Nothing wrong with that of course! Just make sure you attach it to a wall stud!

I had to improvise with the flippers on vacation batman as well as putting a minifig baseplate under orca due to the fin being too big.
Actually, what does a router have to do with wooden frames... Oh... Carry on :-)
Couldn't help it. Sorry!

I think they are black, but they might be very very dark grey.
It reads, "You're pretty much my most favorite of all time in the history of forever"
Your brain my rest now.
Looks good everyone. There is a lot of inspiration on this board. I should really dedicate some time to doing something like this.
I remember when the collectible minifigures first came out, and I said to myself "Who would pay £2.50 for a little plastic figure!?" That was before my girlfriend bought me a handful one Christmas and got me hooked in. What a fool I was!
It's B-E-A-utiful...i take it that is all 16 series plus others?

Tempted to get one without baseplates, and order a load in different colours from PAB for the different series.
They are in chronological order (more or less) - reading down then across. First one is SW EP1-3 and the other two are the OT
How do you ensure the blocks are all lined up nicely? Any tips?
Absolutely - because I knew I needed to make eight frames, I got an extra piece of board to use as a template. I was able to measure and draw out the locations of the screw holes, just drawing pencils marks straight onto it, and then drilled through where the holes needed to be. I could then overlay it onto all of the backing boards one at a time as a guide.
That sounds far too much hard work..either that or i am astonishingly lazy....who knows!
Thanks for the info. In my Ribba frames i have made an internal frame using lego, but it adds a lot of weight!
And if my local Walmart is any indication, you won't have to wait until May 1! :)
It's just wood, felt, varnish, glue and a bunch of 1x2 plates nothing particularly complex. With the exception of the large piece of wood for the back, which was cut by the hardware store when i purchased it, the rest was crafted on a bedroom floor.
I did briefly think about a cover but didn't want to make it too heavy so opted against it.
This blog has backgrounds for all CMF Series - a little photoshopping is required to remove their logo etc http://www.pointbrick.com/blog/
It may just be me but why is Bizarro in the villains for DC but Batzarro isn't?
I do the same with my collection. For me it's that Bizarro is a fully-fleshed out character while Batzarro is more just like a Batman variant (And fits perfectly with the Bat suits).
