    Took a stroll through TRU in Colorado this evening expecting to find very little.  However, I begin to see some of the 2018 Sets in Juniors, Creator, City and Technic.  If you are interested in having some of the new 2018 early, keep your eyes open.  I was almost in disbelief and thought for certain they would not allow purchase, but they did.  I only purchased #60181 Forest Tractor.

    I think they might've lifted that restriction.  I got another reward recently and didn't see Lego excluded in the fine print when I skimmed it quickly.

    @Ma1234 looked and nothing additional in the instructions for #60181 other than 1 page for LEGO Life.  Sorry

    Stopped by TRU tonight.

    2 for $5 Lego Minifigs.

    And they had a few Women of NASA sets for $26.99.

    Got one set and added two TLNM minifigs and got a R3-M2 promo.

    At least at my TRU, the 2 for $5 minifigure deal was limited to 8 per customer.

    You are correct. The sign in front of the CMFs mentioned 8 per customer.

    For anybody wondering, the 2/$5 CMFs count toward the $30 to get a free #5004916 Kai's Dojo polybag.  Have to stack something with them to reach $30 since you can only buy 8 at the 2/$5 price.  I used one of the Minecraft skin packs to get there.

    Yeah, the bricktober sets also work as well apparently (or at least you can ask the cashier about it). I went to a TRU recently and found a bunch of the bricktober sets ,including a batman one, a bunch of the jungle ones(no surprise), and a bunch of the week 4 ones (no Ninjago strangely enough), they said were not there when I called them the week before (this is why I do not bother calling stores to ask if they have polys or special promo sets).

    Well, through a combination of sale price, price matching, and sweet talking the employee into letting me use the 25% off if you sign up for their credit card deal for Legos despite them being excluded and for normally excluded price matched items, I just saved a ton on Legos:

    Technic 42054: $100.56 ($189.99)
    Volcano Heavy Lift Copter: $89.99 ($149.99)

    I think that is pretty good for today.

    I am going to return some items I bought earlier at a higher price that came yesterday since I got it much cheaper today.

    Awesome, thanks! I was able to use my $5 Rewards since it's Dimensions, plus added one of the free shipping Brickheadz from the holiday sale and got 58% off my order. Got the Beetlejuice fun pack and Teen Titans team pack, which clears my want list of Dimensions!

    A bunch of #30355 Jungle ATV at my local store, but when I tried to buy one it came up "do not sale until December". So I am expecting a promo the week after Thanksgiving.

    They also had several 2018 City sets out. Did not try to buy one as I usually wait for the mandatory 20% off:

    - #60173 Mountain Arrest (The only one I was tempted to buy. It rang at the scanner at $59.99... only 303 pieces. No thanks)

    Thanks...I had no idea the rewards would still work for Dimensions.  Guess I'll grab something tomorrow when I pick my order up.

    Received an email from TRU announcing over 300 sets on sale plus free shipping from 11/19 thru 11/25. Mostly 20% to 25% off on the items I looked at. Site was crashing repeatedly, "Not responding due to a long running script". I didn't expect to see website meltdowns until at least Thursday...

    Yeah...those suckers. They dropped three of the prices on sets I bought on Saturday...total of $50 less ):

    Now, I got OTHER discounts on those sets that resulted in me paying less....but still...had I bought them today instead of Saturday, I could have used those same discounts and still saved the $50 or so.  Ugh.

    I picked up the duplo preschool for my 3 year old for 15.39. I have never seen that set on sale before now. I also got the LEGO city fun in the park people pack for $26.24 which is the cheapest I have seen for that set.

    rakuten dot com has a 20% off sitewide. code is bf20. you can browse the TRU lego sale stuff on the site and double dip their saled items on top of the 20% off.

    Sounds like a scam, apparently that rakuten site also does fraudulent CC charges.
    Rule of thumb, if the deal is too good to be true, there may be a reason for that

    it's not..... if rakuten got any CC fradulent charges, it might have been on the processor of the credit cards, not the site. rakuten sounds suspect but they are as legit as they come. they are formerly buy.com

    i'm new the community and my minimal posts, but i'm not trying to be toxic. i do understand you being suspect, you don't have to shop there. others that are familiar with them, take advantage!

    Went ahead and gave Rakuten a try.  Grabbed the #42065 Technic tracked RC car for $67 shipped.  Seemed like a solid deal.

    Interesting, did not know that this company owned eBates.. Just sounded a bit strange when you hear of a company that is somehow stacking 20% on a 20% discount from a company like TRU which typically does not allow such discounts to occur.

    Yeah, I had part of my order ship now, but waiting for others.. TRU complains about losing money.. Im guessing there is some reason why they are doing it this way, but it is a bit baffling as to why

    Well, so far not too impressed with Rakuten, ordered 11/24 at 8am and my order is still listed as processing.  Is that normal?  I ordered something from ToysRus eBay that already arrived...

    This morning I received a shipping notice for an item that was delivered yesterday, so I think TRU is not very consistent with how they notify customers.

    Order in Rakuten (Toysrus) too, never received any shipping notice.  Part of the order  arrived but not all yet.  The business hour of Rakuten customer service hotline also sucks, only opens like 9-5 EST Mon-Fri.

    I received my order from ToysRUs on Rakuten fairly quickly.  Two items, each arriving on separate days (Monday and Tuesday).

    Just an FYI, I was able to put an online order in for 5004939 at Toysrus.com this morning, for RRP $19.99. It reads "limited stock" and "limit 5 items per customer." I got an order confirmation, but I obviously don't know if it will actually ship. We'll see. Just thought this info would be useful if, as was the case for me, your stores sold out of these quickly.
