@Yodalicious I'm in the same boat with some of the Iron Man figures. Probably $30 on Iron Patriot, was given the Silver Centurion as a gift, and got a number of sets just for the others and War Machine figs. They're the only ones I collect all of (only missing the 2012 NY Toy Fair one). I'm trying to come up with a display cabinet for the them but haven't come across any I really like.
Unfortunately...or fortunately, I suppose...I've done it many times over with Silver Centurion and Iron Patriot.

My idea is eventually a massive Hall of Armor. That's likely lost to the depth of my MOCs That Are Nothing More Than Ideas list though.

And I'm missing the Toy Fair one too. I'm okay with that though. My mind has put up a wall for most of those limited ones. I like to pretend they don't exist. It isn't easy though. As evidenced by my desire for the Wilson Cap one.

£40 for Brawny Boxer #8909-2 that came with a massive box of free other stuff..

£12 for Zombie Bride #mof010 which came with a free copy of #9465...

£20 for Spiderman #spd012 which, would you believe, also came with a free box of other bits..

27€ for a used #70724 Ninjacopter set when all I wanted was P.I.X.A.L.

The minifig can be bought for 10€/12€ +shipping but collecting single minifigs without the set they belong to is something my OCD brain stays far, far away from.

Bought March this year, not realizing the good deal that was as #70724 is hard to find second hand in Europe.

She's still my favourite minifig, especially now I'm convinced she'll return in the Ninjago TV series' season 8.

Mine was Deadpool.  I ended up picking him up for around $35 on Amazon.
I couldn't bring myself to buy the set he was in.  Should have bought it when it was still on shelves.

I guess I didn't truly pay for him as I used my reward points to pick him up.
But he was the highest priced figure I spent money on.

2nd place goes to Wolverine from set 76022.  I spent $15 on him and he came with his claws, hair and mask.

I think around $80 for a Comic-Con Unikitty. Oh wait is that a Minifigure or not? Most I'll spend on a Minifigure by itself is $10. Now if I want the figure, and it's not in a theme I collect I'll wait for clearance sales. Case in point I like the monsters in Nexo Knights, but not the sets so I'll wait. If I can get at least 3 out of 4 good Minifigures in a battle pack I'll buy at full price.

The Unikitty was my most expensive one, too!

I stand corrected.  I spent 45 on him.

I had a Silver Centurion Iron Man in my hands recently.  Just couldn't pony up the 65 for him.

^ Good! $65 is too much for Silver Centurion. Average sold price on Bricklink is about $30. A lot currently for sale are listed above $40, but $65 is far too much. I've only bought a couple of the ones I have and I paid around $25 for them. The ones I've traded for, I've given up around $25-30 in trade value. He may be $65 someday, but you should be able to get him for half that at the moment.

I tend to limit the eBay price to a max of £10 including shipping. I may have only exceeded this once or twice, prob on the Chrome Stormtrooper and Princess Leia from the jabba sail barge (original yellow version). Of course, I may have exceeded it many times and I'm mentally blocking out the reality.

That's kinda how I felt too, even if it was still in the polybag.

I saw a few more, opened, for 45 that day too.
I'll have to keep my eyes open for something in the price range you mentioned.

^ $45 opened is a lot too. There are a few sealed under $40 on Bricklink at the moment.

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=5002946-1&name=Silver Centurion polybag&category=[Super Heroes][Avengers Age of Ultron]#T=S&O={"ss":"US","loc":"US"}

They do seem to be creeping up a little lately, but still some out there.

UPDATE: Sorry, the link opens up to all for sale, not just U.S., which I tried to put in, but at least it gives you a list.

Thanks to a very generous polybag trade with @gratefulnat, I'm now the proud owner of Darth Revan. All for the cost of a large letter to Switzerland :)

@xwingpilot - you forgot to mention that of course the large letter contained a nice little SW polybag set that I am now the proud owner of. Thanks!!

Lots of the girly type characters are sought after and so go up in value.

The going rate for Darth Malgus seems to be about £25 in the UK (looking at Ebay sold prices). That's another figure I'd quite like (but again not at that price).

I don't know what the most I have spent is, I'm sure little, but I know at one point the hobbit minifigures I had were selling incredibly well. I mean, really good.

I bought two SDCC Unikitties, one as an investment, the other because I had to have those expression bricks! They cost me about $100 each.

If you don't consider them true minifigures, the next highest is probably my Queen Amidala, which I bought because I thought (and still think) that figure stretches the boundaries of minifigure-ness to the limit and beyond. I think I paid between $15 and $20 for her; I notice she goes for a lot more now.

In general, if I can't get the minifigure for $10 or less (and the set is out of range too) then I manage without it. For me, Lego is all about the bricks (probably because by the time minifigures appeared I'd vanished into my Dark Ages) and minifigures are icing on the...brick. Very nice icing, admittedly.

@rocao that's some nice karma for you, that's great.
I didn't realise he was worth that much (or even a fifth of that) so will remove him off my wishlist now.

About £45 on Professor Trelawney to complete my cast of HP characters. I bought Trelawney, Mad Eye, and Umbridge about three years apart to trick my brain into not realising I was spending about £150 on three minifigures.

£60 on Malgus - thinking of spending £200 on a gold c-3po but i've seen some low prices quoted here for him - anyone willing to part with theirs on the off chance?

I was willing to spend 425 EUR for a 30th Anniversary C3PO (4521221). After a two weeks mail negotiation I left the conversation. The gap was still 425 EUR on my side and 550 EUR on the other side.
