    Looks good!

Do you have extra studs on the inside edge of the table behind the buildings?  When I started my city, I widened the sidewalks.

Like the gas station.  A modular-scale one is on my list.

Thanks!  I do have some room behind the modulars, I thought about widening the sidewalk but that throws off the spacing when you factor in the corner buildings, and while there is some room to compensate for that on each side (currently being used as alleys) I actually like the way it scales out with the non modular buildings and giving me the space to fit in the rail line behind them.  I also can just barely fit a hidden rail line behind the modulars to store extra train cars!  The gas station is just a decked out #60132 Service Station.  I havent finished the paved area around it, but you can get the general idea.  I am debating tearing up the gas station when the Ninjago city modular comes out.  Its a must buy for me, but I am not quite sure it will fit into my city.  Will have to see!

Yes, the exact stud counting was tricky.  I ended up designing a non-automobile extra-wide sidewalk to the apartments (from the Pet Shop) to correct the spacing between the corner modulars.  And I doubled-up on the Grand Emporium as a cheat.  And put my Town Hall with greenspace on either side with a knee-wall.

Nothing is as fun as ordering 1000 2x2 gray tiles and still running out.  (I am still holding out hope that those will appear on the PaB wall someday!)

Going to build some of my Architecture sets (Louvre, Buckingham, and Eiffel). Finished The White House and am hooked. No MOCs yet but I saw this link on FB and feel inspired.

Eiffel Tower is one of the most fun build. I need to get Louvre and Buckingham.

I finished getting Assembly Square moved over onto my city baseplates, was a bigger pain than I thought, I had basically lifted off as much of the bottom floor in one piece as I could with the (naive) idea that I could just plop it back down once all the hundreds of intricate floor/sidewalk plates had been moved over.  Getting everything to line back up and actually drop back in took about half an hour and required a partial rebuild of the main floor.  But in the end, looks pretty good!  Too bad its on the side of the layout that faces a wall so you cant enjoy its full majesty.  In a distant future, in a new, bigger house, this layout will be in the middle of the floor so you can walk all around it.  Definitely did not end up with enough room behind this for a spur rail line.

That is nice!  I have to admit, while I love being able to let the trains just run in a circle, I feel like with Lego, unless you have an absurd amount of space, end to end layouts like yours are more practical, interesting and easier to access.  Is the gray painted fascia flush with the table top or slightly raised above the base plates?  I haven't installed any sort of fascia yet, mainly because I used giant bolts to fasten the legs on and have figured out how to work around those yet.  In hind sight, maybe i will just swap them out for screws.

Been working on this model on LDD for a couple weeks and it's finally feeling close to finished. Some kind of cyborg girl.

I've been going back to a couple of my old sets. Turned out quite well, with no pieces missing from the #6931 FX Star Patroller, and only 4 pieces missing from the #6872 Xenon X-Craft:

After moving and having my Lego in storage for nearly 2 years, I'm finally starting to rebuild and reimagine my Lego city. I am trying to decide what to do with the tables. I have 2, and I can't decide to make two separate layouts (one being the main downtown and one focused on an amusement park and rural homes, or somehow combine the tables into one bigger layout. (That sheet of wood lays across the white table to create more area.) Thoughts?
I'm in exactly the same conundrum; to build 1 large area (which will basically be too large to allow for proper play), or to split it in a City and an Outskirts/Coastal area. Therefore, I'll be following your progress closely!

    @tfranklin84 You're setup is sooooo cooooool!!! :D

Thanks! This is the first time I've had enough room to plan out how I want my layout, which is pretty exciting.

^ They are in the microwave being unfrozen ;-)

Actually a sausage and bun were one of the first things I put apart, but by the time I was happy with the modifications and took the picture I forgot about them. Was going to include a minifig for scale also. Next time.

Giving myself a break from trying to build a 2500+ part build from LDD instructions. Not having used it in any great capacity it can be somewhat frustrating especially when it tells you to put a small built assembly of parts into the centre of a built section of bricks.

So, as all things Lego Batman are awaiting to be pushed aside by The Ninjago Movie sets, I  thought I'd revitalise my Batman mojo and break out the proper Ultimate Batmobile.

Haven't got very far. In fact I didn't even get to finish putting together all the bag 1's, even with the help from what has got to be my favourite version of the Joker. I get the feeling this may take me a while but I think I'm going to enjoy the wait to the finished build. :)

Decided to have some continued fun of mixing all the bags together. Greatly looking forward to what the GBHQ has to offer.

Initially meant to just add some spotlights or something to spice up the very plain front, but since I had the Bat Dune Buggy on the table anyway, I figured I'd work on it a bit more:

The new front blocks the stud shooters from firing, and while I'm not bothered by that in itself I'm not entirely sold on how the armour looks, so it may change. That's one of the new gattling shooters on the back standing in for a thruster - the studs-on-side brick beneath it keeps the barrels from rotating, so it doesn't accidentally fire.

Been on a Star Wars kick the past few nights. Built #75153 Saturday, and #75183 last night.

I was impressed with the AT-ST, although I wish the legs had some movement. I'm guessing that would have caused some stability issues though.

Darth Vader's Transformation has some nice play features, but I 100% admit my interest in the set was due to the figs.

I did find a flame piece along the way and considered it, but the buggy's going to be parked in my Batcave, not in use, so the rocket's just idling.

So I was feeling sorry for my Justice League, standing around on their plain black bases while the Avengers have New York to pose in front of (Daily Bugle, Avengers Tower, Brooklyn Bridge, and my homemade Baxter Building, it's a nice little scene) so I thought I'd make them something Super Friendly:

Based on the old Kenner Super Powers Hall of Justice, filtered through the usual process of using whichever pieces were convenient (spot the one I couldn't find a duplicate of and gave up because it's getting late... it'll turn up sooner or later).

I bit the bullet and went for one big area.
    Before:

    Now:

Took my old 180x80cm desk and used it as "legs" for the new 250x175cm layout.

up next: finding time to set up the legos and get more legos to fill it all out :)

It sure ain't pretty from the back...

...but it's doing what it needs to do.  The interior's going to be getting a general overhaul as well, I just wanted to get this locked down before I got lost in details inside.

If you get discouraged with the build after spending two hours on bag 1, and plan to throw it away, I'll take it.

    And done:

Illogical design, but whatever, it's more in the vein of 'scenic base' than a proper building; given all the minifigs milling around on my Marvel New York shelf I'd always had the Sanctum set up on stilts to lift it into clear view, but previously it was literally just up on stilts (a few of those girder-column pieces), which I'd had to hide at ground level with a smaller building in front (the Homecoming ATM kiosk recently).  In memoriam, the old version of the Architecture Guggenheim gave its life so I'd have enough tan bricks to finish the facade, while the sandy green suggestion of the roof up top came from a Monster Hunters car (which I'd been looking for an excuse to dismantle anyway).  And if you have this set you'll know that over on the left, beneath the trunk, is where the 'Shamballa' card is, so that's where I put the wifi.

Took a #60047 and shrunk it down and made it modular. It was too wide and we had run out of room on our little Lego street so I made it fit a regular baseplate.

As usual, ran out of parts. My 5 year-old likes it though.

Added a Modular-style pavement base to #76005 Daily Bugle, and took the opportunity to add a reception desk to the ground floor and move the first floor's furniture around so the art board is visible through the windows rather than facing away.  I'll be adding a similar pavement (and I think a couple of bricks' height of 'foundation' to Avengers Tower, and then I think rebuilding the Baxter Building from the ground up, maybe with the Homecoming ATM kiosk as part of the ground floor, haven't decided yet.

Not...the...end of the WORLD Ragnarok...but the...oh never mind.

    And to the LEGO sets.

All these amazing builds...and I built...this...LOL. Didn't bother to nameplate it. Thinking of making some more and doing a larger backdrop like one of those Kenner Early Bird backdrops. Something where I could put a group of 12 minifigs.

Building Fire Brigade - my first modular. I told myself I wasnt going to get into modulars as I knew what would happen... I NOW WANT THEM ALL!
Good first choice, that one remains my favotite, followed by Pet Shop...
Parisian Restaurant.  Thoroughly enjoyable build.  The restaurant kitchen blew my mind.
