    I bought one for the figures and to part out the sets for other uses, but then again I bought most of the TLBM sets to do this (and got most on sale for varying discounts). 30 is not bad IMO considering the last I checked that Two-face is going for something like 10 bucks in the US .
    What I find interesting is that only the first line of Batman/DC had the Black/White Two face color combo, but the movie and the later line of Batman have the other colors Two Face.. I kinda miss the Black/White version of him.

    $30 is great for the Two Face set. It is a surprisingly fun build, ended up being one of my favorites in the line. I am also partial to Billy Dee Williams Two Face as I grew up watching the Animated Series.

    I have done pretty well with the Target clearance this year. 

    I bought a Super Hero Girls  Dark Palace set for 70% off, which at a minimum gives me a number of parts for $30. I passed on the high school, which I have,  a friends hotdog stand and even passed on a Ninjago Ultra Stealth Raider set at 50% off. (We have).
    I grabbed the Disney Princess Arendelle Celebration For 50%,  (We have, but I wanted that light aqua color and extra snowgies), A smaller Nexo Knight set for 50%, And two smaller elf sets (the one shown in the above photos) for 70%.

    I grabbed 10 brickheadz at $4.98 at the Edina store. Seven of them are Armando Salazar. I have a mini zombie army :)
    I started with only two, but discovered that each one gets you a bunch of those nice 1x2x1-2/3 snot bricks, so I went back for more. The Beast and Robin both contain 14 of those, but Armando only 8.

    I used the Target App to price check.
    It listed this deal when I scanned it using the app: #41184 Aira's Airship $11.98

    But the register clocked in at $27.98.

    Tried to get it adjusted but denied.
    Told it may be online clearance price. (I knew it wasn't.)
    Then tried to buy it and pick it up.
    But stupid app says it's unavailable for pickup.

    My wife finally found Lego on clearance at Target near us. Sand baseplates for $5.68 each.

    It might be on yhe.list to be mark down more tomorrow.  I saw an item marked lower on brickseek than how it rang up on the price checker.  The very next day, it was marked down to the brickseek price.  Just a thought...

    ^This. I had some sets in my cart that were showing up on the App and on Brickseek for 50%+ off regular price but were labeled at 25% off on the shelf. I brought them to the register and the employee was able to price match the smaller sets (stuff like Mixels) but couldn't do it for things that were $20 or more different from stickered price. A manager came over to the scan the items and said they weren't that price yet but would be marked down later in the day when someone got over there. I asked if I could just save some people some time/stickers and just buy the sets now for that price. No dice.

    Didn't check Brickseek, but I understand your point: the Target App showed the price it was going to be on the next markdown.

    Going back in a day or two...

    Noticed some of the prices have dropped on Brickseek at Target....namely #75104 Kylo Ren Shuttle is down to $59.98 at select Targets

    They now have a disorganized clearance aisle like WalMart
    #76060 Dr. Strange half off - was looking for something good for a teenage boy, most of my gift stockpile is for younger kids
    Some other sets half off that I've parted out before, they look like good deals but I'll double check the prices and put more $ in the bank account linked to my redcard

    Saw $5.58 tan baseplates but didn't pull the trigger as I got some $4.42 bright green at another store

    My local store also set up a clearance aisle near the sporting goods. They had a bunch of LEGO there (lots of Dr Strange at 30% off), but they also still had clearance LEGO on an endcap in toys, where there were still a bunch of #75104 Kylo Shuttles at 30% off. I’m guessing they might go 50% soon.

    ^wouldn't count on it. My local Target has had the same sets on clearance for 30% for the last 3 weeks. If I'm lucky they may drop to 50% at the most before they're off to good will.

    Target is known to hike up Lego prices above the MSRP (so is TRU), but sometimes...sometimes you can catch some really great deals when they pricematch another chain which themselves try to pricematch Amazon. For example, I've been picking up these $25 Star-Wars-Bionicle-Type figures for like $12.49 all day.

    I also like the add'l 5% off with the "Target Card". It surely counters the 5% in VIP points you get at the far-away Lego Stores (although I do like their "Spend X; Get Y" promotions. I don't think the Lego Stores price match. Not in my experience.

    At least up here in MN, Targets have all their LEGO at RRP and commonly lower if it’s been around a while. And their own web price is often lower still. I’ve never had a problem getting them to match either their own site, nor Amazon.

    Maybe it's just here in Georgia, but the shelf sticker price is often $5 to $10 (or more) higher than Lego's RRP. Their online prices (and last season's SKUs) ARE often lower than RRP, but the online prices I found mostly due to auto-price-matching WalMart and/or Amazon (and that's because I either just came from WalMart of did had made a price chart by store cheat sheet pre-hand). And, yes, they are great at being willing to price-match right there at the store with minimal hassle. Much better than TRU and WalMart, ime.

    Yeah, TRU is ridiculous, but when you consider some of their sales...it evens out. On another note, maybe good for some deals (I dunno), I am hearing that TRU is going out of business. Bye-bye big-box-toy-retailer...Anyone else heard news about that?

    From what I have read, TRU declared bankruptcy in order to restructure its debt. Part of the reason they had higher than RRP on most items was due to the high interest they were paying their debtor. Someone else now owns their debt under much more favorable terms. From my perspective,  the first debt owner was just wringing money out of TRU, but the current debt owners actually see them as a long term investment want TRU stores to succeed.

    That being said,  the CEO has said that they are looking at all of their stores to see if they need to close unsuccessful locations. Some of their locations are losing money due to rent prices compared to sales per square foot. So some stores are going to close, some will relocate, some will be business as usual (but prices at RRP, so good for everyone!).

    Thanks for the explanation. I do find that except for around the holidays these stores are like indoor-ghost-towns and I spent alot of time going from store-to-store making my rounds in the past.

    I live in affluent-Atlanta, I guess...lol. Right out in the suburb/boonies/farms/et. al.

    Certain areas of Atlanta, like Buckhead, would absolutely qualify, IMO.

    never seen above MSRP at my Target except for older CMFs
    1 #70350 and 4 #41232 half off, never seen 70% off so I got these as soon as feasible

    Snagged another AT-TE for $60.

    I had gotten one this summer at WM for $38 but it was very banged up.
    This one wasn't bad and I made sure I scanned it to match the clearance tag and in-store price.

    I just about fell over today when I visited my local Target for something else. I made my typical Lego loop to see what was there (aside from CMF's, I've never made a purchase). I was shocked to see a few different sets on sale. Nothing too crazy. Some Joker Brickheadz for $5 and Killer Croc Tail-Gator (#70907) for $50. Some smaller sets too, but nothing that I had to jump at. 

    I just about had a heart attack when I saw a bunch of Kiss Kiss Batman key chains in an end cap bin with a $.99 price tag. I snatched them all up and quickly found the nearest price checker. I was saddened to see them come up at $5.99. I went back to the end cap and saw the $.99 tag was for some other item. 

    All that said, I did manage to grab the only two TLBM CMF Series 2 figs I wanted. The first two bags I fondled were the two figs I wanted. So it felt like a double win.

    Target seems determined to never lower their clearance prices any further. They have a ton of the RO buildable figures sitting on the shelf but they are stuck at 50% off of Target's original prices  - between $8.88 & $17.48. 

    In other news, I finally did come across the Cute Pug poly in the Valentine's section.

    ^ Target very occasionally will mark down to 70% off, but from what I’ve heard on here, they will take stuff that doesn’t sell at 50% and give it to Goodwill. I occasionally find stuff at Goodwill with Target clearance tags, but never LEGO so far.

    I have heard that Target's super heavy clearance also sometimes gets passed to TJ Maxx as well, including LEGO, but I almost never check them because it's incredibly hit or miss.

    ^ Seems unlikely as they are competitors. But maybe TJ Maxx has some round about way of acquiring Target’s overstock. I’m not exactly sure how their business model works.

    Target and TJ Maxx aren't competitors.  Places like TJ Maxx sell stuff other stores can't or don't want taking up space anymore.  They compete with places like Ross, Big Lots and Ollie's etc.

    Target sells their salvage merchandise to 3rd party sellers ie: Goodwill, Big Lots, TJ Maxx, etc.

    But sometimes, Goodwill, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc... will not beat that 50% Clearance price at Target.

    I've seen Nexo Knights and Elves sets 20% off the retail outlet stores, and some Lego sets at my Goodwills are priced pretty competitively with eBay prices.

    Roseville store has six #76051 Airport Battle and three #70907 Killer Croc at 50% off in D60. Also a bunch of #75119 Jyn Erso at $8.98.

    As a reference goodwill hardly if ever puts out these products in stores that arent in the middle of nowhere. I on occasion go to Goodwills on a lego lookout and haven't found any in the past few years since Goodwill Auctions became a thing. I believe they now have some kind of rule to put these things on the auction site to sell instead.
