The haul needs to be WASHED though! Still, I was able to talk the guy down in price and he actually took the lower of the prices I put out there. All in all, I'm happy with the $60 spent :)
The monorail motor works fine and is unbroken/intact (although one of the couplers was detached). And, the same goes for the monorail bases and bogeys.
Plus, there wasn't that much playwear, and the white motor housing has no obvious discoloring, so, as far as the monorail-specific parts are concerned, condition-wise (and price-wise), I am very happy.
Probably could have waited for a better price with the amount each Target by me had in stock, but didn't want to risk it. Shelves clear around here pretty quickly.
That being said, I'm going to try and go to the Target I originally bought this from, see if I can get one for a discount and then return this one, or see if I can do a return/rebuy at the cheaper price.
Been doing some job lot purchases over the last few months to bump up my collection of parts and figures.
My latest score: Got my 9th job lot on Craigslist last night, pictures in the ad were terrible, but lady texted me there were 60 "figures" and about 20lbs of lego including some star wars and hobbit sets, she wanted $80 so I figured I'd take a look.
I got there, and under some mega blocks junk I saw piles of sand green parts, saw many Elves and Dwarves in the pile, and a complete "Rancor Pit" set so I paid her and headed home to see what other treasures there were in the plastic bins.
She was way off on her figure count... There were 110 Lego minifigures (plus 50+ non lego figures, mostly Halo).
For sets (most appear complete so far), the lot included:
Hobbit
79018 The Lonely Mountain - no Smaug... but rest of figs are there
79004 Barrel Escape
79012 Mirkwood Elf Army
Star Wars
75005 Rancor Pit

There are probably a few more sets that were completely disassembled as there is a few inches deep lego in the large bin they came in.
Feels like I got a good deal!
and also found a #70800 Getaway Glider, boxed, Lego & 3 mini-figs mint, instructions & un-used sticker sheet & missing 3 minor parts for the grand sum of £2.50
Value:€120 Paid:€32 Me:Happy!
It came with a bunch of Lego city sets (all in excellent condition). And the cherry on the cake was finding three Team GB minifigures in as new condition that i do not already have!
So the question is what to do with all of the Lego city? Is there a market for it here? Or am i better selling it on via ebay?

Plus some old Castle sets that I've not got round to piecing together yet.
Willing to sell the SS RC?
From Thrift Stores. Legoland hats $3.00 each. LEGO Baseplate 33 cents.
It ended up coming in at 93 lbs plus the 30 gal tote is half full of larger assembled pieces I've not yet weighed and broke down (hoping the assembled pieces will give a good idea of what sets may be in the lot.). These are pictured in attached image as well as the what has been sorted.
in all it has came out to $2.41/lb without including the large assembled pieces yet. I think by the time it's done, I'll be under $2/lb plus I gained 2 nice storage totes!
Some issues I've found with the lot from the first half of sorting - but at this price I can't complain to much.
.620 lb - pieces that have been glued.
1.04 lb - non-lego blocks and other.
