Got a better/larger light-box today. Next: I really should get a tripod. After that, any poor (indoor) Lego pictures I take will be 100% down to my poor skills as a photographer...
I also feel like I've accomplished a Herculean task by shipping out stuff after my last round of trades. I doubt anyone will wonder why the postage cost few up 3000% in June...
In other news, I ordered my tuxedo for September last night.
I also got around to building #75100 First Order Snowspeeder this past weekend.
Haha, I see one tiny man among 2 minifigures.
IIRC, all the other modulars I own had the instructions bagged.
I have built a section of micropolis to add to the layout, safety in numbers when building for public display :-)
Looking forward to meeting lots of Bricksetters!
It's ruddy late!
I might even try building both.
Aaarrgghhh - still in Stuttgart. Missed our slot due to a couple of boarding pass errors. Should have taken off over an hour ago!
Oh, well - I'm sure we'll arrive eventually.
Queuing at border control now.
My fingers are killing me though from constantly removing parts - don`t you hate it when tiles get right under your nail. They drew blood....ouch!!!!!
I`ve got the building bug now and want to design more Brickheadz (and other things).
Getting chased out of the building by a tiger after a great day at Bricktastic!
That's three public events for our LUG in less than a month. I'm really glad we have a month until the next one.
The project approval department clearly needs to get themselves sorted out, if they won't let stuff like this through, but stuff like this gets the green light.
with that galactica project it's anyone's guess - are the helmets one from Star Wars? Clutching at straws but could be to do with that. might be that they don't want something micro fighter looking while the Star Wars ones are on the shelf?
2017 Me: "Hmm, this one is $5. Well, I can just get one."
2017 Me Continued: "Jyn isn't my favorite, so if I'm gonna have these I might as well get the ones I like.
2017 Me Again: "As long as I never pay full price for any of them, I'm good."
2017 Me Part 4: "Sigh. I now own 17 different buildable figures, but at least my oldest son loves them!"
Side Note: The General Grievous figure is great. Built it today. Love it.
You need an extra Obi-Wan and Grievous? I can hook you up!
Grevious is damn awesome and I wasn't too concerned when forced to pay RRP for him. I could see us getting a whole lot more if we could get them down at those crazy US clearance prices. Over here, the buildable figures are dropped to $25 AUD to clear shelves - that's just over $19 USD!
But I think I'll set myself a deadline for finishing it then make people wait to see the results by missing that deadline... just like real London Buses.
