At Kruidvat, a Dutch chain of drugstores (drogisterijen) they have the following deal:
    https://www.kruidvat.nl/a/2868/lego-en-playmobil-2e-halve-prijs?sort=score

Buy two sets get the second for half price, and they usually sell all their sets below RPP, so the discount you get is more than 25%
Most Microfighter are priced at €8, which means you can score two microfighter sets for €12, if you buy them at Lego [email protected] they are €10 each. etc. etc.

The new City pizza van #60150 is €17,49 instead of €19,99 (at Lego [email protected], and other retailers). SW battle packs are also cheaper there etc.

Thanks, quite a few interesting sets are out of stock (#60150 and #70591 for instance) but I did order 2x #42058 Stunt Bikes and some #41307 and #41308's for the birthday party present stock.

I don't know in which bar, under the sea you live, but chances are if you go to an actual store (granted that there is one close to you) you may find those sets, which are online out of stock, still on the shelf. I always just go to one of their shops. When I went there yesterday, they still had a couple of pizza vans, even though online those were already no longer available.

Unfortunately the Kruidvat nearby is quite small and the quality has gone down the drain over the last few years, @TheBigLegoski .They used to stock a decent selection of smaller set originally that then ended up heavily discounted every six months. Last time I visited - to pick up an order of the previous time their BOGOHO offer was on - they had less about five different sets in stock, mainly old Nexo Ultimates and the smallest Friends sets with a small animal only, no minidoll. They have about 3m shelf space dedicated to toys, mainly cheap chinese crap.

There's no rush, I'm quite confident I'll pick be able up #60150 for a good price at some point.

OT: I live in Ghent/Gent when not travelling. That bar under the sea is not a real, but a place I really like ;)

Your link gives a '404 Not found'
I always just thought you were/are a huge Sponge Bob fan, at least whenever I read your 'In a bar, under the sea' it reminds me of that cartoon series.
    Anyway: Gent is mooi!

Link is missing a colon :)

The fairly large Kruidvat in Leuven doesn't have a big selection of Lego either, a lot less than what's on the web site...

Auchan Luxembourg has all Wave 1-7 Dimensions Fun Packs down to EUR 5, Team and Level Packs are EUR 10.
    Wave 8 is RRP.

^Many thanks @stlux. Visited Auchan LU today on my way back from Germany and got me 11 fun packs, 6 team packs and one level pack to add to the collection.

Colons are important indeed ;). It's not a reference to Spongebob.  Although I definitely don't dislike Spongebob - I do like it - there are other cartoons I like even more like Ren & Stimpy (shows my age) and Uncle Grandpa (to be enjoyed together with my eldest). It's one of the things I like about LEGO - you can play out some very bizarre scenarios when mixing sets from different lines. I am a huge fan of the movie your user name references however, @TheBigLegoski.

I also picked up my web order from the Kruidvat in the next village. Their LEGO selection is now slimmed down to Duplo #10850 and some Friends set I don't recall the set number of. Was very happy with the excellent packaging for my web order though.

Unfortunately it's a bit far away for me, I'd love me some sonic minifig... Is it open on sunday and how far away from Spa Francorchamps is the nearest store :D

@sid3windr There's currently only 1 Auchan in Luxembourg (2 more opening in the mid-future), on the Kirchberg plateau in town. >1,5 hrs drive from Spa-Francorchamps, and only on special occasions (pre-Christmas etc) open on Sunday.

Always happy to get you the Sonic Level Pack and arrange for some handover at a later date, e.g. Aug 25 or Planckendael's Nature Connects expo ;)

Cactus in Luxembourg has #70323 Jestro's Volcano Lair for EUR 60; that's pretty close to the lowest this set has ever been.

Fun has -15% on all Lego until June 25. Some sets have an even bigger discount: #70751 Temple of Airjitzu is now EUR160. Possibly the cheapest ever in Europe?
@sid3windr The temple would go very well with #70620 NINJAGO City ;)

I hate you. Great price! It's a match with the Oberhausen "spercial" price. I was kind of planning to buy it there at the end of the year, but I don't know how long it will stay in stores still?
  • KerreKerre Member Posts: 411
^Don't shoot the messenger ;) That's a very nice price for #70751 but I'm not in the market for a second one. Fair point you raise sid3windr - with the new Ninjago Movie sets coming out there is a risk of #70751 retiring 2H2017.

My 2 cents on #70751 Temple of Airjitzu retiring in the not-too-distant future:

Pro: There have been deep discounts on this set in the US, and it has been sold out over there since over a month. It might only be hanging on here in Europe because it's not very popular and nobody is buying it. (And I'm saying this as somebody who thinks this set looks great and has bought one!)
Also not sure whether Ninjago can sustain 2 D2C sets - both larger than the average D2C!

Contra: [email protected] US has started with the H2 Retiring Soon wave (40 sets so far), and no Retiring Soon label was smacked on #70751. The release of the Ninjago movie might also generate some renewed interest in the set. The EUR300 D2C is too expensive? Buy the EUR200 one instead ;)

Another promo: Auchan in Lux has started the summer sales. not much Lego yet, except these 2:
    • #60124 Volcano Exploration Base 50% off its EUR 99.99 RRP
    • #75148 Encounter on Jakku 50% off its EUR 76.90 RRP
    Kerre
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
@stlux I take it back, I don't hate you but I love you.

I didn't realize but the discounts stack. So it's 15% discount on the 30% discounted Temple, net result is it's 136€. Would have bought it for 160€. The cashier was surprised and said that was a great price. I couldn't agree more at 41% discount. Fairly sure that IS the lowest price in Europe so far.

I didn't have time to turn around for a second one but I'm very much pondering ordering one online right now...

ps @snowhitie they have CMF17 at Fun, I didn't have time/skills for a butterfly girl but if you are up for a trip to Korbeek-Lo I'm sure you can get your missing one :)

Temple of Airjitzu sold out online at fun.be but it's ok - the website doesn't stack the discounts :-) I'll let fate decide and will check again tomorrow to see if they still have any left at the store.
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
^^ thanks for letting me know.

I think that must have been a fluke about the discount stacking, fun is usually very very strict about it. Good for you though :)

    They didn't indeed...
  • CoviCovi Member Posts: 334
I can confirm @@sid3windr : in the shops you get the additional 15% discount on top of the discounted price for the temple making it a real bargain which is mine now. :-)

    stluxsid3windr
  • KerreKerre Member Posts: 411
I'm surprized the discount stacked as well., Fun typically does not apply extra general discounts (All Lego 15% off) if the set is on offer typically ("this set x% off") but the discount typically does stack with lowered prices (Fun price lower than RRP). YMMV of course, as the 136€ shows. In my local Fun #31047 Creator propeller plane was priced at 14.99€ (RRP=19.99€); I got the extra 15% off.

Looks like #70751 sells out fast at that price indeed. Online stock gone by 3pm; remaining store stock must be disappearing rapidly as well. My experience is that Fun store stock indicated on the website is often unreliable; sometimes because of inventory issues but in the Sint-Denijs-Westrem one bargains are often moved back to the store room for people calling in to reserve stock on the shelves. In any case, the set is now flagged as retired and no longer available. Seems Fun is not planning to get extra inventory....

  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
They did indicate "op=op" on it. There were 6 left in Korbeek-Lo at 2pm, I'll have a looksie tomorrow what's left :)
  • CoviCovi Member Posts: 334
@ Lokeren they had still 4 sets at around 5pm.
  • HenkdeVriesHenkdeVries Member Posts: 100
For anyone in or near Breda, a-tembo is moving all of their stock from Breda to their new big store in Wagenberg, and they are offering 20% discount on ALL SETS on Saturday 24 June in the Breda Store, including new sets and specials. First come, first serve it seems, and no reservations possible.

The store there is pretty small, but I recall it is stocked to the roof with sets, so if you are still looking for a UCS or something else, you might get lucky!
Unfortunately I cannot go myself. :(

1+1 free on Lego Dimensions at Bart Smit.

Not a lot of choice on the web shop, but I do note the Wii U starter pack is 28€ which I believe is quite a good price - and it's not marked as promotion. I'll go take a gander in the brick&mortar store tomorrow, I think...

Maxi Toys in Belgium offering a free polybag set with a €15 spend on Lego.
    stlux
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
@sid3windr EUR28 is rather good for the starter pack; lowest I recall is EUR25. Just make sure to have enough external disk space for your Wii U, as Dimensions regularly has 10GB+ updates ;)

For the MaxiToys promo (also valid in Lux) @Aleydita highlighted, the polybags on offer are #30352 Police Car, #30324-0 Duplo My Town, #30496 U-Wing Fighter, #30401 Pool Foam Slide and #30377 Motor Horse.
Looks like you cannot choose which poly to get, but one is randomly added to your basket.

Intertoys seems to run the same promo. (they are both owned by Blokker after all)

TRU FR offers a Friends themed beach towel with any Friends purchase of EUR25 or more. Valid until July 16.
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
I don't have a Wii U yet (pondering on getting one, for Dimensions and Guitar Hero Live, maybe Mario Kart + its Wii backward compatibility). Does it take regular USB HDDs as storage? Then that'll be no problem ;) Thanks for the tip.

Collishop also has the starter pack at 28€ - I remember it being 25 so 28 is pretty close. Guess they are dropping the Wii U one as the PS/XB ones are still 60+ :-)
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
@sid3windr The EUR25 promo was valid for the other platforms as well; bought it for the Xbox One myself ;)

The Wii U's storage can indeed be expanded with a USB HDD. Either one with a separate power supply, or use a USB Y-cable to connect to 2 USB ports on the Wii U to draw enough power.
My Wii U is a dedicated Mario Kart machine :) You could of course also buy a Switch to play Mario Kart, but no Dimensions on that console...
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
I have a Wii, and I pretty much only play Guitar Hero on it, and some Mario Kart now that my daughter is starting to reach the age she can enjoy it.

So I thought, if I get a Wii U now that the Switch is out, I'll get a new(er) MK, can do Dimensions (boo, why no PC version?) and a new(er) Guitar Hero Live, while not spending too much on a new console (although Wii U pricing is still quite high unfortunately).

Externally powered 1TB HDD is at the ready (My Wii also has one attached)

Thanks for the info (spinoff Gamer thread here:o)

Dreamland/Collishop is trying to clear its remaining inventory of #70323 Jestro's Volcanic Base for € 59,95. RRP of this recently retired set was a whopping 129,99 € over here in Belgium.

Webshop only price and only 5 items remaining so unlikely the price will be reduced any further like the Black Mech and Jestro's Evel Mobile earlier - both those sets could be had for 25 € a while ago but are now sold out.

If you're not close to Luxembourg and/or if there are gaps in your collection, Dreamland/Collishop also reduced almost all Dimensions sets they carry. For some reason some sets are not reduced or reduced just a bit (Back to the Future is 26,95 €, Legolas and Stay Puft at RRP). Selection is quite good. Unreleased set are RRP.
    • Fun packs are 7,95 €. This includes the recent Batman, Hermione and City/Chase McCain. It's also a good price for #71216 Nya and #71285 Marceline, two of my personal favourites.  Jay, Benny, Unikitty, Emmett, Gollum, Knight Rider, A-Team and Gollum also available
    • Team packs for 12,95 €: #71207 Ninjago, #71246 Adventure time, #71247 Harry Potter amongst others
    • Level packs for 14,95 € (Goonies, Ghostbusters, Midway Arcade, Adventure Time, Sonic, Mission Impossible
    • Story Packs are 21,95 € (TLBM, Fantastic Beasts, New Ghostbusters)
On a related note, the completionist in me is starting to rationalize purchase of the Ghostbusters Level pack as the parts could be used for a Ninjago MOC.

Fancy a  #75158 Rebel Combat Frigate for 67,98 €? Toysrus.nl has #75158 Rebel Combat Frigate for 79,98 €. They're also having 15% off when buying three items across a large part of their range - so not only LEGO or even toys, but bikes, clothes and bedroom furniture as well and  when you buy 3 of them. The 15% off is today only.

The 79,98 EUR price and 15% off stack and there are lots of 1-2 EUR items to choose from to get the price further down. I added a couple of Hot Wheels tracks for 0.93 each after discount. Shipping is € 1.95 so total for a  #75158 Rebel Combat Frigate + the Hot Wheels tracks is 67,98 € delivered!

Also this weekend at Fun.be: 15% off across the City and Friends ranges. Couldn't find interesting deals there though.

Similar to MaxiToys and Intertoys, Cactus in Luxembourg is offering a poly with every Lego purchase.

Unfortunately no good offers to combine it with. Only decent promo is #75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle for EUR 60, matching the current Amazon DE price.

Quite some of those promo sets at Auchan have been cleaned out. @Kerre Did you pass through Luxembourg this week? ;)

Some still left though, and a few more added. I identified
    • #75157 Captain Rex's AT-TE for EUR 67.45
    • #75147 StarScavenger for EUR 33.45

Also 50% off some of the Creative Boxes, both Classic and Duplo. And #10577 Big Royal Castle. For those looking for retired Duplo sets ;)

    In other Benelux news:
20% of all Lego at TRU NL and TRU DE when spending EUR 40 or more. This includes the exclusives they have, e.g. #75060 Slave I and #70912 Arkham Asylum.
(TRU NL ships to Belgium for EUR 1.95. TRU DE charges EUR 5.95 for postage to Belgium.)

Maxitoys has a buy 1, get a 2nd set at 50% off promo. Friends until Aug 13, City between 14 and 27 August.

Both Intertoys and Maxitoys still have the promo where you get a free polybag when spending EUR 15 or more.

Some nice discounts at Cactus this week:
    • About 50-66% off all DC Super Hero Girls sets. That means EUR 50 for #41239 Eclipso Dark Palace and EUR 40 for #41232 Super Hero High School. The smaller sets are now EUR 5/10/15, depending whether their RRP is EUR 15/25/30.
    • #70594 The Lighthouse Siege for EUR 40
    • #75139 Battle on Takodana, #75148 Encounter on Jakku and #75171 Battle on Scarif for EUR 30
    • #75149 Resistance X-wing Fighter for EUR 40
Apart from the buy 1 City set, get a 2nd set at 50% off promo at Maxitoys, they also have 30% off most TLBM sets.

If you prefer to go to Dreamland instead of Maxitoys (can't blame you), they seem to run the same TLBM promo.
