[UK] FS - classic castle sets

Hello again.

Today I have a complete (according to accompanying instructions) #6080 Kings Castle.

Lovely condition, very playable, all 12 figures with all accessories and horses, all accessories hanging from the clips within the castle, instructions in a good state with no tears, tape or falling pages, it's just an all round joy.

There is some discolouring to some greys, I will probably replace anything shameful as I break it down for postage.
The book has been folded and is creased, would probably press nicely though.

Looking for £110 including P&P....

Thanks for looking.

Forgot to mention, the origins of the two pieces of string are unknown. They were still attached to the pieces shown in the instructions.
I don't know how long those pieces of string are.

I know £110 is quite optimistic so I am (as always) open to sensible offers (looks over @SprinkleOtter).

Bidding War! £2 delivered? On a serious note, this is the second set that you have posted that I recall having as a child. I really regret giving my large suitcase full of Lego away!

Can't a guy make a joke around here that doesn't include sausages, red, rangefinders, or helicopterlighthouses? ;)

In the process of piecing together a copy of #6061 and it looks to be complete with instructions.... Stay tuned.

That's an awesome set. If I wanted to get started on a whole new theme, and had a truckload of money to indulge in it, I'd be all over this. Good luck with your sale! And let me know if you have LL-928 up for sale at any time... :-)

Thanks all for your comments, it is on display and looks great.

#6061 is complete, I have misplaced the ladder temporarily.

I have also pieced together #6022 and #6012 which are also complete with instructions.

There is one more castle set left to sort and it's #6073 .

@MaffyD - I am looking at a manual for #928 so there's a chance most of it is there. I have seen the space logo printed bricks and they are quite faded.

Ok, #6073 is virtually complete except for 3 parts.

    1x broken...

    1x broken and 1x missing...

    So, for sale I have....
    #6080
    #6073
    #6061
    #6022
    #6012

All complete with books with the exception of the comments above regarding #6073.

I also said that some discoloured parts on #6080 would be replaced when it was broken down for packing. This is not possible now as all the parts have been used to build the other sets.

I really need to sell all of this ASAP.

Looking for over £200 now for all of it together, I will take some pictures later and add them to the thread.

Another addition, just pieced together a #6010 . No instructions with this one.

Edit: These two were slacking off during the photos...

And someone else is using the ladder, temporarily.

Forgot this vital information, the clip on the yellow saddle is broken :(

The figures are great though, some wear to the gold on the Lion Knights but otherwise all in good condition and they all have a face.

Just out of curiosity, where are the other two types of plumes to attach to the crests of all the knight's helmets? Did you lose those? Or are these not sets from your own childhood, and did you obtain these sets recently without them (the plumes)?
I know every set contained a wheel with three types of plumes for every knight included in all those classic castle Lego sets.
Never had the big Lion knights (King's) castle as a kid, and always wished I had, well at least during my childhood. I do still have all other sets shown on your pics.

    Anyway good luck selling them!

    ps.
It is unfortunate that somehow those lion knight torso prints (coat of arms with either the 'lion' or the 'crossed axes') hardly ever seem to withstand the test of time all that well. Especially the markings in gold. The Falcon knights silver printing on their torso's always fares much better it seems.

@TheBigLegoski - Ahh yes, I have the other plumes, not sure if they are all there though.

I am currently piecing a #6057 and it still has the tiny dragon wings for the figurehead.

These sets all came from a one owner mixed lot along with some space stuff, the latter is in a much worse state with the exception of the recently sold #6950.

    @TheBigLegoski

I've seen the sprue wheels somewhere too. Probably hanging out with the ladder and the mast from #6057 .

Hoping (sort of but not really, needs must etc) to sell this by the weekend, should have #6057 finished and added today.

@mmozzano - Temptation got the better of you yet ;) ?

Afraid not! Lovely sets but I'll have to stay strong!

If anyone is remotely interested, including our members from mainland EU, PM me and I will consider all sorts of offers.

Need them to go before I get too attached and, well, life stuff is priority right now.

The same goes for the classic town set and anything else I have. It's all good BL stock, no?
