    According to TheBrickFan.com. the Scarif trooper poly will be available with purchase of 50 dollars or more at S@H US Sept 1-3rd I presume at the LEGO store as well.

    Found a box full of #30425 (bought a few) and #30522 (already had a few) at a local Walmart. No sign of #30402.

    ^Target by me usually has a girls (Friends) and a boys (City, Star Wars, Super Hero) polybag in the Halloween candy section. So they do have them.

    Found a pile of #30402 and #30425 in the Lego aisle at the Burnsville Walmart today.

    So Thebrickfan.com has confirmed that the #40268 R3-M@ are being spotted at TRUs for a August 26th street date for 5.99 per bag, but likely will be held closely by most TRUs in preparation for some kind of promo.

     Maplewood TRU had #30322 the Duplo Wildlife "blind" bag, #40167, #30277 First Order Star Destroyer, and #30278. They also had the Batman Cave Pod.
     But no #40268 R3-M? or Ninjago CMF.

    I think some TRUs have the #40268 behind the service counter, some probably have not gotten them yet, and maybe some others will not get them at all.
    I found them at one TRU in my area, and they were not supposed to sell them.

    That would be consistent with TRU policy - don't sell product when there is high demand.

    Instead, hide them until nobody wants them, and put 'em on clearance for $1.99 eight months from now.

    At my local Walmart, they had Friends #30402  Ninjago #30425 Wu's Training Grounds, and strangely enough, a box full of #30522 Batman in the Phantom Zone.   All $3.99 each.

    When they find out Lego has retired the product, the $5 TRU hike becomes a $10-15 bump!

    My TRU had the First Order star destroyer, duplo mystery bag and a few others, but NO TLBM battle pods! The cashier had someone check the back, but they were out.

    To this day, still never saw any of those battle pods even at 3 area TRUs.

    Saw Ninjago polys at my WM even though there were only two left; one was opened.

    Not bad for $3.97 and two minifigs...

    I visited 5 TRUs in my area when the Battle pod was available and 1 store I thought would have them did not get them in stock (at the time I went..first day of the promo) Not sure if they ever did get them in, BUT they did get the #40268, so not sure if the store said no they did not want them, or they 'fell off the truck' and someone had a sealed box of Battle pods now.

    So are people finding the R3-M2 at TRU now?  I usually have luck getting a store to sell the promo polys to me but I'll be out of town for a while starting the end of next week and would like to get one before I leave.

    So you may be able to schmooze one of these from a TRU if you explain that you will not be around for the promo. It all depends on the store to be honest, as I think they have to use an over ride code at the register to sell one.

    They've never needed to override anything to sell me a promo poly before but that was usually when the promo was live.

    Lately at Walmart that is how I've been seeing them, too.. with the shipping box front cut open and used as a retail "display" box on the shelf.

    ^ I can tell you that practice is not in the plan-o-gram, and if the store has retail merchandisers, they'll put a stop to that.

    LEGO is very particular about how their brand and product is displayed and sold.  Utilizing 'unsightly' shipping boxes is a definite no-no.

    yep, when they are in the cut out box they are screaming buck-a-bag! :)    Hanging on an end cap....ok, then maybe $3.97

    I'm sure @SumoLego is correct but Lego has posted a retail merchandiser position for the Bay Area for some time. Look at the territory they have to cover: Redwood City, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Morgan Hill, Salinas, Gilroy, and Santa Cruz. From Mid-Peninsula to over the mountains to far south of SJ, it's spread out. I guess it's hard to get someone to get paid so little and stuck in so much traffic.     Dozens of #30425 and #30402 along with a few other older bags at WalMart $3.97
    Got all 30425, great deal for a model and 2 figures. Even one mini often makes a polybag worth it.

    Looks like they cleaned it up a bit...same spot, eliminated the fancy cut-a-way boxes and added the racks

    They're all 'part-time' at 30 hours a week, but in the busy season between October and January, there is overtime.

    And you may get a yearly enefit-bay involving an iscount-day for roduct-pay.

    But that's a lot of driving and ground to cover.

    Found Ninjago #30379 and Star Wars #30497 at a Walmart in Maryland.  They had Ninjago CMF's, sets and polys in an aisle display.
