What about public transportation station (subway, train, etc.)?
Both S17 (limit 32) and TLBM (limit 40) at $3.19 - TLBM is a better deal versus BrickLink prices, but both are about breakeven
#70910 at $15.99 is okay especially if you want the pizza parts. Ordered 2 of those, 2 40165 and 3 TLBM bags to get the cave couple.
@megthecat @madforlego
The weather didn't stand out last I went. It was busy, but not so crowded I couldn't move around (Eastview Mall store is relatively small with a narrow entrance)
Is there a problem with your vehicle A/C? Some days it's so hot it's painful to just go to and from the bus stop.
Double VIP points too, apparently.
Sales and Deals highlight is #40161 for $23.99. I want the woman doctor for my hospital MOC and forgot to save any from previous copies. solid part out ratio (about 2.5), high items per lot (so easy to sort and can offer high quantities), flap box that can be reused for storage, sold well before.
when I tried to apply VIP points, promos and free shipping disappeared from cart. I'll use points later rather than wait for it to get corrected.
Now #5004933 Build to Learn is added to cart with any order. Not worth as much for resale/parts but looks like a good gift for a kid just old enough for LEGO. 40161 is still on sales and deals. #40165 is back. 2 of those and a 40161 is just under $35. For me a TLNM CMF did add the poster to cart. I wasn't sure whether I wanted 2 more 40161 but I will do this.
Just looked at the October calendar
10th-25th 2x VIP on everything and a #40178 with a $125 purchase (mini model of a LEGO Store and VIP card)
All month #40266 on a $25 Friends purchase (~100 piece storage box) not a huge draw but I'm not the target market. Maybe I'll get one for an Xmas gift during 2x VIP if I'm close to $125
@JooTog seemed like a good guess on my part, but thanks for the correct answer.
Another example of how awesome Lego customer service is/can be: I did the order survey for my missing orders & the first question is "Did your order arrive?". After answering "NO" I was encouraged to contact CS, which I did through chat. After checking on the shipments from her end she decided to reship the orders, supposedly with all the promo items except for the MF posters. If and when the original shipments arrive I will be allowed to keep the promos & ship the sets back. Personally I would have preferred a kick-in-the-rear to Fed-Ex.
BTW, these orders are the ones I ordered for Force Friday. Fed-Ex is still behind because of Hurricane Harvey, although I see that @M_Boss seems to have received his order (lucky duck!). And my order for the #30428 is on the move, maybe because it was sent SmartPost.
TLBM CMF are on sale for $3.19, again. Me thinks their China plant made too many of these...
so 20% looks like it's on sale but it's what they want you to pay
But I dont think any company wants buyers to expect clearance for their products as a buying habit. ' Cuz that has been my mindset for the last few years.
This includes saleverything key chain (gingerbreadman $1.65) several $2 Christmas ornaments.
On a mobile device, I tried modifying quantity of my 4th item and no matter what I tried, it would only keep modifying the quantity of the first item. Had to give up and use a desktop to finally submit correctly.
My local Lego Store also had the seasonal Halloween, Thanksgiving, and two Christmas Sets.
