    Why do I feel the new blaster pieces are going to put as much stress on the hands as the jumpers did on the legs? Translation: I won't be using them.

    Ah, they finally capitalizing on the hands as launchers? They always were pretty good at that- if you put an axe in a minifig's hand just right, then give it a tiny tap, it would go flying.

    ^ Yeah, Iron Man and Adaptoid come with those blue pieces in the picture that you press and they fire. Then a week or two later, you go to BrickLink to search for replacement hands.

    I got the #60119 Ferry! I nearly bought it so many times last year, but I'm glad I didn't, because Argos had it on clearance at £14.99, and I had a £5 voucher to use up before the 21st, so it all worked out very well.

    I'm walking the fine line of trying to contact them, but not have a restraining order filed against me. I've had enough bad luck with great Lego deals falling through lately. I think I deserve this one!

    Had to go to the big Tesco today, and in addition to a large selection of new sets, they had an end cap of clearance stuff, including the #60118 Garbage Truck for £10.80.

    For some reason I always assume this set has been out for ages, so it didn't strike me as odd that they had EOL'd it until just now when I found that it was only around for a year. Lucky I saw it when I did; it was the last one on the shelf, too...

    Picked up Ayesha's Revenge and the Milano. Had to grab Ayesha, as she's one of many characters I'd never thought I'd see a toy of, let alone a Minifig.

    ^ And, my understanding is that it is just plain black, with no movie logo, just the old black case in a new packaging. Otherwise I would have bought two and add several minifigures from the sets.

    I'm doing my best to wait on my wantlist of this year's sets. Most are City or Friends, and I've learned that sales are particularly common on those themes. I ordered a small Friends set and 2 from other themes to help make an S@H order big enough for promos

    Wegmans had 30 Batman CMF bags left. I picked out 9 - 3 Lobster Lovin' Batman, Vacation Batman, Zodiac Master, 2 King Tut, March Harriet, Catman. I wanted the first three. I was looking for Glam Metal Batman and must've thought the scepter and machine gun were the guitar. I don't know how I ended up with Catman. The trials of learning to search a new CMF series...

    Another Wegmans had 2 bags left. Confident they're Red Hood and Commissioner Gordon, neither of which I want.

    @stlux i also had some fun on S@H with sale items plus good promos. #30546 and #30607 overlapped for a few days placed 2 orders with both
    What did you get the amusement park sets for? I sometimes see them 20% off and might be interested at bigger discounts

    @KingAlanI In the Lego city I plan to build in my future Lego room, I'll have a park/fairground area. #10247 Ferris Wheel and #10244 Fairground Mixer are nice large attractions, but the Friends Amusement Park sets are great for fleshing it out a bit.
    As with any fairground in real life, this ensures I'll have a colourful variation of attractions, appealing to different ages. I'll probably change some colours here and there. Will do the same to #76035 Jokerland.

    I've also got a fairground area in my city (not a lot else yet...), but #10244 which we've built over the weekend is taking up quite a bit more room than I anticipated :o

    @stlux Friends sets often go with 'regular LEGO' sets on the same topic. [Also, they're pretty varied realistic stuff compared to CITY's focus on police,fire, and other vehicles.] One of my first post dark age purchases was #41092 to combine with #10036 from my kid collection. #41311 and #60150 are both on my wantlist this year (I count #70910 - I've already ordered that).

    Just came back from TRU where I bought:
    - #75171 Battle on Scarif
    - #75168 Yoda's Jedi Starfighter
    Both at 20% off and not marked up. Paid with Gift Cards I got at 20% off from eBay, so 36% off at the end.

    Also went to my local LEGO store to get the last of the LEGO Batman Movie posters (Robin); bought #41588 The Joker BrickHeadz.

    #70605 Misfortune's Keep was waiting at my doorstep when I got home; got it 41% off.

    And just placed an order at S@H for #70912 Arkham Asylum using $50 on VIP points.

    Well, in worst case I'll end up with a large fairground with a small city around it, instead of a large city with a fairground ;)

    I know what I said, but I found reduced TLBM figures and grabbed all seven of them! At last, Fairy Batman and Kiss Batman (two of him, actually) are mine! Also got Not!Wolverine Batman, the pencil guy, Batgirl (dubious about the pink, but then again, the shimmery cape is lovely) and Dick Grayson.

    2 #41099 at Marshalls for $11.99
    wasn't sure how good a deal that was, but it seemed decent and I didn't have that minidoll or dog figurine. by the time I'm parting out the rest, I may as well get both. turns out to have been a not great part value, but okay when I want some parts myself, and not bad enough to take them back.

    Stopped at the Irvine Spectrum Barnes and Noble store today and #75171 Battle of Scarif had a price sticker of $19.95 (obviously a mistake). Took it to the register, it came up at $49.95 but they honored the sticker price. That's 60% savings!

    Now thinking about returning the one I bought a week ago from TRU at 36% off... or keep both for 48% off each?

     Queen Anne's Revenge #4195 on eBay, though with some doubts about the minifigures.
