Then is a Bat-mobile something you hang over a baby's crib?
    If it's a Bat-Baby's mobile of Batmobiles, it'd be a Bat-Batmobile.

Are we done here?  Bat-Rangefinder, Standing by...

Not unless the movie has a baseball scene I’m unacquainted with.

The One the left, next to the shark repellent: TLBM CMF Series 1.
The On the right: #70923 Bat-Space Shuttle (Should it be "Space Bat-Shuttle"? I mean, the shuttle is bat-themed, not space itself).

Space is Bat-themed. After all, it is black. Or very very dark grey.

So it's redundant, and we should just call it a Space Shuttle...
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,275
Or just Bat Shuttle... except that could be an all black version of #6399 Airport Shuttle. Because, you know, Bruce Wayne is super rich and high tech; he wouldn't take a limo to the airport, he'd have his own private monorail!

I meant 'Bat-Batmobile Mobile'.  Look at me tripping over my own stupid jokes!

You're doing just fine.  I was worried how you were going to get by, after @Huw took all your memes away.

And a vehicle that went door-to-door selling Bat-Batmobile mobiles... would be a... Bat-Batmobile mobile mobile?

And if that Bat-Batmobile Mobile mobile had its own wheels and was from a certain city in Alabama?

    Yes... a Mobile-based mobile Bat-Batmobile Mobile mobile...

Okay, I'm done.  I suppose this a symptom of meme-withdrawal.

I was trying to work Playmobil in, but... enough's enough. (You guys passed "enough" a while back, I can hear some saying!)  :)

(Oh, there's never 'enough' when acting like a moron.  There's also never enough Fruit Gems, Mario Kart, Spicy Tuna Rolls, and Twizzlers.)

Alabama-based moving theatre production relating to weird children's toys sponsored by a petroleum company?

Mobile's Mobile Playmobil Play from Mobil.

Anyhoo... Back on track - haven't seen any S2 at either my local TRUs, Targets or Wal-Marts.

I have only seen them at my local LEGO store and only of one of the three Target stores on my commute. I think I saw a box at my local TRU store, but it was gone the next day.

I stopped at the Target store today to complete a second set and grab more dolphins.

No Mad Hatter fig yet either.
No Ventriloquist/Scarface mf either. I have seen it in the LEGO comics for the video games, so I wonder if we'd ever see one soon...

    Why isn’t this crystal green?

^Umm...maybe because green is more common? Or maybe Lego thought that blue just matched better?

If you are referring Green like in Kryptonite, isn't it just a rock on Krypton? ;-)

BTW, that is one of my favorites in Series 2.

:-) thanks. I go for the info-crystal theory
  • ShibShib Member Posts: 5,478
I thought it was pretty obvious it was an info crystal - Kryptonite was made by the explosion of Krypton, the event that killed Jor-El, so he couldn’t be holding Kryptonite.

Even if it was kryptonite then he should be suffering from the poisoning of the radiation, so the facial expression wouldn’t make sense. Also there are other forms of Kryptonite, and blue Kryptonite in most Superman universes is harmless to normal kryptonians (http://superman.wikia.com/wiki/Blue_Kryptonite)

Yes I always assumed he was holding info-crystals from the Fortress.

Generally, LEGO kryptonite is green.  Considering 80's Superman Jor-El is normally associated with the blue crystals - that would be my assumption.

Yeah, the variants of Kryptonite are a somewhat deep cut of Superman lore for Lego to get into, unless we get sets based on media that features them as a central plot point. So far, the closest we’ve gotten is Super Hero Girls with its *shudder* Kryptomites.

It's leftover crystalline chi from Chima.

Credit to the lovely twitter account @PanelPulp for finding proof that Merman Batman has been a thing for some time with this page from 1958:

^I can imagine. However, one thing that tends to turn me off mermaids in general is that similar setups are considered acceptable “clothing” for the actual maids.

Has anyone come across any misprints on any of the minifigs from Series 2 ?
