Maybe they can sign Chris Paul and Clay Thompson to go along with LeBron and Lonzo Ball.
Superteam!
I was busy posting my thoughts about awesome UCS MF play features over on EB.
Explosions - CONFIRMED.
I look forward to reading this thread when I get home from work. Any actual news whilst most welcome would just be a distraction.
If there was a leaked picture of the MF you wouldn't hear about it on the main site you would here.
Have you seen the last jedi picture on the main site?
Forums have always been better for news than the main site, its very rare that the first we hear about something is from the main page.
Who is the more foolish, the fools in this thread, or the fools expecting real news that doesn't exist about a UCS Millenium Falcon?
I have a funny feeling that TLG pay a lot more attention to Internet rumours than the average fan realises, and make internal 'adjustments' accordingly...
LEGO Ninjago Movie 70616 Ice Tank has a giant trans blue piece that is NEW and looks like it could be put on a Falcon. Talk about that for a few months until we get some real news, and not more... whatever this ^^^^ is :(
So the fools in this thread are definitely more foolish than those excepting news but patiently waiting.
Definitely meriting 22 pages of whatever this is.
Sorry, but you've got to be joking. They fully intended that. Similar thing happened with the Saturn V.
The Designer video intros have been known to give hints on future sets.
That screenshot is the most absolute proof we have. That is a legitimate photo!! I have also seen some documents showing a CONFIDENTIAL product for $799.99
Am I the only one who has not seen these past year rumors? I've been browsing these sites for nearly 10 years and this is the only year I've seen it come up.
It is bound to happen. I don't know why people are in denial about this, it's like the Dimensions cancellation.. but not as bad...
Lego could just as easily not release the set and ignore the 'glitch'. It's not like a few folks that saw a 'coming soon' page have any basis to compell the set to be produced.
Summary - there isn't much in terms of evidence to substantiate this rumor.
And OK not necessarily just rumours, but other predictions of when it will be released. Such as ... http://bricksetforum.com/discussion/comment/321821#Comment_321821

There are quite a few like these over the years. I cannot be bothered to dig them all out. I have no doubt it will happen at some stage. Does that mean the rumours were correct though? If it had happened in, say, May 2015 would the guy that made up the Feb 2015 story have been correct? If it comes in another year, is that soon enough for this year's rumours to be correct? Is six months still valid?
Definition of rumor (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
1: talk or opinion widely disseminated with no discernible source
2: a statement or report current without known authority for its truth
In the last 12 months TLG have released soooo many excellent big box, large build (and expensive) sets from so many different themes, all of which are worthy of serious consideration to the AFOL market.
A lot of 'normal' (by definition not made of money) AFOL's are going to be choosing between three or four very good quality builds/sets that are all good in there own right, against one $800 set that is (according to the sources) an updated release of a set that, from what I have read, was not an exceptionally good seller at the time because of the price.
I know disposable income may be higher these days along with the ability to get money/credit easily, but I would imagine there are far more people in the bracket of "give me the three sets for $800" than there are for the "must have the Millennium Falcon and sod the rest".
As more great sets like the Ninjago City set come out that offer great alternative building experiences, my money is probably going to go on more than the one set.
**Saying all that, I still expect this set to fly of the shelves in good quantities when it's released, I just think that a large percentage of them will never be built in the vain hope of the monetary gain of the original.
The rumours have been great for my bank balance, at least in the short term!
It's made me determined not to buy anything else this year, and my strategy is working so far, but it would be good just to see something remotely concrete so I know that it will be worth the wait.
I sold my last (original) 10179 a few years ago, when rumours surfaced of a 'new version' and I'll admit that I've regretted it ever since. I just hope that this time they're correct this time, but if not I'll just spend the money on a couple of aftermarket UCS sets that I've got my eye on.
Admittedly, a RRP of £650-£700 is a lot of money for a single set, but logically it's got to be something really special for that..... and I can't wait to find out.
