I’m inclined to agree with Toc13 and bandit778; when I was younger, I had no intention of ever getting married, I viewed it as unnecessary. However, meeting the now Mrs Toast* changed that. Together for 13 years & married 7

Gutted to hear that Mr and Mrs Toast aren't your real names :D I wanted to believe that after the wedding everyone made a toast to the new Mr and Mrs Toast. :)

Twilight. I watched the first movie and actually enjoyed it, and went on to pick up the second book at the bookstore afterwards. Actually found myself enjoying it too, and so did I with the rest of the series.

This was before the whole backlash started, and all of a sudden everyone hated Twilight, but I still loved it albeit somewhat more secretly than before

A great story, @snowhitie - by parts terrible and wonderful!

Nothing as exciting or sentimental for me, but here goes... was always a PC gamer and, even when I bought a PlayStation (& later an Xbox), I preferred the mouse and keyboard, especially for First-Person Shooters, as I just didn't "get" controllers. And then came Bioshock in 2007... my PC at the time just didn't have enough grunt to run it, so I downloaded the Xbox 360 demo and something just clicked! That was it: fully converted! Now 99% of my gaming time is devoted to all things PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo!

    GL everyone!

Some great stuff here and thanks to @snowhitie for hosting.

I moved in with the future MrsB 23 years ago this week and happened to be off work on valentines day so cooked her a meal for when she got home from work. She was totally gobsmacked and I've been trying to keep surprising her ever since.

I've always hated it, but I blame my surname for that.....

When I was getting married I offered to take my wife's name!!

Well, that looked like most of you liked that question. Was very nice to get to know all of you a little bit better, and some lovely stories. Thanks. If any of you feel like hosting too, got a couple more volunteers lined up for the coming weeks, but feel free to PM if you fancy a go.

Geez, do you have to make it a mention?? Every time I see my name mentioned in a Bonusball thread I think I've won. :)

@FowlerBricks yup, that's part of the fun isn't it :) And you need to know your number to be able to sit and look later on at the bonus ball!

That's funny - I did as well.  But my brother-in-law didn't think it was funny.  (He actually tried to change his surname!  But his wife put a stop to that.)

We call that @samiam391 -ism.  That's most of the reason I volunteer to do the Bonusball.

I realized after edit time was over I answered wrong. I would say beets is one thing I actually liked after trying them. I always assumed they would taste bad but I really like them.

Yup @SeijiAmasawa wins. Congrats. Send me a PM with your details and I'll send Marge on her way.

The second prize goes to @BooTheMightyHamster. Great to hear how a small instance had such a big impact on your life, and a great story to share (and looking at the likes you all agreed with me :) ). A little surpise will be coming your way.
