    At Bloomington, I also found these nice melamine serving trays for $6 in the clearance aisle. They look like a great building surface, so I bought two. I hope the lip isn't too tall.

    I know they aren't crazy deals but grabbed the Tie Striker for $40 and Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle for $69 both on clearance.

    Yeah, the WalMart app helps, but there have to be good deals to find.
    My store did have some in clearance aisle as well as lego aisle but no luck

    Went ahead and picked up Poe's X-Wing for $49 and Krennic's Shuttle for $64.  I don't think are crazy deals, but they are cheaper than I saw other places online.

    Also grabbed Captain Rex's AT-TE for $69.  Saw a shelf sticker at another store for $59 but they were out :-(

    These dropped to $9 at my closest store, but the three that were there over the weekend (at $35) were gone when I got there just a little while ago.  I did get the Constraction Shoretrooper for $7.50 though.

    I saw the #66546 packs online for the $25 and change, but just could not pull the trigger on them. I have one and I think that is enough.

    When I was in NJ a few days ago the store had a shelf full of the #66546, all for retial price, $44 or something.  They also had a Captain Rex AT-TE for $69, just could not pull the trigger.

    Picked up the Batcave Break in for $59 and Skuttler for $49. I was on a Walmart hunt and went to 5 different Walmarts before I found these. Still looking for the Ultimate Batmobile.

    Still can't find the skuttler even though brickseek said there in my area. Guessing rhe systems off.

    Livermore show there is 4 for bat cave,  but it could be wrong inventory number,  like last time San Leandro show there are 4 Ultimate Batmobile but when i got there, none was seen  I bought one at another San Leandro Store,  but the box has a hole and i m still thinking if i would keep it!

    OK so there is a TLBM Ultimate Batmobile for $99.  I know I'd be saving $40, but does anyone predict a better deal coming along for this?  Just curious as I plan my lego purchases carefully.  Thanks!

    IMO Not by much but I agree, it will probably be at least that price at some point around BF.
    Then again 30% off oh higher is not out of the question on that one I think

    I think that $99 is too good to pass up on the set at this point in time, as who knows if Walmart will even bring in new stock?  I managed to find one today at a local store(Red Bank Rd in Cincinnati-they still had one left)and grabbed it as well as Clayface Splat Attack for $21.  Thank you to the fellow Bricksetters that were going to help me @KingAlani @Bumblepants @Mak0137 I really appreciate it.

    Walmart is not the only store selling it. If Amazon has them I expect them to get down to at least where Walmart had them, even if only a brief time, and I do not have to run around looking for them on sale at one Walmart and hope they are still there when I get to the store.

    This is true, Amazon usually does follow suit from time to time.  Hopefully that will be the case.

    Found Rathtar Escape for $54 and Batcave Break-in for $59 in store. 

    Deals can can be found on Amazon but you have to be vigilant. I've missed out waiting for a better deal in the past

    My general rule, especially with Wal-Mart is if it at least 30% off of a set that I want anyway, buy it and keep the receipt. If you manage to find it cheaper, you can easily return to Wal-Mart within 90 days.

    My guess is come around BF up until Christmas I see Amazon, and other stores, having A LOT of discounts given how many have been seen so far this year, and even last year around that same time.

    You first have to manage to find it for 30%+ off at a Walmart first. For many of us, it is not easy to do, whether it be stores that do not put in on sale, do not clearance it by much, or already have resellers in the area that grab those deals (as they apparently have nothing better to do than drive around to Walmart's all day and night looking for deals). At least with Amazon, while you may have to be johnny on the spot (which in many ways is no different than trying to find such deals in actual stores), at least I can do it from my home or even phone, at since Amazon is pretty good about limits and enforcing them, you like will still have it easier than trying to find the Walmart with them (again, for many of us). I only have to use bandwidth, not gas and wear and tear on my vehicle.

    ^^ This is an excellent plan.  I do it all the time if I know it's a great deal and don't want to miss out.  Personally  I'm checking ultimate batmobile daily for next drop (can simply use the app). My store currently has several.

    My comment was more directed at anyone asking if a certain set is a deal or not. 30% off on a set you want is decent.

    I keep passing by the City Volcano stuff, right at about 50% off, just not sure if I'm digging it or not. I mean you just mine the lava blobs? Not sure if my kid will find that interesting but I hate passing up deals.

    Just snagged #75139 Battle on Takodana for $15.  Wasn't interested in it at all when it was crazy priced.  Also went ahead and grabbed #60124 the volcano exploration base for $59.  Loving me some walmart right now.

    In addition to sporadic clearance prices, what I've found is some savvy Walmart shoppers or employees buy up the heavily discounted items and return them, sans receipt at another store. That happens a lot around me.

    I think you can only return things without a receipt like once or twice per calendar at Wal-mart

    Not to mention, they probably swipe your ID and store the info internally (re: items and frequency of returns).
