You know your with the right one when she feeds into your Lego obsession... I got the typical caandy for V-day along with LEGO Star Wars Echo Base (7749)... she knew I had been wanting this set mainly for the Tauntaun minifig, now I can build onto my Hoth scene.

I am giving my daughters Lego sets. Youngest is getting the Duplo Snow White set and the oldest is getting the Valentine's Day box.

I'm ordering a bunch of parts for my UCS MF project :) I received the light grey boat rigging yesterday.. still thousands of pieces left.. not all of them rare, thankfully.

I gave my older son the statue of liberty minifig and my younger son the genie minifig.

I got my 9 year old son the Grand Emporium. I had $90 of VIP points saved, so I sprung for this set. That way I could only count it as a $60 gift, LOL. We built the Fire Brigade a month ago. He absolutely loves it and can't wait to "plug in" the Grand Emporium next to it. We built the first two floors last night and looking forward to doing the rest tonight.

Farnsworth House but that was probably a panicked reaction to my daughter giving my husband Droid Escape. She got the Valentine's box.

I bought the Valentine's Box for myself. Sad, but true.

But yesterday I bought myself the three SW Planet sets. :o)

I didn't get anything either - single as well. But I'm about to order a Grand Emporium this weekend :)
  • sidersddsidersdd Member Posts: 2,432
I gave up on piecing together my own Cafe Corner (10182) and Statue of Liberty (3450), so I just bought them - without boxes though (which I normally don't do). Happy Valentines Day to me (until the wife finds out).

We gave our two boys some new Ninjago spinners and booster packs. The boys and I picked up the heart box last night which we'll give to my wife tonight.
Maybe I'll go to the closet and pick out something for myself--the captain's cabin, perhaps.

As I mentioned I got the hoth set.... I gave my girlfriend the HP Forbidden Forest since she likes HP and I ordered all the bricks from [email protected] to create the Lego Heart Polybag set 40004 instead of buying it for around $13-$15 on ebay. She also got roses and candy. I wanted to get her the Lego Rose 852786 but found out it was a glued set, LAME!

Nothin'...my wife wants to go out and get some nice food and hang out in Manhattan...yeesh, how selfish of her...;) Doesn't she know men have Lego needs...;)
My kid got her the Valentine Box. Very cut little kit. Two hearts in it.
Tomorrow's the last day of the NinjaGo tournament qualify. I'll let my son pick out something for himself there.

Picked up a Y-Wing for myself #30% off at TRU.
  • doodlebirddoodlebird Member Posts: 88
^ you mean 16% off? tru price = $60, lego price = $50. the "30% off" is really just 16% off, but still... a discount and better than a punch in the eye! :) that's what i got from my 2 yr old daughter this morning.... i got the kids some lego books. Masters of Spinjitsu and Blackbeard's Treasure. got the heart box for the Mrs.... and as for what i got? i'll pick something out of storage for myself tonight... probably the VW bus i gave myself for Xmas.

^ don't feel bad for me! we're all lucky to have the love of lego in our lives. in my case (and in many others on here), i also have a wife who tolerates the nuttiness... and she lets me buy my own gifts, so it's not as bad as it might have sounded.

I got 8109 Flatbed Truck from my hubby :o)
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
8109 is a great set and a fun build... Complex gears, but pretty cool to put together...

You'll have fun with it! :)

I got nothing, not that I was expecting anything. In fact, my wife and I got each other cards and then forgot to give them to each other, who says romance is dead!

    ^^ That is humorous ^^

My wife and I have been married so long, we bought each other cards and forgot where we put them. Senility is alive and well in our household.

Now I have to remember where I put that darn lego Valentine's box.
  • Blue1dotBlue1dot Member Posts: 78
I got the city camper 7639 that I've been wanting for awhile (and at just $19.99) also the Valentine's box with salted caramels
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
Where did you get the Camper blue1dot?
  • Farmer_JohnFarmer_John Member Posts: 2,405
Okay...something's definitely not right! I got a chocolate bar and my wife got a lego set (Valentine Box)?!?!?!

I would say that I got the raw end of the deal, but it was extra dark chocolate. :-)
  • adello25adello25 Member Posts: 361
I got 4 series 6 minifigs. Turned out to be Butcher, Mechanic, Statue of Liberty, and the Bandit
  • LegobrandonCPLegobrandonCP Member Posts: 1,917
^^ I absolutely hate dark chocolate. White chocolate is the best.

I hope to find a wife that enjoys building with LEGO someday. Is that dream girl hard to find? Haha.
  • littletokilittletoki Member Posts: 519
A box of truffles, the Pet Shop, a few SW battle packs and a chrome Stormtrooper. I don't know what to open first!

Since I'm single I got nada, but I did buy the Y-Wing and Clone BP today.
  • wagnerml2wagnerml2 Member Posts: 1,376
@legobrandoncp finding one that loves lego isn't impossible, but rare. I'm happy that my lovely bride simply tolerates them! I always explain to her that Lego is better than my brothers online poker addiction!
  • StuBoyStuBoy Member Posts: 623
My wife hinted she wanted a certain DVD, so I got myself the new Tipper Truck for myself for her to give me when I picked up her DVD :)
I'm making progress though - last Christmas she refused to get me Lego, so this is a step in the right direction.

I spent yesterday making the fire temple which I found highly enjoyable! I don't think the rest off the ninjago range will be for us though. I just want to keep the temple on display as its so pretty. My little boy has other idea though!

I'm single so no valentines presents for me :( I might have to go and buy myself the pet shop for consolation
  • Blue1dotBlue1dot Member Posts: 78
@BrickDancer, quite by accident found it at one of those little educational toy stores, Learning Express I think.
  • Blue1dotBlue1dot Member Posts: 78
@roostmanuva, I got the Destiny's Bounty 9446 last month and even though Ninjas are Japanese not Chinese, it looks so nice I put it in my office for Year of the Dragon.
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation Member Posts: 5,572
    @legirl - me too :(
Already got a Pet shop, what can I buy to make up for being unloved?
  • legirllegirl Member Posts: 105
@LostInTranslation - ooh, maybe you'll have to wait 'til March 1st.....what's a couple of weeks in the life of a singleton?
  • LegobrandonCPLegobrandonCP Member Posts: 1,917
