    Yes, this seems to be less about sorting LEGO and more about just moving it from one place to another....

    It's a proof of concept, and it mostly works from what I can see.  What's missing is more actuators and the bins for different Lego to be sorted into.  It's a good start, with a lot more time, effort, and resources required... but then you'd have to compare that time to what good ol manual labor woukd have accomplished by then.

    Hmm... I can't decide which is more exciting, watching paint dry or this.

    On a serious note, at this rate, by the time it cleared 2 tonnes of Lego we would have watched Avatar 2 in the cinema. Or maybe not.
