We have piece counts for 149 of the sets you own. Using that data we have calculated that you own 28140 pieces

This does not include all the grab bags or the pab wall purchases. It does not include bricklink or eBay parts purchases.
According to my wife I have too much.
According to me, I don't have enough :D
I've only built a few sets myself since I'm a minifig collector. I must resist opening his sets and stealing the figs.
Not much compared to some, but I've not even been back into Lego for a year yet...
Impressive.
•You own 218 sets (199 different)
•We have piece counts for 187 of the sets you own. Using that data we have calculated that you own 83240 pieces!
•You own 548 minifigs
Owned:
Sets: 928 (~350 are collectible minifigures, Ranked 1339)
Pieces: 183481 (Ranked 3617)
Minifigures: 1991 (Ranked 2232)
Retail Price: $20,946
$2k per year sounds about right.
My rule the past few years has been not to introduce new cash into my collection, but to sell what I have to fund new sets.
220 sets, 196 different
485 minifigs
60,548 pieces
No clue how to keep track of random pieces no included in sets, but have a few tubs worth as well.
Brickset says I have 19 sets and 27 minifigures - but they're all on display :)
My collection: xwingpilot.uk
The original teenage poster is likely a working class adult now, I wonder what is his current status.
Back on topic, I have around 6900 minifigures (inclusive of loose ones not in my Brickset database) and close to 800K parts inclusive of loose/PAB bricks.
Been slowing down drastically for the past 2 years due to lack of fund. Rank wise both around 130+. Don't think I will ever break into the top 100 unless I move into a bigger house AND had a windfall. :)
I've got a bit of a cop-out, as I separate my keychains, polys, 'display/build' sets and set collection across four different profiles. And I've got non-categorized marketing and promotional stuff that defies inventory. And there are the seven storage bins of loose pieces...
And I now realize my minifigure displays aren't included in any profile.
Otherwise, there is just too much to page through!
I have at least another 40 sets still in their boxes
I've slowed in my collecting / logging of set and parts because I've dropped a few spots on the list. I have been picking up used lots (and it's adding to my total numbers) but I haven't been logging the loose parts / LugBulk on this site. So my total parts number below is actually closer to 300k.
Sets: Own 920, 641 unique
Minifigs: 2,358, 1,194 unique (no idea the truer number for this, likely closer to 3000)
Parts: 185,979 (closer to 300k with bulk, bricklink, and other secondhand purchases)
238 Sets
138 Polybags
6 Dimensions
25 Books
28 Magazines
334 CMF's
Most of my sets are either open or will be opened as i enjoy building them.
In the end I wake up sweating all over my body.
Oh my: do you think I have to see a psychiatrist?
Running into the same issue as @catwrangler in that if I keep going at the rate I've been buying sets, I'm going to have to kick some of the kids out of their rooms to put some of my Lego sets (I'm a display guy, not a MOC guy....yet?) Although I'm sure they'd understand that kicking them out of their room was for a good cause. ;)
(puts on glasses)
.....paperballparked it.
(YEAAAAAAAAAAA)
/shows self out.
What I want to know is, how do people inventory and keep track of their loose parts without going insane?
