I went in today to spend a few Reward points on non-LEGO before cancelling my credit card, and found some fantastic Twistables Crayons by Crayola marked at 1.99 instead of 8.99 for a package of 24 (which cost 4.49 at Target.) I insisted that the Manager sell them for that price, and AMAZINGLY, he did! All without my hreatening him with bodily harm or a lawsuit.
SO at least I got to use three $5.00 rewards certs and basically received five boxes of the crayons for free along with a couple of very cute polybags, especially the creative chameleon #30477 and the hot rod #30354.
Almost nothing was on sale in the LEGO area. Three days after Christmas??? Screw TRU. And they did not want to price match anyone for the other three LEGO sets I wanted to buy, so I passed. Their prices are just too high for my blood or pocketbook.

When they are that small in cost, they're supposed to be gifted/donated according to the CS person that assisted me.
I got a small set that way.
It pays to scan, especially the older sets.
Non-Lego related side note: the 50 cent skylanders seem to have run their course, shelves empty. Not a bad run considering they lasted about 6 weeks and new ones kept getting put out there.
But Series 2 should be excluded, but some people have been able to get it for that price.
No signs at my local store about a sale.
But since I want a few duplicates, I might stop by this weekend and ask.
Was actually in the store near me literally an hour and a half ago and they were running a 2 for 5 deal on them still there. :)
