    Checking this thread reminded me to check the July calendar
    2x VIP on everything 1st-4th
    #40251 Piggy Bank (brick built animal) 10th-31st with $75 purchase
    Be one of the 1st 80 people to spend $75 in store 1st-16th and register for a Wonder Woman BrickHeadz build night sometime 17th-31st. First time I've seen a build even for adults only rather than kids only. I could feasibly get out there on the 1st to be eligible, but whether I could get to the build night depends on when Eastview Mall has it. I haven't gotten into BrickHeadz, but this might be a chance to try them. I'm not sure what I'd spend $75 on, but PaB and in store sales might give me more options than the website.

    The order arrived with no bag. I've e-mailed LEGO and they said it was a misprint in the Canadian calendar. The code for us up here should have been JUIN, not JUNE. They apologized and express shipped the missing bag right away, though. Great customer service.

    Does anyone want to hazard a guess for how much longer the Ghostbusters HQ will be available? I keep putting it off but I don't want to miss out. I figure July's double points is as good as it will get.

    I'm guessing until the end of this year. I bought one last double points offer, and likely will be buying the Classic Batcave on the next one. They could both go on sale at LEGO, or another retailer, before they are gone, but I don't want to risk missing out on either one.

    What at the thoughts on the Helicarrier. Will it be around like the original Death Star, or should I pick it up this weekend with double points. Will be getting Assembly Square and another exclusive set.
    My choices are:

    Insult on Hoth
    Disney castle
    Silent Mary
    Snowspeeder
    Carousel

    Disney castle by far the best choice definitely the best build I have ever had

    Disney castle will likely be around for a decade or so. If you want the helicarrier it is the most probable to disappear first.

    Looks like the Classic Batcave is retiring soon, and on sale. Whole lot of other sets are retiring too, including some that haven't been out that long yet.

    Tried to checkout with Assembly Square and wouldn't accept the JUNE promo code. Is anyone else having that issue? Wondering if it won't take it because of double vip points.

    The page says the code is valid until July 4th.
    I have made my order online and called LEGO to add the tote bag to it, they gladly did so.

    Nice at 215 it is definitely worth getting plus the tote (though I guess Ill have to call LEGO CS about that). Heavy haul train is only 159.99, as well. Mighty Micros sets on sale, Wedding favor set is down to 4.99, as well as the birthday set with joker..  All the Volcano themed stuff seems to be on sale lots of stuff on sale

    It was my first time using it, CS on the phone told me that they were fixing it right now as they are getting tons of calls about, wait time was about 20 min

    Thanks, now I know not to call CS for anything :-) . It did not work for me, so read the T&C and it said 'one time use only' so not sure if everyone had a problem saw that, as I used it once already. Wish I would have kept it, but the Classic Batcave (retiring soon tag and everything) for only 215 is a great deal IMO.

    It is for the large LEGO canvas tote bag. You put the code in and it should add a Canvas tote to your cart for purchases over 199.99 total

    I had called earlier and a recording said they were closed and open Monday to Friday, but thanks to Coloradobricks, found out there was more than one customer service phone number and was able to get the promo added to my purchase. Thanks! This forum always has the best help and answers from its' members.

    With so many wonderful high end sets out lately, I had kind of given up hope on getting the Batcave set, prioritizing other items and hoping the set would stick around.  But with it retiring and for the $55 off plus double VIP..... re-prioritized!  I had a strict purchase plan this pay check that went out the window when I stumbled upon a Saturn V  on B&N's website (which I didnt think I could even have the option to buy for months) and then this.

    ....it's interseting to see that all modulars are out of stock in the US....it's kinda like lego saying, "hey, if you got $200 to spend, would you mind spending it on some of the larger sets we need to move instead?"   Sorry, it is the cynic in me.... but I cant believe they are all out of stock at once.

    I agree, Plus it does not say when, I mean typically most sets that are done wind up having enough stock to last until the fall. While the rumor mill of the Palace Cinema may get the feeding frenzy started earlier for that set. Then again that is what LEGO likely wants. The last thing they probably want to do is discount the PC like they had to with the Pet Shop last Christmas.

    Those with a local LEGO store, do not forget to sign up for the Wonder Woman BrickHeadz (adult) build event (with minimum $75 purchase)... if you are interested in the set, of course.

    I was the first one on the list at my local store :-)

    I just looked and Brick Bank, Detectives Office, and Palace Cinema are all available.

    IMO 'Out of stock' and 'backorder' are two different things with LEGO. 'Out of stock' means none left; gone, or at least LEGO have to make more where a back order cannot account for the demand, but will be a crap shoot if you can get another..
    'Backorder' means they are making more, it is just a matter of time, and you can still buy one, you just will not get it quickly.

    When double points appear typically the exclusives that are less likely to be discounted tend to go on backaround quickly. What is interesting to me is the City Square and Heavy Haul train are both on backorder whereas the Bat cave is not. (Though the Heavy Haul train, at 160 USD, is probably more where that set should have retailed, same with the City Square IMO)

    Well that makes sense -- double points and a free bag is a pretty darn good deal. The bag is nice. Using it at the beach right now!!!

    My understanding is that 'Out of Stock' is triggered once there are a certain number of 'Backorder' orders are placed for a particular item.

    It is an older vestage when [email protected] had issues limiting the quantity of an item per household/mailing address.  (One could place a bunch of orders that would go to 'Backorder' and defeat the per order limit.)

    They also have automatic internal volume limits to prevent 'phantom' orders or repetitive orders.  I am sure that what is available on the website has nothing to do with that is actually in the warehouse.

    I think someone already mentioned the sale, but Classic Batcave was marked down to $215.00 at the Pentagon City store, and I'm assuming others.

    Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Bricks n Pieces is now eligible for contribution to hit promo item threshold. I thought that wasn't the case before, but I placed a $65 order of Bricks N Pieces, added another $10 and the free Piggy Bank appeared.

    I think you got lucky. I've tried doing the same, got the "Free Item was added to your cart" but couldn't actually see it. I repeated the process from scratch a couple of times, changed the order of adding the items, added expensive sets to make the piggy appear, only to see it removed when I deleted the sets.
    Since I did need the Bricks n Pieces items, I ended up placing an order after seeing the "free item added" but without seeing the actual item. The small set arrived yesterday on its own... no piggy for me. I doubt it will come with the Bricks n Pieces.
