I must be the only one but I absolutely dislike the big printed pieces that have made their way into starwars sets. To print a piece for some small text in modular is great (like the windows in detectives office) but I hate it when they use print to add structural elements to a building brick like they did with several starwars sets (some hatches have them) Then I rather have stickers as you can at least omit them. Nothing can hide the plain ugliness of big printed lego pieces:(
Next time just plaster a big 'FAKE BOX IMAGE' all over the picture to prevent confusion and 'abuse'.
Anyway, if you check 75192 on brickset it now says 'lego exclusive' and 'Ultimate Collector Series'. So a little bit more confirmation!
Can't wait.
What happened, not as much interest in MFs all of a sudden? Or was it the mention of the Lego police suspending accounts that scared everyone off?
Reminds me of a group of kids up to no good laughing and joking, then 1 of their mom's comes over and smacks 1 of them in the head, and lays into him with the type of lecture that made him wish he didn't leave the house that morning. No more talking, no more smiling, everyone slowly backing away. Lol.
So yea, I AM rather curious about #75192 now...
Same lack of information, a lot more smarmy, and no fun.
Ewok shadow puppets!
I don't understand some people. If you have news, share it. If you don't have any or cannot, then don't. Why do some people feel the need to slowly tease everyone?
(Oh, wait. Am I confusing my British references?)
It's the Internet. It breeds people like this almost as an afterthought.
nothing to see here
I'd love to see macaroni slopes of various sizes from macaroni cheese :) through the various inclines up to ones that would fit with the 3684 3 tall slopes, all for the purposes of improving how well parts of the Falcon could be realized. They'd be nice to have for space builds in general, and whilst I doubt we'll get them with the next release, I want to be able to discuss the potential for these and any new parts (in use or otherwise) in relation to this and any other unconfirmed set release.
I do have one more question for you guys: I know it's an old "rumor" by now, but I've been editing this pic of the MF from the "Rathtar Escape" box. I've been comparing it to the movies and I'm not quite sure whether or not this one is supposed to resemble the MF from the new movie or the set we are waiting for. This one looks studless and all but there is a chance tho.
For example, this TIE fighter is clearly OT, as we have Vader on the packet:
So this one must be EP I:
But this one is Ep II / clone wars
And these are all the same set!
'Everything will change once the 2018 SW thread will come out'.
How come that Eurobricks is more popular than let's say this forum? Serious question. From my understanding Brickset is the most used site when it comes to information, but EB is always mentioned when people talk about a forum. Is it because this part of the site looks like it's stuck in 2010 (personal opinion, don't mind it that much)? If Brickset can make some sort of overlap with the news/collection part of the site than you can have the most complete Lego fansite anyone can wish for.
Not UCS Falcon related news, but a list of new SW sets has just been posted on Eurobricks.
The main one of interest to me is Yoda's hut......
