    Is there a separate thread for these Lego mini build events? 
    Not sure of any separate thread for builds like these. I usually find out about them in a particular thread line B&N or TRU, etc...

    I called two stores. One confirmed it was a build and take event starting at 2. The other said the person directing it wasn't available yet, and they weren't sure if they supplies actually came in or not? I'm calling back later today to double check. 

    Looks like it's hit or miss, so YMMV.

    The U-Wing was $57.60 (NC) after member discount. Not bad! That's what I was eyeing last sale but couldn't get.

    We have one store in the area that says you need to RSVP.....the rest said first come first serve....they also said they only have forty sets so YMMV I guess.

    Just in case no one has mentioned it yet, I was able to place an order for #30521 and #30523 on bn.com today. 
    I didn't get the 10% member discount though.

    They didn't have the make and take at the closest store to me, it was just loose bricks for building. They only gave out the trading cards.

    I took the niece...we showed up at 2:05pm...didn't know that you had to be there exactly at 2pm.  Bricks were in a walmart ziplock baggie and there were no directions.  Just kids and their parents sitting around in a circle while a B&N employee read the directions out loud.  He told me they only received enough bricks for 25 models and 2 sheets of directions.  Never did get any of the cards.

    ^Do you want to trade one for the cards from days 2 and 3 ;) ?  Honestly, it looked like most of the parents at our store were disappointed AFOLs that dragged their kids to the thing to score the free build.  I know I was, lol.  I like the look of the model as it's built in the ad on the last page better than the actual Mini Batmobile polybag.

    Agree that the B&N build is cooler than the polybag batmobile from TRU

    The store I went to tonight had 25% off stickers on stuff not listed on the web site and the cashier told me it was everything $39.95 and up again (except for Architecture - I asked, and probably Ideas - I didn't ask).
    Ended up leaving with another #75156 Krennic, a new #75172 Y-Wing (woo-hoo!), and a #75825 piggy pirate ship. I haven't been impressed with the other Angry Birds sets, but this one has some cool mechanical features and actions, and neat parts as well.

    I went into to my store and also noticed the 25% off stickers on a wide variety of sets including many that were not listed on the sale website.  I really wanted the stellar new Y-Wing set and after seeing a stack of them with no stickers, found one stuffed elsewhere on the shelf with a sticker on it.  Grabbed it up and bought it, cashier said it wasnt supposed to be on sale, called the manager and basically said "we have another sticker on the wrong Lego set, we have to discount it right?" and they gave it to me plus the 10% off for my membership  $40 for a set that is already top notch and a great value.  When they had the similar sale a couple weeks ago, I noticed they had just put out some of the brand new creator and city sets and had stickered the $39.99 and up ones with the 25% off sticker even though they were not supposed to be out yet or part of the sale.  This week I noticed it looked like someone may have been pulling stickers off and putting them on other boxes, there were a couple stickers just stuck to the shelf and other that were clear loose and had been picked it.  Seems like a mix of the store mis-stickering and customers abusing loose stickers by putting them on non-sale items.

    They had 25% paper signs around the Lego displays in our store. There was 30% off sticker for #41038. It rang up only 25% off but they honored the extra 5% off. Glad I had a $15 GC too! My kid loves the tiny jungle animals, zip line, and slide!

    You can also grab gift cards that are up to 12% off at Cardcookie.com. I got a $50 gift card for $44, so even more savings! Delivery took about 5 hours though, so don't buy one in store and expect to use it then.

    ^ Good time to get a few of these as Barnes and Noble has a fair amount of sets (not a ton, but enough to check locally) at 50% off. Ones at my stores included First Order Transporter, Spaceport, #21122 Nether Fortress, #21121 Desert Outpost, Morro Dragon, and last year's fire station.

    Not entirely true. I think it's just a YMMV type situation. Both B&N near me held items on Monday so I was able to pick them up after work.

    Lucky! Guess it is. I've had several B&Ns tell me multiple times they wouldn't hold it. Guess it all depends on what the individual manager holds to.

    I was able to pick up a #60080 for $59.97 and a $60086 for $14.97.  Finally got a #30521 too.  Found a #60134 for 25% to boot.  With father in law's membership applied, not a bad haul.  Saw some other older stuff there too, kind of surprised that wasn't discounted as well.

    Mall of America store had several #21122 Nether Fortress at 50% off today. I also found their polybags behind the counter at the cashier. Got a #30496 U-wing and a #30521 Mini Batmobile. All with an extra 10% member discount.

    I bought them both at BN yesterday. 10% is better than 5% at Target...if they had them.

    Grabbed two more Minecraft sets at 50% off today, #21121 and #21122. Pretty good parts packs if you want good old bricks.

    Even at 50%, it's still above the 5 cent/piece threshold but the minifigs are good either as gifts for kids or to be sold off.

    Looks like Barnes and Noble took their clearance to 75% off this week. Although the few stores near me were ravaged when 50% hit so there isn't any LEGO left now, some of you may have more luck.

    Dude, nice haul. Where are you located? On 3 B&N around my area (SA) only managed to find the Nether Fortress

    Found a decimated box of S17 today, but based on my limited experience, it only contained one corn cob guy and 3 butterfly girls.

    Ah. It is kind of meaningless to buy another CMF when you already have three of 'em :P (I have three hot dog guys and three shark suit guys back from when my addiction was worse)

    Just picked up a Saturn V at the Mall of America. They don't have any out on the floor yet; I called to see if they had them and they set one aside for me.

    I am going to be at MOA in a couple weeks, thats my fall back plan for the Saturn 5.  Is it being carried in general retail or just more exclusive retailers?

    @Thoughtsonblocks Saturn V was at my regular suburban Nashville Barnes & Noble.

    @77ncaachamps B&N coupons don't work on LEGO any more but the member discount does. It used to be that the double member discount worked on LEGO, that's why I have Mindstorms, but last time they did that promotion it didn't.

    I just stopped in my store, they said they had two, thought they still had one, but couldn't find it, looks like someone bought both.  Guess they got them in a few days ago.  Wouldn't surprise me if a re-seller grabbed them, they are going to be hot items for a while and getting them with an extra 10% off isnt a bad deal.

    Whoever answered my call said they would go look while I waited. They must've checked the basement storeroom. Maybe your guy just checked the shelves.

    I was just at my store and they had 2 of the Saturn V sets out on the shelf.

    Also found it amusing that their supply of polybags were in individual plastic anti-theft cases.
