well, I don't like friends, but there was a few good sets in that box like #75004 Z-95 headhunter, the #4182 cannibal escape, and pretty much all those ones on the desk

Got a Takodana battle for 15$ (equivalent). I passed on it when it was 24$, but now I just couldn`t. The pieces are good for what I usually build, and at least I have Maz now, and a Kylo with a face, as opposed to faceless Kylo from 75104.

That set is a great parts pack. I grabbed a couple for cheap clearance too.

Nice find! What is the set number? It should be on one end of the box, if I’ve learned anything from @Istokg ’s posts.

Lego set 810, no box unfortunately it's just the large baseboard. Would have loved to find the whole set but I doubt it would have been £3.99, and if it had of been I might have died on the spot and not had the chance to buy it. :) I'm thinking it will make a great wall display piece as it looks so vintage. :)

Oh, ok. I thought the back side of the baseboard was the box top and back.

Very nice find @Lego_Minon ....  worth at least 40 Quid... :D

That is the UK/Ireland/Australia left driving version of the 200 LEGO Town Plan board of 1962-68.  It was included as part of the British 810 Town Plan set, and also sold standalone under the 200 number.

Perhaps you could donate the images to the Brickset database!  :-)

    https://brickset.com/sets/200-5/LEGO-Town-Plan-Board-UK-Australian-Cardboard-Version

This board was subcontracted out and made by Waddington's... a UK game board maker.

You have the later (1965-68) version where it just had "LEGO" on the board top.

This is the (1962-64) earlier version... identical to yours, except it had "LEGO System" on the board top.  Otherwise they were identical.  Huw... I was not aware that you didn't have a Town Plan board image.  You are welcome to this older version image.  :-)

That is Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen (current LEGO owner) on the board top).

From my Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide computer desktop 2800 page reference.

Just over 2 years ago, I picked up #41015 in a Black Friday deal for £24 & it's been in the present cupboard until a few days ago as it was my daughter's 5th birthday & I thought she could handle building it.
Today, I check charity shops in the next city over & find a bagged copy - possibly complete - for £3

So, that's two I need to find space for now. Not that I'm really complaining

Wife found a huge (maybe 5 lb.) random bag of Duplo, regular LEGO and other parts at a Thrift Store today. What caught her eye was parts she knew were from #268 . I had about 50% of this set (including the original box) and her find completed it. Now I have a 100% complete set.

There were a lot of parts that aren't LEGO, but some stood out. A lot of them had a logo that looks something like and anchor, or a smiley face on the studs. Anyone know what these are? I attached a picture, but it's not the best.

^I have a fair amount of these, too. From some digging, I think they are from a company called Tandem. If this is correct, there really isn't a ton of information about them other than they were a company in the 80s that tried to compete with LEGO.

just received the Ewok village I found, at around 150$(equivalent). looks as (almost) good as new. I know what I`ll be doing this weekend :)

Interesting, thanks. I noticed the clutch power is way over the top. Hard to get plates apart even with a brick separator.

I've looked a bunch of places. I guess you could put a set that big behind the board games, but I doubt it. Especially for the DB.

Batmobiles are between $10 and $35 in my area, but also nowhere to be found. I’ve been on the hunt too and nothing. That’s the last one I’m really hoping for.

Especially for the modulars, which I haven't seen go on sale that much.  Although a lot of that is likely due to the fact that I rarely see US stores stocking them much at all.

I used to work at my local Walmart... they can track sales of a particular item AND see who bought it; whether it was an associate or not.

i wouldn’t want anyone to get fired, but that’s waaaaaaaaaaay against the rules, and people HAVE gotten fired for buying cheap shit after marking it down, especially if they’re the one who completed the markdown.

I figured as much. I'm migh to talk to a manager about it. I don't like having my time wasted and I think a lot of this phantom stock has been shenanigans. I don't want anyone to get fired either. I fully expect the bounty to go to zero next markdown if there is one.

Buyer beware- that's often (almost always) stolen merchandise. I would not recommend purchasing anything else from that seller.
