Hey all, I guess you'd call me an AFOL, but I finally found something that myself and both my wife and 5 year old daughter can all enjoy in Lego.  We were stuck in a rut where we had our heads buried in our phones and tablets when we weren't out and about outside.  Now we all head to the store, pick out sets, pull out a table and all build together.  Having some great times.

We don't have any crazy sets yet, or UCS sets (though they're on my list), but we're really into Star Wars, Friends and Elves themes.  Going to attend our first Lego convention type deal in October.

Just happy to jump into this again after being out of the Lego world since I was a kid.  So far, I can tell this site has a huge amount of information which should come in handy.

Welcome! So fun you can all three enjoy the same hobby.

In our family it's mostly me and my son, my husband builds a little bit, but mostly I'm grateful he lets me spend money on the sets ;)
    Welcome @Hanzo
Its always nice to see whole families dragged happily into the @Hanzo

So, are you a fan of the late Muromachi period, Pulp Fiction or an Overwatch player?

Kill Bill character Hattori Hanzo fan.
Hahaha - I typed Pulp Fiction instead of Kill Bill.  The fact that I could remember that Hattori Hanzo (the real life ninja who the Kill Bill character is an homage to) lived in the late Muromachi period yet I managed to mix up the actual Tarantino movie should only be taken as further proof that I really need to stop mixing Bourbon and Brickset!
