^Just be prepared for four shipping boxes to arrive in the coming days.

    ...and for related bank charges...
  • sid3windrsid3windr BelgiumMember Posts: 1,460
I haven't gotten to the confirmation stage yet, so I should be OK ... If not, it's more likely to be 15 boxes at this point. 14 can go back but I'll keep the 14 60Y sets, then.

Oh my god, I just ordered like 3-400 pieces from pick a brick, with maybe only 10-15 of any one kind maximum, and it took me a long time to put the order together because I was copying element IDs off PDFs and some of the pieces I had to bricklink instead... anyway, I would get that happening to me in the middle of picking all the time after like 20-30 minutes, almost without fail.  And I would never know if it had saved the work I had done or dumped it, and the only way to get it to go away was to just close out the shop completely and not go back for a day or so.  So. Frustrating.  I don't know how I got through that process without punching a hole through my screen.

^Love that mini-atv.  That was always my favourite space set so I might have to steal this design and build one.

Looks like [email protected] is out of 60Y - it's still being added to the basket but it's no longer advertised on the main page. Maybe that's why my order I've been trying to place since yesterday is borking... (but if there's none left, I'm not ordering, so there!)

@BombTec, I love that display, but what makes it for me is the grumpy old man in the background!!

@BombTec I was just at a Jeff Dunham show, Walter is hilarious. Jeff had a new puppet that he introduced during this tour, it was awesome.

Feeling rather squashed out of the Moments in Space Ideas contest. My entry isn't anywhere near the top even though it's a really good one (but I'm biased, so my opinion doesn't count).

Start of half term holiday, listening to Disney tunes and chatting my son is building the #75108 Rathar Escape, his friend is building #31021 Furry Creatures and I've just finished the last of the three dino's in #31058 Mighty Dinosaurs. Roast chicken in the oven. Bliss...

I have declared war on building 1950s and 1960s era cars in SC scale, because yesterday marked the fourth time I failed to build one on my own. The only one I am satisfied with is my 1963 Corvette Grand Sport Roadster. It’s also discouraging because now I kinda don’t want to try my hand at them anymore. I have a Bugatti EB110 that’s a WIP, and I plan on attempting to build a blacked out 2017 Ford GT road car and the road legal Lancia 037, though.

However, I ain’t about to give up so easily, especially in the case of the 1960s.

^Once I get my drive back, you’re next.

My Lego status would be too exhausted to build anything (working on the Ferrari F40) after being at the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Championship parade yesterday.

It was epic and awesome and definitely one of the best times of my life.

SCARED my Wife told me NO MORE unless I get rid of some, war has been declared but I shall fight to the near death,She is right I don't play with  them but it is something that gives me joy when I rotate through them ,making various improvements ,space is the issue

I have to pack something away, before I can build something new.
Space is always an issue now.

I have finally taken apart & put away my small Christmas set-up in preparation for building the Valentine's bee Brickheadz. Better late than never, right?

Current status: Seriously backlogged.  My build/display space has been blocked for house cleaning reasons for about 6 months, but my LEGO storage space has been pretty open... well, it was at the start.  One day I will catch up...

I finally decided to get rid of all the empty LEGO boxes I have been "storing" (read: kept all over the place) for the past 3 years. I have no plans to ever sell my LEGO, so why hold on to them?

The apartment complex where I live finally instituted recycling, so just a few steps away from my front door and into the recycling bin.

I hope you are all having a nice weekend!

(lemme know if these pictures are too big)

Since I used a number of pieces from my first 720S for my F1 LM MOC and the 720S has really grown on me, I decided I wanted another one:

Also, my latest MOC; Pagani Zonda Revolucion

    Next up:

Bugatti EB110(using a fantastic EB110 on LEGO Ideas one as a reference)
    Lancia 037
2017 Ford GT road car(using the official Ford GT Race Car as a reference)

Pillaging parts from various MOCs and searching through the random parts bin to rebuild this little beauty. I haven't built it for years, so I was surprised to find I still had all the parts.

I'm going to be also building the U.S. Capital, plus I'm just started collecting Presidential Bobbleheads. Please no political comments about any of the bobbleheads, for I'm just collecting them. My Favorite bobblehead is FDR for it also shows his dog (Fala).

Just built the 2 Black Panther sets which arrived from [email protected] this morning, and I'll be seeing the film itself tonight at 5.45 pm.  Looks like it will be a good one!

For the first time ever, a Bricks n Pieces order arrived before the regular [email protected] order!
Granted, the BnP order came today via Royal Mail and the regular order by Yodel, who didn't bother showing up yesterday and claimed I wasn't in!!! The cheek!!
  • Coolguy5000Coolguy5000 Ireland Member Posts: 1,573
I'm just back from Black Panther. Wow that sh*t was good!!! Kilmonger does a number on Loki for the best MCU villain for now in my opinion. The sets are very accurate,  combining aspects of scenes quite well. My only disappointment would be the lack of minifigures for Shuri  (I know we're getting her soon but would really like her gauntlet version from trailer!) and CIA Agent Everett Ross (who has a larger role than he did in civil war atleast).

Got some Captain America:The Winter Soldier vibes in terms of fighting and style, also the extended casino clip (shorter version on YouTube) was very James Bond like!

The soundtrack is only second to Guardians for the MCU.

I'd put this film 3rd in my MCU list after 1. Winter Soldier and 2. Civil War.

Right I'll stop now before I reveal too much!

    Let's  go infinty war!

Have you looked at buying MOC instructions? There are quite a few resources like BrickBuildersPro who sell plans.
If I'm honest, whilst truthful in its entirety, my post was intended more to give everyone a chuckle rather than garner serious advice but that's a capital idea nonetheless! Much appreciated, I'll check it out.

Couple of eBay bargains arrived today. Foolishly didn't buy the Y-Wing when it was on sale for £6 in December, come January it had vanished from the shelves. £5 won it for me. The Marvel set was just for the minifigures, I'm trying to get the Avengers and was missing Blackwidow, £14 for that wasn't bad either.

The 'reason' for the inflatable is that the mechanical arms are very heavy.  I couldn't find fault with that.

I came across a Clikits set yesterday in a charity shop for 75p. I thought to myself "it's only 75p so why not?". Well unfortunately the box actually only contained 6 of the pieces (should be 24) but did have a load of pretty beads. But anyway it seems that the pieces are sort of compatible with the proper stuff! I added them to my bee!

Huh - that's some interesting allegory/symbolism.  Maybe I should suggest adding a Fox in a death-grip of one of the tentacles.  (And a Minion, Batman, Harry Potter and Shrek just out of reach...)

Hope you find it useful. Keep in mind prices may have changed since I looked up a set or you may price the parts/figs differently.
