25% off Marvel toys cartwheel deal today only doesn't specifically exclude LEGO
I wonder if they consider the LEGO Marvel superheroes sets to be Marvel toys. Anyone tried this?

^ There is also a cartwheel deal for 20% off LEGO DC Super Hero Girls that ends today.

I gave the cartwheel discount a shot. It does not work.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
No killer deals even if the discount would've worked

Lego Dimensions B2G1, could be a good opportunity to get some of the newer items for a reasonable discount.
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
On Sunday the b2g1 was stacking with the board game b2g1 as well. Allowed you to get the new dimensions for 50% off. It didn't last long though.

Saw the #66558 Super Pack on clearance for $24.98 today.  The DPCI is 086-14-1082.  According to Brickseek, that's the cheapest it's gotten around here (MSRP is $50).

#66558 is $34.98 here, at that price I'll pass
    It's #41305 #41306 #41307 #41308 #41309 and a small bonus
They have the holiday promos for sale separately, and that I'll do

Is the Lego Worlds Game deal $15 bucks for the Switch version?  That seems like a good enough deal to pull the trigger.
  • BumblepantsBumblepants Member Posts: 7,624
If the Switch logo is a red thingy then yes. It looked different than the xbox and ps4 titles next to it. I assumed it was saying all platforms of the titles listed were valid as they were mixed but didn't read the fine print.

Yeah, just saw the BF preview email from Target. Consider me underwhelmed...not that there have really been that many BF deals of interest in the past couple of years anyway.

Would have liked some of the $49.99 sets for $29.99 last year - even then, WalMart had better deals, so I rushed there instead

The only thing that I would find more appealing would be the XXL basic building sets that are 30 dollars, the rest of what is at Walmart typically appears on sale is about on par with Target I think.
Guessing Amazon may go crazy this BF and around that date as IMO Amazon's LEGO sales have been so so at best for most of the summer, if not for the whole year.

That's precisely what I went to WM for last year; I agree their other LEGO sales weren't spectacular

Back to Target, I got a 66558 after all. It contained the ordinary set boxes for 41305 through 41309, while that may seem like excess packaging it's probably good for economy of scale and makes it easier to separate the sets. There were instructions for a bonus build, but that was just an alternate build rather than more pieces. The small bonus is #5004395.

Yep, all stuff that other retailers clearanced earlier this year for way better deals.

Actually I think the Harvest of fear set is still a decent buy at 35 for those of us who missed the insane Walmart and Target clearance prices, though not sure if it is worth it to go to Target on BF

I did not get it free with just the #5004928 batman keychain. Maybe they finally put in the $35 minimum. Non-LEGO toys didn't count with or without a $35 requirement. 5 Santas and 3 Batman keychains worked. It didn't scan automatically with 6 Batman but service desk worker put it in manually

The new NASA set is still out of stock, but here's the link to make it easier to check if it's available again.

Just to clarify on what it takes to get the free Christmas tree set...any of the $3.49 polybags with DCPI 204000291 should work.  That should include Ninjago, Star Wars, and Batman polybags as well as the Santa one.  I've read this only works in the self checkout.  I did it with both #30478 and #30427 with multiple free items on one receipt without hitting the $35 threshold...one freebie for each polybag

  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
You cracked the code! I was confused by what the promo required in their system, and why my receipts listed only one item grouped with the tree. Now I know what to do tomorrow.
Apparently spending $35 and picking out enough was unnecessary. The turtle, Santa and perhaps the Batman keychain were worth it anyway.
Tonight when it didn't scan automatically and the cashier didn't know was a process to find someone with a clue. Settled on #60117 for $12.99 for my camping collection,  #30354 Hot Rod polybag and a 2nd Xmas tree and more keychains.

$4.99 for that?! Ahh, good ol' SW 'tax' that some people say is not there. But is that a poly, or is that something that fell out of a magazine or something and Target slapped a price tag on?

Found in Jackson TN as well, with Kiss Kiss/Turtle/Santa.  I figure it will be a gift with purchase, hence the $4.99 price tag.  "Free item worth $4.99!"

Anyone know if it is in the Brickset DB yet?  I cannot find it.

City pack is #66559 DCPI 204002163, 5 starter sets, at full retail otherwise
Friends pack has. been previously discussed, 66558, DCPI 086141082, and counted for a free tree before.
They had 8 trees left, got 5 #30524, another 66558 and 30354, and #30401 DCPI 086142020 also counted
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Now that I know how the promo works, and with the Cartwheel deal on 66558, I returned and rebought some things. Got $10.76 and another 30524. It's still not as good a result as if I knew ahead of time. Will see if the promos work similarly next week, then the mini Falcon may be worth it
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Lots of Friends and City 20% off (but not 66559), not much SW on sale, they're trying to get away with just the mini falcon there. Polybag to get promo for free did not work this week.
    More 30478 in Christmas section
  • HanzoHanzo Member Posts: 607
Anybody know if the Millennium Falcon giveaway is in the main brickset database, I mean, I know it looks like something I cobbled together to sell out of my garage and they spelled Millennium Falcon wrong on the "packaging" but still.

Didn't TRU have a kids free build day where they built the same/similar Falcon, except minus the stand?

Either way, I went to a Target that had them dumped on a shelf and caved in and bought one.

I think Barnes and Noble also had the same build.
Maybe this was from TRU in 2015...
Star Wars Reads Day (no printed plate though)

I saw a bucket full at my Target.
    How many did you need?
And how much will it cost to post from California?
I think it was listed at $4.99 but I didn't scan it.

Santa polybag is chilling at the seasonal area with a bunch of Cinderella and friends polybag with the smoothie/fruit stand at one target I went to yesterday. They had the millennium falcon for $4.99 but instead of getting that, I decided to go for a Lego minecraft skin /character pack. They had about four at an end cap with a tag for $14.99.
