Fab weather on the south coast this afternoon. Stopped off briefly in Seaford on the way to Eastbourne after blowing my VIPs at the Brighton store.

@Legopants, you can't beat the south coast for it's beaches with absolutely no sand. They just don't do pebbles right where I live now. :)

Give me pebbles any time. I hate sand - ruddy stuff gets absolutely everywhere :-S

It's probably not the best indicator when one has no idea what is in five of six boxes stacked up in the corner...

The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets are everywhere and oh so enticing, alas I could only afford four of the CMFs and now they are demanding I purchase more. It is rather typical when a new CMF hits.

Picked up a few Lord of the Rings sets from a local bricklink vendor. It was awesome chatting and getting a great deal.

Went through TRU and Target earlier Saturday... and while the Boy and I both found lots to choose from, we walked out with NERF and Pokémon stuffs.

I really thought I'd come home with a new Marvel Super Heroes set or TLNM set, but alas, everything was 'meh' today. :|

Was very glad to see an offer accepted email for a used Speed Racer set off eBay when I got home, so at least I have that to look forward to. :D

    Long time no post.

    Feeling very Happy.

Went to the Lego event in Thornbury (Near Bristol) yesterday and came away with a shed load of Auction stuff, my wife was very competitive.

It was a great event and we also came away with lots of other Lego stuff we';d missed over the last year or some polybags and German Football figures.

Will defo go next time.  Plus will be attending the Lego auction in December run by East Bristol Auctions.

    @Legopants - Stunning!

One of these years I'm going to take a full 365 days and visit as many parks around the world as possible. The Earth is too beautiful to miss out on!

It is indeed a very picturesque part of the UK. Never been down to this stretch of the south coast before. Thanks to @LostInTranslation for recommending a visit to Country Park and a ramble down to the Haven :-)

@legopants - you're welcome! The walk down to Cuckmere Haven is indeed stunning.

I very much enjoyed my trip to the area two years ago and glad to hear you're having a good time too.
And you're not having too many mishaps as yet ;-)

Another glorious day on the East Sussex coast (need to make the best of it coz I think it's gonna be wet tomorrow and Wednesday).
Spent a few hours in Eastbourne today - a stroll along the promenade and pier.

Totally confused as to whether I'm still supposed to be all about TLBM or moving focus to TLNM so to appease the Lego Movie gods I built #70588 Titanium Ninja Tumbler as I figured it sort of covers both bases.

I was in Wareham (Dorset, UK) visiting family at the weekend and the toy shop there had 4 Lone Ranger #79107 Comanche Camp sets on the shelf at RRP. Very strange to see them there, unloved and unwanted. I almost bought one out of pity.

Ah the perils of having a collector's brain...

One of my top priorities (probably my top one honestly) when it comes to LEGO is collecting all Marvel minifigs (Comic Con releases aside). If I don't count the ones in the newest sets I haven't purchased yet, I'm missing one according to Brickset/Bricklink...

    SH113 - Venom - From #10665

He shares the same three parts as SH055 from Spider-Cycle Chase, but is listed as a different minifig. Maybe due to the added parts that make up the SH055 one.

So part of me wants the "missing" Venom because he is listed separately. But part of me doesn't because he's not really a different minifig.

    Sigh. The struggle is real.

Do not fight with yourself. There would not be a struggle if you had the "missing" minifig, so just go and get it. It is the easiest path :-)

(you know that's what you wanted to hear)

But I can't get just him because how can I guarantee he came from the right set? I can't. So the set (sealed) must be purchased. And there's the collector's decision-making cycle summed up...

    I don't need it...
    ...to...
    I need it...
    ...to...
I need more than just it to ensure that the it I need is the real it...
    ...to...
    I now own it.

^And after that thirst is quenched, you will be compelled to start a new quest for something else you didn't think/know you needed.

Color me impressed with the quality of LEGO prints... taking into account that @Legopants minifigure must be washed 3-4 times daily and is occasionally exposed to salt water and sand.

^^ Reminds me of when he created a run on the Taj Mahal a few years back.  LEGO ought to consider him for a spokeperson/endorsement.

@iso3200 - We went to the Sovereign Fish Bar, 38 Beatty Rd, Eastbourne BN23 6EG. Doesn't look much from the outside and it's not central, but the fish&chips etc. were extremely good :-)

Was in London for work today and just happened to be 10 minutes from Leicester Square. For once there was no queue outside! Got a free Friends storage box, passport and birthday gift. Also picked up the really cool Guardsman pick-a-model they had in store, pre packed so no rummaging through bins on the wall!

Also on a LEGO front my daughter has decided on a brick themed 7th birthday party. Going with bridge building workshop she went to recently. Now trying to hunt out party bag ideas that won't break the bank.

Spent a few hours in Holywell at the western end of Eastbourne. Stayed very warm and sunny despite the ominous looking clouds in the distance.

No English breakfast, ice cream or fish and chips today - had to make do with a pile of smelly seaweed (and, yes, Legopants will deffo be taking a bath later).

spending my free time this week on getting my lego dimensions save file back to ware it was before it got corrupted on me.

just finished all year one game level's to 100%.
still have all the adventure worlds (years 1 and 2) to do. the only thing i don't need to do on the adventure worlds is get the red brick's.
and i also have yet to start on the year 2 game levels.

i do still need to buy.
    1 Level pack "goonies".
1 Fun pack "Lloyd Gold Ninja".
    1 Story Pack "Ghostbusters".
the 2 polybag "Green Arrow" and "Super Girl". (i am not paying 20 f-ing Pound each for them! so i may not end up getting them.)
    and all of wave 9.

i have found that i will use a mini fig when i need whatever skill to unlock stuff.
it's funny i spend about 15 mins. setting up the fig's in nice order, so it more easy to find some one. but by the time i am finished for the day there all mixed up again lol

anyhow content from here on is almost all un-played by me before.
but not today. i have had my fill of smashing Pixel Lego Bricks for today.

Confused over why my Amazon package traveled from Pennsylvania to Rockford, IL (okay with this part) and then, instead of going an hour east to where I live in Illinois, it went 2 hours NE into Wisconsin, where it remains.
