Lately S@H packing hasn't been as bad, so I'm not worried.
I don't build right away anyway so I'm not in a rush.
I usually recycle boxes, so I'm not picky about condition for stuff I build. Yet for Saturn V, I may keep the big box as I did for Brick Bank. I trade most promos so I do care about the box condition on those.
Saving money until after the new year. Would rather have the 60 years.
As my dad explained it to me, whatever I buy today is going to be for sale somewhere tomorrow for less, so I compare all the deals I can find and buy when I think the price is acceptable. That makes for some odd ACM entries, like my #31037 - paid $14.95 each for 2, $7.49 for 1, and $2.49 each for 4.
That's pretty decent for Star Wars. Ignoring sales tax (if applicable) of course.
I hope I don't get flagged... lol

Marketing people love it.
Sorry if this is not news, but the BS listings have them at Legoland to start with.
#40262 Christmas Train Ride
#40263 Christmas Town Square
are both listed as "Call to check product availability". So I called and ordered 2 of each to get free shipping. Both are $9.99 and were OOS for weeks.
classic batcave now $188.99, that makes sense as 30% off
I don't want #40290 personally and I might not get one just to trade unless the deals that get me to $125 are great.
Tuesday the 6th is a rare weekday non-holiday off work, and the weather report is ordinary, so a trip to the LEGO Store might happen.
