    There was nothing new in this programme. Well, technically, some of the commentators fluff was new, I suppose...

    I say Leggo "lay-go". I am from Michigan and lived in Michigan all my life. My niece is from Pennsylvania, a couple of summers ago was visiting in Michigan. She said to me that her mother (my sister) and her were going to visit Mackinac. I had a strange a look on my face when she said that and my sister jumped in an quickly said "Mackinaw" (How I have always said it and most Michiganders do). My point is even in different sections of the United States people pronounce words differently.

    There was, they took 5yrs off Technic's age by saying it came along in 1982! I quite enjoyed seeing the old adverts and the genesis of Legoland

    There was a program on LEGO (more specifically mostly about the Leicester store opening) on Telefacts/VTM in Belgium last week. I think I heard it was on RTL in The Netherlands the day before too.

    Not too much special stuff that we didn't already know, but I did spot @stlux queueing for the opening, @whateverist shopping in-store (and Sofie/Brick Chick "Oh my gosh"ing) ;)

    Lol - CDWM is the real opposite of deep and meaningful! My other half likes to watch it with our girls and they love it, but I can't see the appeal. It's not aimed at me though...

    I think it was in the first season of Space’s Deepest Secrets on the Science Channel that I saw a Lego Millennium Falcon (not UCS) in one episode and a Creator #31012 house being built in another. I still want that house, and seeing a cosmologist with a MF in his office definitely helped end my dark age.

    “Lay-go” is actually correct. If you listen to the way the Danes say it. It’s lay-go. It’s not lehggo like the Eggo waffles.

    Not that anyone was either watching or cares very much, but Through The Keyhole was on tonight (Sat) and one of the celebrities had a fully assembled Palace Cinema just sitting on the side of their kitchen counter. Unfortunately they didn't make much of a deal of it and it was more a cameo than anything!

    Yeap spotted it! I think it was on screen for a fraction of a second, but right at front of shot!

    ^ It was him that did the poking around, and David Frost that was in the studio. They used to get quite big (TV) stars on the panel, I remember Chris Tarrant and Kenneth Williams were often there, as was Willie Rushdon.

    I can still remember they did Kenny Everett's house one time, and Mike Read and Mike Reid on the same show. I don't think I've seen it since about 1990 though.

    More recently they've visited the homes of Gloria Hunniford and Bobby Davro while Eamon Holmes and Scarlett Moffatt have been the studio guests.

    Still no idea who's house had the Lego though. I did see that one.

    So I've not missed much! I have heard of three out of four of them, you can probably guess which three.

    Scarlett Moffatt? [From Gogglebox]. One episode I saw also had Rustie Lee and Bob Carolgees [with Spit the dog] appearing in the 'celebrity's' house.

    It's high quality TV for a Saturday night on ITV!

    There is a consumer advise show in Australia called The Checkout. last night they did a story on building a home and they used Lego as the prop.

    It was Ricky Lake's house. I wasn't watching American chat shows in the 90s so I had no idea.

    Married at first sight last night on ch4 featured a Lego loving police sergeant who surprisingly enough had a lot of police sets.

    On Outrageous Acts of Science tonight someone made a real compound bow out of Lego!

    "But, that's been done before!"

    No...this was an actual lethal weapon with real arrows. Great...now we're gonna have to regulate Lego under gun laws! :P

    #21030 US Capitol Building was in several scenes on "For the People", a fairly new courtroom drama series, being built by one of the main characters.

    ^^ The BBC does Cribs now? That's a bit of a format change.

    That cabinet was chock full of Lego, but I do find it somewhat disturbing that a lot of the sets on display are still boxed.

    On Suits last night, Mike mentioned that he'd like to get a LEGO X-Wing in a discussion with another character before the opening credits rolled. No actual bricks on screen.

    Would of been more amusing if Mike wanted a Lego Castle of some sort. For his princess to be girlfriend. 
    You know I can imagine Harry being a bit of an afol!!

    Hmm..  just watching the film Kill Switch starring Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast, Downton Abbey). Its a good film, if you can cope with the first person viewpoint. Dan's character has a nephew:

    The grey thing in the middle is a model of something integral to the plot. The things around it I think are Lego sets. Anyone up for identifying them? An Alien Conquest one at the front maybe? Looks like a Space Police 2 Galactic Mediator further back...

    The Exploriens Watch Tower, a few of the smaller Insectoids sets perhaps and the massive Alien Mothership from the UFO Subtheme right at the front. It's a pretty good Space collection which someone had to accrue for the film - wonder if it was a crew member's collection or wither they actually bought the sets.

    Post-Downton I prefer Dan's more off the wall roles - like David and er... David from The Guest and Legion (I think they were both called David).

    "I haven't and its really frustrating because LEGO was always my favourite....my best!"

    @Speedman29 - I wonder whether Lewis is aware that he exists as a minifigure, albeit only by the context of his car in #75883 Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team.

    In addition to @The_Rancor's list, there's also the space shuttle from #6339 Shuttle Launch Pad and what looks to be a Futuron #6850 Auxiliary Patroller (the small domed trans-blue and white vehicle), though it appears to be incomplete or modified.

    Probably a little late on this but for our amusement and to keep this thread going, the latest Episode of Ninja Warrior UK (aired 19/05/18) had a bloke right at the front and centre cheering on one of the elite competitors near the end of the semi final. Said man was wearing a classic blue Classic Space T-Shirt. The kind of thing that probably only a Lego fan would notice.

    Haha despite all the negativity and backlash, I actually like the show, and I think the hearts of the creators are in the right place. There are just one or two scenes where they might have gone a little overboard, and it ended up being off-putting rather than sparking conversation like they hoped.

    But in terms of licence, what would they do? Nothing in the show really stands out enough, unless you want a Lego model of Clay's Walkman and box of tapes.
