Good to hear that there's 3 full sets in each box, and the mystery character is not limited at all. Whatever is up with that. I guess we'll find out soon enough from TLG's PR department.
I'm already imagining some of the figs were going to see with that leopard print G-string on the Strongman...
Hopefully one day in the future I can set up a dedicated Lego room with a cityscape. I plan on having a fairground in there (I have the Ferris wheel and mixer) and for some reason I really want the Friends hotdog van as part of the scene. However, I have no interest in the Friends minifigs, so was stuck with an empty hotdog van. If this series hadn't contained that hotdog seller then I would have walked on by. It's like they knew I was after this particular minifig. How do Lego do it?!

They add vat at checkout ao it jumps to 2.84 per.figure.
wish the dwarf and elf were fleshies. I like them, but they really only fit with LOTR stuff.
This made me LOL so much!
Also confirmed that it is NOT connected to a licensed property or other in-house theme. TLG have placed an embargo on reviewers providing further details until the series general release.
Not much of a gimmick for the mystery figure to be 5 per box. At least the minimum per box should of been 3, but 5.....that's a fail.
At £4 a pop they damned well should be...
Just realised that saying a minifig is £4 shows that i mostly speak out of my arsehole...oops
Maybe they just fill every bag with 5 random minifigure parts so every one is unique?
While AFOLs are likely to find out prior to buying parents aren't so getting the mystery figure feels like winning a prize in a way.

(Lately I seem unable to paste a working hyperlink in my posts here on the forum!)
I chose the Elf Girl. I would have liked this minifig even more if they
had given her proper printed minifig legs, which would have made her
more versatile (pose her walking, sitting, on horseback etc.). Anyway I
like elves, that is why I picked this figure. Even though I like the
dwarf, pastry chef, rocket boy, butterfly girl, French dude, gladiator,
hot-dog/milkshake vendor, retro spaceman about just as much. Ooh I also
like the surfer dude, veterinarian, corn cub guy, dance instructor, and
yuppie a lot. Don't know what the 'mystery' highway man / robber will
look like, but I am pretty sure I will like that one too. Only minifig I
don't care that much for compared to all the
others is the circus strong man.
I personally love the look of the rocket boy, and the grey classic space shirt really brings the figure home.

Then the silhouette images would actually look accurate!
