Found a stray #75531 Stormtrooper Commander in the lego isle at my local Tesco, when I went to pay for it it came up as "not on file", the nice lady on the till called over her manager who went off to find out the price. He returned with a #75121 Imperial Deathtrooper and scanned that turned around to me and said "it is the white one you want ?", "yes" I replied, "that one is £10.19 please".

I walked out of Tesco well pleased..... cheap pre-release figure + clubcard points to boot :)

Other than some nice clearance prices at Walmart, the deal I'm most excited about was buying 12 of these parts bins at Target for $1.04 each; normally $5.99.

^ I'm a big fan of those. Use one every time I build to separate parts.
  • Jackad7Jackad7 Member Posts: 555
^^ I never thought about that. I just built another ship from scratch and it's not fun sifting through parts  but I dont have enough room to spread out on my desk. Looks like I'm going to have to brave a trip to Wal-Mart :/

^ Note - I got them at Target, and BrickSeek and other users on here are indicating I just got real lucky at one store. However, they're worth it even at $6.

Just come across a #6411 Paradisa Sand Dollar Cafe with box and instructions for £10 in a charity shop.

I made a bit of a gamble, not knowing what was in the box. But it turns out to be almost complete, except for around 10 very common pieces (like 1x1 plates and 1x1 round plates and some flowers).

Might try and clean it up, add the missing pieces and then resell on ebay. Looks like it could go for £30 or more, given I'm not in a rush to sell.

My local Walmart had Star Wars buildable figures for $5, but I decided to wait a day, then get a few. That was stupid of me. They were all gone when I went back. :( But I was able to get two Imperial Trooper battle packs (the Rogue One version) for the price of one! Well, actually less than the price of one. They started at $15, then went to $7.

£100 Shpock haul netted me the 1991 cargo train set, Metro station, and portion of the level crossing. In addition, there was most of the 1985 push along passenger train and the long containers from the 93 container stack set. No track or platform or the 85 set and only 1 minifig and extra head in the entire purchase, but fantastic value. Even the steam loco base was in the set, underneath one of the passenger coaches.

There's a video on my channel of you're interested in an in-depth look.

Well, if your Walmart had them, they're probably gone. I'm hoping that they'll do that sale again when another wave of buildable figures comes out. You know, shoving the old ones off the shelf. Fingers crossed.

Walked into the LEGO aisle at my nearest TRU today, and found a lone #70164 on the shelf, marked at $30! Pretty great price, considering it retailed for $70, I was pretty happy to take it home, especially since I didn't pick it up when Ultra Agents sets were widely available. Probably found in the back room, because I didn't see it last time I was there.

So, if you read my sad, sad story about missing the Star Wars figures sale, don't feel bad. Turns out, one of my friends bought a bunch of them, kept one and wasn't sure what to do with the others, so they offered two of them to me at the sale price. Great deal! Got Chirrut and Baze for $10 total.

No, 50% off. The numbers in the far right column are the prices paid (in Euros). The one next to it is the list price plus the discount given (badly layouted). 1 ST is the quantity (ST = Stück = units/quantity).
It's in se German Sprache. So it's bound to be a bit complicated or convoluted. ;)
    Cheers

The Store left you all something to think about with this wild invoice:-)
Most importantly it left me with a few good sets for a very good price...
Traded 2 Ghosts for a GBHQ already...

There was another Krennic box, but it was damaged...if I didn't disliked the design of the ship I would've picked it up.

That is a nice deal on the Krennic Shuttle.  The figs are worth more that the acquisition cost!

Just snagged this set for $10. It's opened, but was adult owned and 100% complete with instructions (box is in impeccable shape too). I was pretty thrilled!

Nice! That's one of my favorite Creator houses.

Yeah, I love a LOT of the Creator houses, but this one has always stood out to me for some reason. When I saw it post for sale locally, I couldn't move fast enough. Glad to have it in hand.

This happened several months ago, after searching for Aqua Raiders on eBay I found a listing for #7775 Aquabase Invasion & #7697 MT-51 Claw-Tank Ambush at $60 (incl. shipping). However, when looking at the pictures, I saw instructions to several other Aqua Raiders and Mars Mission sets. I went ahead and bought it, and after receiving it ended up with:
    #7775
    #7771
    #7772
    #7773
    #7697
    #7694
    #7695

All about 99% complete with instructions, one small BL order for about $5 got me the missing pieces. Turned out pretty good, $65 got me about $180 worth of sets.

I did pretty good this week. I bought about 20 pounds of legos in a plastic tote which include a small star destroyer set, the 1000+ piece set I think (she lost the instructions, grrr).  Also some ninjago, Minecraft, and Chima sets in the tub.  Supposedly, the sets are complete.   No instructions though.   That was $50. Then Saturday, I got my personal holy gmail set. Back in 1996, I bought a brand new 8880 Technic Super Car set at Toys R Us. .  I was building the set at that time, was relaxing while going though a divorce.  I got roughly 2/3rds done when I got divorced and somehow accidentally left  the partial built car, box, and instructions behind. I moved 3000 , miles away and never saw that set again. I still have the remaining 1/3rd  parts of the set that I just merged with my original Mindstorms set.  Well I saw an estate sale that had one of these sets in it last Thursday advertised on CL.  I went there friday but the sale wasn't til Saturday so he couldn't sell it to me.  I went there the next day at 9 and he had the set still there waiting for me.  25 dollars for that set.  Looks like there might be a few pieces missing but I'm okay with that for 25 dollars.  I also bought a tub of legos from him that was about 22 pounds worth.  There was a misc of all sorts of legos but looks like a lot of star wars legos in there, including parts of a Stormtroooper Technic 8008 set (instructions and a lot of the parts).  Got that tub for 25 as well.  :)

A  good week for my Lego hunting.

None of the Goodwill's in my area have Lego. I think they ship them off to their Auction Site or something. Nice finds!

Awhile ago I found the old Creator game for a buck at my Goodwill. This one, only the English version: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?G=00745&ColorID=0
