I also just spent a bunch of $ at Barnes & Noble at their 25% off sale (+10% member discount) and picked up:

#21306 Yellow Sub
#21307 Caterham Seven
#21030 US capitol

Nice, I got a couple for $59 at WalMart last year. Ninjago seems to have a lot of cool parts and figures.

10 #10603 (DUPLO schoolbus) at Marshalls for $6, they finally lowered them from $8. Mom noticed when nshe was last in the store. One more was still marked $8, not the first time that store has had that nonsense going on.

More than enough to get the Nexo Knights promo. Already have the Milano, so that completes the GotG v2 collection.
Also, found #31046 Fast Car 30% off at Target today.
(yes, I used Comic Sans... sue me!)
Now a question for the group: with Double VIP here, I'm pulling the trigger on Assembly Square, and I'm debating using my ~$100 in available VIP rewards on either the LBM Arkham Asylum or either the Detective Office or Brick Bank. The latter two never go on sale - what are my chances of getting a sale price on Arkham Asylum at TRU in the future?
I'm in the process of acquiring some vehicles to fill out my city. I'm actually leaning toward fewer of the "city scale" vehicles since they've always bugged me as a bit undersized.
Scored 70819 Bad Cop Car Chase at 70808 Super Cycle Pursuit from TLM to start building my Gotham City PD to get along with the LBM sets. Just need the Dropship from 70815 for a Batman Animated Series-type airship...
I was not expecting it to be City-scale, but after building it I noticed that a minifigure (actually two) will fit nicely, and having recently built the hot rod it struck me of how big the difference in size is.
If anything, it illustrate how the awkwardly proportionate the minifigures are overall ;-)
Stopped by my local LEGO store after work looking for #10255 Assembly Square... out of stock :-(
So, not feeling like walking out empty-handed, picked up #10252 Volkswagen Beetle; it's "California-themed" after all ;-)
This is my first Creator Expert vehicle... now to place an order for #10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (no Mini Cooper or Ferrari for me, thank you).
You've been a member for over a year now; you should know better ;)
Can't wait to start expanding my city.
My superheroes need more more places to fight villains and the Ghostbusters need more buildings to make money busting ghosts!
^ Yeah, but I knew you would say that @vorpalryu :-)
Rather interested in the use of the word 'officially' in this admission... :-)
Also, how did you not get those typos in the 6 minute window?!
I know about the typos. Some weird combination of strange auto-correct and fat fingers on a small Note 5 screen.
Then I picked up the TLBM minifigures from sets I've decided I won't buy (Aaron Cash, Kite Man, Magpie, Tarantula, Zebra-Man, Calendar Man, Kabuki Twin x2) along with Katana and Killer Moth.
*By my own collection criteria, which is every character rather than every minifigure - thankfully for my wallet I'm not interested in chasing down variants.
It was my largest Lego purchase to date and can't say that it didn't come with its fair share of questioning my sanity as there are so many other things in life the money could have gone toward. But, when I got home and set them all up (they were already built), I felt a bit better about things!
The buy button was clicked very fast :)
If I can just find a decent price on #10211 or #10185, I'll have every modular I care to own...
Today LEGO seems to be much, much better at maintaining demand (sometimes even more than they can adequately fulfill!), so I wouldn't be too quick to chalk today's more modest discounts up to resellers specifically.
"Nude?"
...and THEN click the buy button.
Which is why I build all my stuff by myself. :(
