@blogzilly If KISS Batman is hanging out with Mixels, shouldn't those be #41560 #41561 and/or #41562?

From seeing tweets by Brits, I was already aware of Mothers Day being earlier ther,e not afraid I'd missed the US one. :)

@TheMaker37 I used to store LEGO in my bedroom. I now sleep in a LEGO warehouse. Welcome to the club. [I have the same username on BL, store name The Brick Baron]

@Ayliffe You mean using all those #30351 from March? I'm using multiples for gifts.

Went to the Eastview Mall LEGO store, first chance after realizing a bus goes there.

5 #40161 What Am I?, 5 #40153 Birthday Table Decoration, 8 #40165 Wedding Favor Set, a Vacation Batman, #41307 Olivia's Creative Lab, #41302 Puppy Pampering, #41303 Puppy Playground, #41300 Puppy Championship and one PAB cup (mostly white 2x1 curved slope and sand green 1x1 brick with 2 studs on opposite sides). I intended to get just enough for both promos, some small Friends sets and a couple PAB cups, though I would've ordered much of this from S@H anyway.

Some got scuffed on the way home. Perhaps next time I'll bring packaging for sets I'll leave sealed. I thought #40252 was going to be a poly because calendar said 'mini'; it's only small in comparison to #10252. I got 2 of each promo.

Store staff was friendly, got more of the sale sets from back, busy enough that I should've been less chatty.

To avoid using too many small bills, I used all my VIP points. No point promos right now so I'm not losing much. Sales tax is 8% in my county and online versus 7.5% at the store.

I'll definitely go back sometime, with improved plans. I'll spend less time meandering around the mall or fretting over the PAB wall. I often carry collectibles checklists and will do that for my common shape bricks by color to avoid getting duplicates or miss something I don't have.

Unfortunately not, being a teacher she couldn't have time off during term. But don't worry I'll be picking up something nice for her!

Plates seem like too much of a pain to stack or unstack, but I do that with bricks all the time.

    Thanks guys :)

@bandit778 I guess that does make it sound older, but to think all the things I've done on these 35 years (learned to walk to just name an example), 35 years to go does seem like a long time still. Sorry to make you feel old!

Me and my family are now looking for the chef's hat in the bricks of bags 2 from AS.

    My son is also building...

It's like Lego version of Where's Wally (Waldo for those in the US)!
Is that it in the top right of the upper left section?

Don't worry about making me feel old, I remember the days when...... mutter, grumble, moan, mutter... (all whilst waving a stick at anyone that has the audacity to be younger than me).   ;)

Nice to see your son likes to live dangerously, building on the edge of the table. :)

At first I couldn't tell what part of the label was incorrect, then I spotted the shadows of the bag contents! A packing error is rare enough normally, but you hardly ever expect to see one in an already limited promotion. Glad it was an error in your favor!

I'm back in the game! Was beginning to think I'd never say that again as dry January became dry February which became dry March.

Horrible don't ever try it. It's worse than not actually drinking alcohol

Today thanks to a great bricksetter a lego package arrived and we have embarked upon the sausage collection with the friends hot dog van :-)

I won't take photos as I'm sure you've all seen enough sausages but the relief of new lego arriving was palpable. Subsequently I had to update my inventory and then start a new wanted list as a result

samiam391 is probably lucky enough to have another Mr Gold in there spooning one of those extra figures....does that also mean there is a poor bugger out there with a sealed bag and no figure?

After a lot of ABC- birthday fun (Assembly, BBQ, Cake), getting prepared to go see family
and have hols in the UK/at the Belgian coast.

Son and I are only allowed to take one samla box between us. So, packed it with 3 in 1 creator sets, and we can make the 4th models online too. Plus make our own creations of course...

If I leave the instructions I could  maybe pack another one in, but prefer looking on paper than screen, same goes for the young'un.

Not sure what your birthday cut off etiquette is?!

A day too late, still      happy birthday. Hope you had a fun day.

In case you are not familiar with this extremely important protocol, well than it doesn't matter. However perhaps you are one of those people who is very stringent about it!?!? In that case tough luck, I'll try again next year.     ;-)

I'm curious though is this legit? I do see something small and gray on the lower right side perhaps a stick holding up a minifigure in the back?  Is this all a joke????: )
