^ Definitely true.  I read it on the internet.  And @CCC happens to always be correct, as well.  So it's triple-true!

Exactly...it has "some" sweet rims. The owner must be on a layaway plan for the rest because they haven't added the upgraded rims for the back wheels yet.

They more likely salty.  (Given the proximity of the peanut.)

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-SDCC-2014-Azog-/192257318215?hash=item2cc36ddd47:g:Q10AAOSwu~ZZdo6w

    Description:

    The Lego 2014 SDCC Azog!

    This item includes:

•A rare Minifigure from San Diego Comic Con

    •Minifigure Only

    •Missing weapon/staff

I would maybe consider purchasing it, but the missing "staff" is a deal breaker.

Bought a action comics number 1 from that guy never disclosed it was a sample so it appears he's getting better about being honest

Haha! "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was lost or broken". That's what I got when I clicked on that link.

At the time of posting this 7 sold in under 1 hour
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/182689080888
It went from 5 to 7 sold in the 40 seconds it took me to Google r7-5wf. What are the odds this guy is buying his won stuff and what are the odds it works?
Edit: and it is up to 9 after posting this.
Edit #2: he did not accept an offer of $2.

I don't get it - that items now temporarily sold out.  Hasn't the seller just incurred at least $1800 in fees?  Has a competitor hijacked the account, listed a pile of overpriced stuff then bought it with dummy ID's to load up the seller financially?

Ehat exactly went on there and why? Theories?

Money laundering. Same goes for $10,000 Clone Trooper Battlepacks back in the day.

@MAGNINOMINISUMBRA The figure was exclusive for a group. The price was set high to discourage any non-members from buying. The seller told the group what price to offer in order for him to accept it. 5wf stands for 5tar Wars Fans

A starting price of £6K, with an undisclosed reserve:

....And, I thought the underside of #10221 was ugly!  A touch optimistic, perhaps?

I have a conspiracy theory that the person who provided the info to the seller is a anonymous AFOL from Area 51 where they allegedly store tons of Taj Mahals, UCS Millennium Falcons, Green Grocers.

I always suspected that aliens were just a cover story for the government to hide their massive stash of the most sought after LEGO sets.

We keep them with the Ark of the Covenant, Marcellus Wallace's briefcase, time-travelling murderbots, and case from Ronin.

Hypothetically, of course, if such a place existed.  Which it doesn't.

(Whew!  Almost blew my own cover.)

Not ridiculous but kind of scary. As someone who generally only buys used I was wondering how long until the knock-offs trickled down into used Lord. I was super excited at first but then I realized it was definitely too good to be true. Looked closely at the studs and none of them have lego.

Guys, do you want to be known as "the Idiot who sold his wife's marriage ring to afford 5197 pieces of plastic"? Then buy this!

P.S. I'll take care of the shipping for you :)

Oh wow!!   With the new Millennium Falcon coming out... that must mean the old one is worth MORE!!!    ..... or not!

Notice that the number of buyers of the older 10179 has tapered off.... but the "sales price" of the sellers has yet to kick in.....
