They might miss it here.

    @Divinity3d just click on his username and towards the top right hand side of the screen will be a button that says "Message".  As far as reputable I think a good chuck of folks on this site, myself included, would vouch for @MinifiguresPlus

    I've ordered from Minifiguresplus in the past with no problems. Only reason I didn't order from him this time is the set didn't have the police Minifigure. If I have to go out and try to find him, I might as well not have any of the Minifigures so I can get something out of my time.

    Thanks for your help, and we have received the message. By the way, we ended up offering both the policeman and the set of 16 on here, so now we are able to invoice for both and make it the whole 17 figures.    Check posts above on March 8 and 20 for pricing.

    @teal93mr2 I just got a shipping notification from @MinifiguresPlus so I would expect you should be getting one soon.  This came maybe 10 minutes ago.

    Mine arrived at the Post Office yesterday. Had to pick it up because I had to pay £13.20, made up from £5.20 VAT plus £8.00 Royal Mail Customs Handling Fee. Just because the sellers put down $35 as value instead of the real $3.99. Altogether, I paid about £43 or $60 for the little man. Not really amused :-(

    No offense, but what did you pay for him? 35 USD? Then that is the value of the figure. Fairly certain that misrepresenting items in the US on customs forms is a big time no no.

    You're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.  It's a $3.99 figure... from a certain point of view.

    I would agree here, my custom forms are filled out with the amount I am paid by the buyer when I sell overseas.  Sometimes it will be cheaper than RRP, some times it is more expensive.  Either way it's not worth it to tell white lies on custom forms.

    That sounds spot on as $35 = £26 and 20% VAT on a £26 purchase is £5.20, then there is the RM fee of £8 to process the VAT.

    And it is right that the purchase price needs to be written on the customs form and not the seller's buy-in price. The value for VAT is calculated on what you pay, not what the person you are buying it from paid.
