My #OLD009 as I inherited it from my father, and my #SW028 as R2D2 is my favourite Star Wars character, and because it was a gift from my cousin.

Mine would be Blacktron 1 that I got in #6704. I remember the first time I saw him at my neighbor's house when I was a kid and thought how cool it looked wearing all black with the black visor.

Second would be #71013-10 Penguin Boy, since penguins are my favorite animal.

The ones I really like are the Hazmat suit guy and Ghost rider, as that was one of my favorite comics back in the day.
Value wise, I think my entire CMF series 1 (or at least the Zombie in it) along with Piggy suit, bumblebee girl and bunny suits.
ghost rider is a great minifigure, I'm glad I have him

    Agreed, glad I have him.

honorable mentions for me are the new drax (and pretty much all my Marvel figures, which is like 90 or something), Boba from carbon-freezing chamber, Jango fett from the corporate alliance tank droid, and Camo scout trooper (I don't have the set) Not just because he's worth a lot, but his printing is great, especially for 2006

And if Velociraptors count, I have all 4 of the ones from jurassic world. They have great printing and are woth a ton of money.

Saruman, king Theoden and Haldir. although they are probably amongst the most valuable in my collection, the reason is simply because I think they are the best looking.

Ooh, an SDCC fig. I want to get one of them sometime, but the problem is I'd want to open it up and add it to my Super Heroes collection, which would lower the value. I had a Deadpool, but he now resides in @SumoLego's house, where he will have a better life, since I'm not a Deadpool fan.
The SDCC minifigures are not "sealed", so you can open them up and "theoretically" not ruin the value of the minfigure. Somewhere; @samiam391 just threw up in his mouth a little.
    Yes, you are correct.

...It tastes awful in case you were wondering.

CAS319 Love her.  Got her in 6071-1 as a child and she was always my favorite.  She may not be my most valuable but she is the most prized
This is a fantastic figure, and I want one now.

Nice selection! I have always admired CAS319 from the early 90's when my son got into LEGO and I got into picking them up and sorting, ad nauseam. Everything about her is just lovely, and there were so few females to love back then.

I don't really know what of my collection is most prized.  But, monetarily, one of these is likely to be my most valuable.  I'm not sure which now.

My favorite would have to be these guys.

They were the first real shiny figs I owned. And they just look so darn cool.

A close second would be the minifigs from this:

Got them at a convention in pretty good condition. I’ll post pics of them once I get better.

This is tough. I'm huge fan of minifigures so this is like picking my favorite child. I haven't been collecting that long so I don't have anything super fancy. In terms of just favorites I still think hiker from Series 16 is so great. Same with Red Beard. Probably not super valuable, but I can't help but smile when I look at those 2. Classic Batman is up there too

And what you are looking at there are my total LEGO acquisitions for 2017!

I’m so weak. Just picked up Deadpool, Wolverine & Magneto on eBay. Deadpool does look amazing..

Certainly one of the figures I'm most fond of is Captain Roger (or whatever his name was) from the first Pirate line - in a land of plain smiley minifigs, he really stood out!

I had no idea that Deadpool was so desirable - I still have a MISB version of the set with him in it somewhere... if anyone wanted to make an offer!

I only collect Star Wars figs, so my chrome Vader is probably most valuable.
I have been thinking about selling them all though, and creating a bit more space.

Indy + Marian Ravenwood. Got them last year off this very website during the Secret Santa event.

When I get too many, I just have a big sell. For example:

So, if you had to choose two minifigures to call your 'most prized', who would it be? For me, I have to say Thrawn is #1 and Lester gets a very close #2

Lester is definitely on my want list. Curious why those 2 besides the blue guy looks unique. I have no idea who the character is.
Why are these two my top two? Well, Lester because I'm in the US, therefore making him hard to get and Thrawn because I'm a huge fan of him. Actually, Thrawn just got booted out of #1 in favor of Silver Centurion, so now it's Silver Centurion #1 and Lester #2.

Those guys are pretty awesome. Those are the first Shadow troopers that Lego has released for quite a few years.

Alright, I gotta update my top two. Thanks to an early Christmas present from a friend, I just acquired Silver Centurion! Now #1 is Silver Centurion and #2 is still Lester. Sorry Thrawn, but you got #3 now.

^Nice! But who's the first dude supposed to be?? Also, using the trans-clear studs on the foot rockets is a great idea! It makes them match the hand rockets better.

Be careful about inserting trans-clear studs of any color into minifig feet. They're a different type of plastic, not ABS, and cam cause stress and eventually cracking on the legs.

I don't really care about cracking on the legs. You can barely see it. Many of my figs have them and I rarely ever see the cracks.

^ The blue spaceman is Benny from TLM. The sausage is sorta his thing.

Thanks! It was built some time back, only recently added the grey spaceman thanks to rocket boy.

The sausage was given to blue spaceman as he's the happiest of them all... or is it the other way round?

I bought them from BL, though can't remember which light grey. If the LBG cannot be found in BL then it's likely the old grey.

Got the Dimensions Goonies pack a few days ago.  That was my favourite movie as a kid and it's awesome to me to have gotten a Sloth minifig.  Aside from that, the Wolverine Chopper set was one of the first sets that I bought when I came out of my dark ages in the post-Christmas clearance season of 2012, so that Deadpool minifig takes the second spot.  Rounding out my top 3 would be Darth Revan, just because I'd never have expected to have seen a minifig of the character released.
