& yet over here, those are "winter" releases for us, that we can expect to start showing at retailers in spring....if we're lucky, or maybe just check back in summer.

Just got Slave I and the Snowspeeder from the Lego site sale, almost forgot I had the Tie from an Amazon flash sale a while back.  Should keep me busy for a while!

Built the Snowspeeder which is awesome and got the Slave I incoming, got it for 25% off RRP and brand new which I was happy with. Waiting for a similar price on the TIE before I splurge on that. Also a new UCS coming soon to save for...
  • ThoughtsonblocksThoughtsonblocks Member Posts: 178
The TIE was super flash sale priced for some stupidly low price, far from $200!
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
Amazon had the UCS Tie for $50 briefly if I recall correctly.
  • dspigeldspigel Member Posts: 478
I was able to get the UCS Tie for $125 from Amazon on Black Friday.

I volunteered at my LUG's event yesterday and I was able to buy some parts for my WW1 diorama project, lots of torsos, legs, printed tiles and other things for stock, custom-print She-Hulk and Wonder Woman, and I also snagged a box-damaged Spiderman bridge battle for £60!

Just got a 75054 AT AT with minifigures built for $10 and 4 more star wars sets for $20 more.  3 smaller space ships (snow speeder, yellow ship Ani flew in Revenge of the Sith I think, and something else), and some larger crawler thing apparently from Clone Wars (don't watch it so i don't know much about it).  All the ships were built and came with instructions and matching minifigures.

After a nightly visit to Tesco Feltham Dukes Green:

#70361 Macy's Bot Drop Dragon  for £12,99 - RRP I presume. Making for three very happy Nexo Knights fans in this household ànd the dubious honour of being the first to to add the new set tot my Brickset collection; likely because other Bricksetters were not that eager to update their collection :D
2x Friends #41128 for £10.79 each (RRP £17.99 / 19.99€) and #41310 14.74 EUR- Birthday presents for the Birthday Present God
#31063 Beachside Vacation for 13,99 (£19.99 / 26.99€ RRP) Love the set, very appropriate for the current weather in Western Europe and a good deal compared to Belgian prices.

Another Rocketboy and Highwayman as spares - They had lots of CMFs; Five boxes with a good selection.

    Hi,

New here, but what I'm buying now is the same reason I found this place. I'm collecting the Wii U LEGO limited editions with mini figurines. I have all the PAL releases and going after the NTSC-exclusive limited edition for Jurassic World. Even the empty box without the figure would do.

To go back to LEGO itself, slowly aiming to go for Christmas themed stuff as well as boxes for sets I had when younger - an Italian restaurant with red haired lady wearing pearls (of course), some tropical house with pool, and the yellow train station (these are all from the 90s).

Completed City's Volcano Explorers theme today; started a while back with ONLY getting the two big sets... then 30%+ off sales starting to happen; oh well.

Also this week, completed City's Airport, Friend's Amusement Park, and Angry Birds themes.

Add a few Star Wars sets and it's been a very expensive week.

The trick to balance the budget: Ramen for meals and free bagels at the office. I guess LEGO and a healthy diet are mutually exclusive ;-)

Having seen pictures of #76021 Milano from 2014 and this year's #76081 Milano side by side, I decided I liked the 2014 one better. So I looked for a decent deal and today this was delivered:

Hey, welcome to Brickset! If it's any help finding the box on Bricklink or Ebay, the restaurant set sounds like #6376. I have it as well and it's a lovely set!

LOL, its  British department store chain, now part of the Waitrose supermarket group. Loads of towns had their own named stores before they rebranded to JL. Ours was called Heelas.

The LEGO section in ours varies from "wow, there is every new set and some nice sale offers with price matching to anywhere" to "oh, theres a dozen sets all at full price"

Currently they've trimmed the range down.

Nice! I don't really play Dimensions, but I couldn't resist getting a couple Ninjago packs when I found them 75% off. The Titanium Ninja is a fairly hard to find guy.
  • The Saturn V is available through the LEGO shop now even through it's not June 1 - however the June 1 offer with the free minifigure travel pack isn't, how is that?

Garage sale DUPLO assortment for $1. 55 pieces, nearly all common color 2x2 and 2x4
told the lady I didn't need the bucket, as I have so much lego that a bunch of different storage containers are hard to handle. I might've gone $2 on the parts, but when she said $1 I didn't complain.
also included a few generic bricks (I checked before buying); I keep off brands for young houseguests to play with. These didn't look as bad as some clone brands, so I'm not supplying junk. :)

Yep, I was super lucky to find #MINECON Steve. Just happened to be surfing eBay Worldwide for Minecraft related stuff at the time. I haven't seen a second one listed since which is weird since there must be thousands of them out there!

There are 8 people on Brickset who indicate they own this item. I would be interested to know where everyone else get theirs?

I could not help myself,I just ordered #75158 Rebel Combat Frigate from this German shop, which I just discovered:
    http://www.d-edition.de/Spielwaren/LEGO-/
They offer it currently for €76,03
Though with shipping costs to NL, and handling fees, the total I had to pay for it was quite a bit more (shipping made up about a quarter of the total price), still cheaper than I have seen it anywhere else.
Lets hope I won't have to do a quadruple face-palm, and this is actually a really decent deal. I have been on the fence about this set for a long time, I now hope TLG won't offer this set in two months time for 50% off or something like that, as that would be quite a slap in the face.

DHL delivered my regular order of airbags from TLG! Oh, and a key chain.

Not trying to compete with @SumoLego's key chain collection, just needed "something" SW to qualify for a #40268 R3-M2 when I placed a non-SW order a couple of weeks ago.

Clearly all TLG's padded envelopes are reserved for PAB orders, and the Kuehne + Nagel warehouse only gets boxes. And airbags.

I'd be happy to be wrong, although maybe the European warehouse packages different from the US one? Never seen bubbles in my boxes yet, only airbags.

A saving grace is that at least my local recycling centre accepts those airbags. (PE-HD 02)

I don't worry.  There's no one silly enough to make it a competition, except for @joel4motion.  Although someone sent me three keychains, and I have no idea who!

    But thank you!
