10 cents is a pretty epic price for all the parts in the creator game, so you did well there :)
Heck no! He said he wanted them out of his garage; I helped him out, right? :)
Geoffrey looks to be complete & the incomplete car was a little bonus in the box as well.
Can't grumble at 50p eh.....
So yesterday I stopped back in, and was amazed to find the set was still there, in the section where they keep the jewelry and other "supervised" items. The price tag had gone missing, so they scurried off to the back room and came back with a price of $24.99. Onward to the checkout!
Turns out all bags were sealed, only the box was mangled a bit. Had a lot of fun putting it together last night. Stickers will be applied today, eyes were too far gone last night to finish up.
:o US, by any chance? Or was it like a one-off type ad?
Yeah, I realized after I posted. My sister is looking for a PR and would have been very very excited, so I was in a rush hoping it was a wider deal I could take advantage of ;_;
i hope this post belongs here
Found this in a backwoods Walmart in Missouri. I'd had good luck at this same store, but nothing like this. Picked it up for $13.
My 6 year old was lucky enough to get this little guy at checkout on Sunday at Lego Live NYC. Had a really great time. Our first limited edition minigif. Not opening this guy.
Coincidentally, for those of you who are still keeping track despite the fact it's meaningless since @y2kjosh hasn't been on the forums since being disgraced by this bet... that's still much higher than the still $7 Hoth Han polybag.
Also found #6076 Dark Dragon's Den (from 1993) complete with box, that appeared to have been built once and stored away.
I already cleaned out the Wegmanses in my neighborhood.
At that price I don't need to identify the figures first to buy only the higher value ones.
CMFs started during my dark age, and I thought that much for one figure was a ripoff, now it seems like a steal.
