I know it's 3 pics instead of 2 but I guess for a 3 in 1 that's allowed (they're all small in resolution). Had fun with this little set, glad I put an order into Lego this month!
Uses some funky techniques for decoration outside, but the chairs are all a bit flimsy in my opinion, just about all using a single stud to sit on the floor...
... off to buy a dozen #60149...
And then I thought a racing TukTuk would fit in well too.
Luckily, the completed model is really good looking:
Due to the warm reception to my 75827 - Firehouse Headquarters (Mini Modular) I've decided to continue the series with another Mini Modular.
This week I started working on my 10230 - Mini Modulars interpretation of 70620 - Ninjago City from The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017). Full Reveal September 1st! (Which gives me enough time finalise the model and source the parts in time for the official launch date of the larger model).
Close, but no cigar - is this something CS would help me with or should I just try to forget this issue and ignore it? :)
I hesitated when I got it last year as I did not know it was minifigure-scale.
I really liked the build and look of the set; regret not getting another copy for the helicopter.
The engine cover at the back is really well engineered for the scale, and the whole thing looks really good despite the curves of the real car being impossible to represent perfectly in Lego form...
Certainly makes sure your stomach gets filled!
Just imagining what the Star Wars Universe would have been like before the invention of the repulsorlift.
Surprising number of colours in a mainly blue and white model! Of course, they're all inside...
And with the secret function in the set (don't open unless you want to know what these sets can do):
Apologies for the quality of the photos - I'm trying to keep them at a small size so they're not annoying to load.
Nice memento from the Fish Designer activity!
I have a good amount of the parts already. Placed a BL order for the rest.
....my daughter had other ideas and built it before I had a chance to get involved, though!
I would have liked to have been able to pick up the new colourful #21037 version, but this one will have to do until my next trip to Billund!
I have a feeling that some mirror image repetition of steps will be forthcoming very shortly...
Including extraneous detail as I know @SumoLego likes analysing these. Sorry it's not more interesting though.
As a game for the reader, spot the piece I got wrong and where it should be...
I still need to add the side pipes and printed tiles that the set came with. Those are in an incoming BL order.
