Don't mind, just wanna see what it's like tbh. Apparently Westfield will have them tomorrow anyway.

^ That'll be very odd. Those who are queuing tonight after position 150 will have to wait for an MF to be delivered to them, yet those who get a good nights' sleep and go into their local store at opening tomorrow morning will get one before them.

Yep, well that's what I heard a sales rep telling one customer when I popped in at 5pm.
  • PaperballparkPaperballpark UK / KLMember Posts: 3,607
Oh I know they'll have some, I was just saying that it'll be odd that people going in to other stores tomorrow will get one before some of those queuing up tonight.

It's weird seeing a two story LEGO store (for me anyway).

^ Box doesn't look so big in that photo! Which is good since I'm now going to have to lug it home from the office where I get all my online purchased lego shipped to! :)

I'm very surprised that your phone batteries aren't flat by now.

So...many...UCS Millennium Falcons! It is hitting me like a brick, the realization I can't be physically present at my friendly neighborhood LEGO store tomorrow morning due to being in the countryside for work, and be able to roll out with one of these! Oh well, there is always ordering online tomorrow morning. I suspect if I get an order in, it might get to me in time for my birthday late next month (although I hope for sooner).

    How cool is that?
Well done for sticking it out, guys (and gals?).  Standing around for a while is ok, but hours on end plays havoc with my ageing bones.
Hope it stays dry for you getting your purchases home.

What are they building? A human scale modular made of Millennium Falcon boxes?
  • caterham7caterham7 UkMember Posts: 405
How's the queue looking now? I'm gonna stroll up at 10.30pm just to see what's happening. Gonna park nearby too incase I can actually buy a set.
I don't think you'll be driving home with a UCS MF tonight...

I can arrange it - welcome to come and give me a lift back to Tower Bridge at 1am!  ;)

First look of the exclusive case....I think!  Now who regrets not making the effort?

Two black VIP cards will be issued to the first 100.  The first card will be issued in its case for display purposes.  The second 'everyday' card will be sent out within 6 weeks.

Numbers 101-150 will not receive a case and will receive their 'everyday' card within 6 weeks.

Still strange why they just didn't make 150 people happy, and only 100... at an event where you target 150 people...Sometimes I don't get those marketing boys and girls.
  • papluhpapluh Member Posts: 52
Maybe they had 100 planned and then were able to get 50 more. That is just taking 50 more of something made from warehouse. Unlike having to order 50 more of whatever one-of goodies they are giving out.

As long as it doesn't get added to the database I don't need it.

Cabs home are being laid on by LEGO to destinations within the M25, further afield if sharing.

    Giant LEGO Vader in store.

Get a picture with him when you win your Falcon.

The first 100 display cards will be worth a fortune. The falcon itself will be easy to get, but not those cards.

Found a use for my jumper - protects the MF cake from harm, so I can take it home to my wife (got to give her something for letting me out two nights in a row).

At the end of the day though its just a VIP card, now if it had been an exclusive minifigure with display then thats a completely different story........

Possible Space Slug set? Perhaps the free gift everyone gets from the prize draw apart from the big winners.
