    Well, tonight's Wal-Mart run was a bust.

@Hanzo... I've got a wedding and a birthday coming up, if you want to send me a 70902 as a gift...

A TLNM box out with only 2 bags left, no N-POP Girl
    A few minor rollbacks
    2 #60124 $30 each and $1 #10852 in clearance aisle
    Also $11 #41234 $3.92 #30401 (not great deal) and $11 #60123 (seals broken)

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Sorting-Box-Transparent-Black-Ninjago-Movie/368846478

Picked up 8 Ninjago Movie Sorting boxes yesterday at local Walmart for $2.00 each, and one #75149 Resistance X-Wing for $30.

SKU for the sorting box = 368846478 for those who want to use Brickseek. Most stores locally are listing it for $9.84. The partitions are fixed in place. For similar-sized LEGO containers I prefer the little suitcases that come with sets like #10740, as they have movable partitions, but for $2/each I think these are a good deal.

I've never seen my WM put polybags on clearance - so I went ahead and got a #30551 for my minidoll collection. The build might go with my castle.

I found one odd #30551 Cinderellas Kitchen polybag at $2 the other day mixed in among a big pile of #30402 at regular price.

I’ve said it before, but even if they aren’t in the clearance aisle or marked down, scan any City Volcano sets. $5 for the $24.99 truck set. That’s a few weeks after getting two of the others also for 80% off.

Also scan Elves sets. I’m not into Elves, but at $4 for the water dragon, I’ll give it a shot.

Yeah, I never trust something is labeled correctly, I scan a ton of stuff when I go.

^My store has made this easy by moving the Lego to the same aisle with the price scanner.

I'd still grab the Walmart app, that way you can scan on the move.  High speed low drag!

I use the app too; tired of stocking up a cart and going back and forth.

another perk of the app is once you scan an item, related items show up and you can see what they’re selling for in the same store.

    Saves time.

^You can also switch locations in the Walmart app and see the price at another store. Or scan the barcode on a set you have at home and check local store pricing without ever leaving the house. Local store had #75149 in the clearance aisle for $64 for weeks. I used the app to check each morning, went and picked it up when the store price dropped to $30.

^ I do the same. Makes it much easier.

^^I need to employee this technique.

I felt a bit odd on my 3rd trip to a nearby scanner (almost half way across the store because the closer one was broken) with a cart FULL of sets.
  • YodaliciousYodalicious Member Posts: 1,366
^ The other good thing about using the app is what @77ncaachamps said above. It’ll show you all other LEGO items as well below the one you scanned. So I typically scan one thing then just scroll down to see what else might be discounted. Sometimes it may be hard to find the items though. Store I was in yesterday said it had the newer airport terminal set for $11. It was nowhere to be found.

This is familiar to anyone who uses Brickseek much less this WM App.

That's when I throwback to my youthful self and search behind other boxes in the Lego section and neighboring sections. lol

^Check the top of the shelves, too. I found one set all alone on top of the rack amongst unrelated stuff. Luckily the set # was visible.

Found 1 #70915 Two-Face Double Demolition for $30 and got it. Also found a Rathtar Escape set - this store had clearanced them put a few months ago, but unfortunately it got deleted frpm the system so it just rang up regular price again.

^and to echo the sentiments above - the Wal-Mart app is so much better than filling up a cart and frantically searching for a working prixe scanner! I never have to do that now.

    It's this thing.

I recently purchased one of these at my local Walmart for $24.86. It's truly an amazing price for such a high-quality product.

To find it using the BrickSeek Walmart Inventory Checker, search for 887988010395 via the UPC lookup. It seems to display the correct product. I hope this helps.

A few post summer clearance toy reset finds today.  Most of these items don't have a spot on the shelf so you have to look for things out of place.  Probably extreme YMMV, but the prices are very nice.

    #10728 Mia's Vet Clinic $5
    #75524 Chirrut Imwe $5
    #21126 The Wither $15
#76077 Iron Man Detroit Steel Strikes $13
    #41309 Andrea's Musical Duet $2
    #31056 Green Cruiser $4.50
    #41303 Puppy Playground $1
    #41304 Puppy Treats & Tricks $1
    #70914 Bane's Toxic Truck Attack $25

Walmart, Mountain View, Ca has some LEGO Dimension (2 figures) Fun Packs  for $6.00, Some scan full price at $11.88

Wonder Woman, Emmit, Dr. Who scanned at $6.00. still not as good as the 99 cent Store deal though! I just scanned a few randomly.

Wonder Woman and Emmitt have been $2-3 around me for months it seems.  Marceline is $6 if you can find her.

Found a few random good deals today in Eden Prairie. Got a #75160 for $4.50 and a #75163 for $4. They also had a huge pile of Dimensions in the clearance aisle. Best deal I saw was #71209 Wonder Woman for $6. I left that on the shelf, and also a #75523 Scarif Stormtrooper that was laying on a top shelf and scanned for $5.

    #21135 Minecraft Crafting Box $48.00
    #76086 Knightcrawler Tunnel Attack $40.00
#70914 Bane Toxic Truck Attack $40.00
#76084 Ultimate Battle for Asgard $40.00
    #76082 ATM Heist Battle $16.00
    #76085 Battle of Atlantis $16.00
#70612 Green Ninja Mech Dragon $40.00
    #70614 Lightning Jet $48.00
#75166 First Order Transport Battle Pack $12.00
    #75169 Duel on Naboo $20.00

I'm most surprised at the Justice League, Thor Ragnarok and Star Wars TLJ sets being discounted before the movies have even come out.  The BB-8 Price is not bad at all for $80.  Another walmart did not have those prices, except for the BB-8.  As always, YMMV

Local Walmart (Ordnance Road, Glen Burnie, MD) had #70617 Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon for $80 (RRP $100) and #70615 Fire Mech for $58 (or maybe it was $56?) (RRP $70).
  • CaptainRogersCaptainRogers Member Posts: 869
Yup, most Wal-Mart stores just marked down a lot of MSRP sets to 20% off. I got #70615 Fire Mech for $56 yesterday.

Yeah TRU had it during Bricktober for 20%. Combine that with the bricktober minifigure set, plus the additional droid, it was not a bad purchase, especially being from a TRU.

Saw some of the fun packs from the last wave of Dimensions on clearance already today:

    #71349 - Beetlejuice $7
    #71343 - Powerpuff Girls - Buttercup $7
    #71287 - Teen Titans - Starfire $7

The Powerpuff Girls team pack was also on clearance, but only down to $20

At a different WalMart, no standout set deals, but a nearly full case of TLNM. Only 2 n pop girl, doublechecked, maybe the 3rd was one of the few bags that sold already

Anyone think the AT-ST #75153 is worth picking up for $32 or should I wait for a bigger discount on Black Friday?  Discounts on Star Wars sets seem to come often.
  • ReesesPiecesReesesPieces Member Posts: 1,131
The AT-ST was part of the additional 40% coupon deals at toys r us last Saturday so it ended up being $21.  I believe this is a sign that they have plenty and will be discounted to reflect that in the near future.

Last year was #10622 (nearly 200 DUPLO) and #10697 (about 1500 LEGO) for $30.
#10704 or #10854 is nearly as good a deal per piece, the smaller boxes might be easier to handle and multiples yield more of the same piece

The Ninjago Movie accessories are starting to pop up in the clearance sections of my local Walmarts. The display case for $5, sorting/storage case for $3, and lunch box for $3.

Also a Jay keychain/flashlight for $1, but he had no arms, so I passed.

I am hoping for a $5 display case.  The local Walmart still has a few for $19 each, but they have been dwindling slowly.  I hope there are some left when it drops again.

Glad I checked this thread and WalMart.com!
@madforLEGO I saw that but ignored it since it wasn't technically accurate.
Quantity limit was 1, so I got 10854 (still an OK deal) for free shipping. When I went to place another other, 10704 was in stock but 10854 wasn't. I didn't know what else to get, as overpaying for another set makes it a mediocre deal. Eventually I found a good deal on a non-lego item I wanted. That had a pickup discount, so I'll try that. #60153 Fun at the Beach is 20% off, I was looking for a bigger sale before pulling the trigger, which this sort of is.

In store, I got 23 - store had 27, and others grabbed 4.
I figured I could carry about 15 by bike, so I brought that much cash. I had plenty of cargo capacity left so I went in and got the rest. It helped that I brought my pocketknife and empty backpack for repacking.
