So many to get. In the trailer one of the ones in his wardrobe is Comic Con Exclusive Batman, lol.

I'd like all of them I can get for my motorised wardrobe MOC. I think kids of all ages will enjoy it at shows, just going to be mainly the full set of CMF's first till the funds allow.
Comic Con Exclusive? Do you have a link? Also, I forgot about the Dimensions Minifigure. I also bet that the Blu-ray release will also contain an Exclusive Minifigure. I better start saving :)

Speaking of exclusives -  anyone have an idea if amc or any other movie theatres are having promos like they did with the lego movie?

I hope not but it wouldn't surprise me if that's how we get the battle pod, or the kiss kiss batman keychain.

At 1:16/1:17 when Robin tries on the Glam Bat outfit, on the far left next to Krampus Bat is a costume labelled Comic Con Exclusive.

@theLEGOman   I am curious about your motorised display.  Are you going to use the Batman head that comes with the figs, or change them to a white head like they used for the Batcave Break In costumes?  I hope you post pics, because I would enjoy seeing your motorised wardrobe.

Picked up Pink Batgirl, King Tut, Harley Quinn, Joker, Orca and Mime. Wasnt really looking for the Mime but thought it was something else. The only other one I really want is Fairy Batman but out of the two boxes they had there werent any that I could tell.

That is really great.  When you increased the speed, I thought for sure some would fly off!  I guess the minifig clutch is as good as ever.  Kids of all ages will enjoy that at shows.

Cheers. Yeah it goes pretty fast, sometimes they lean over abit at full speed, lol.

The good thing is as the batteries lose power you just put it up a notch to keep it going at a good speed.

    Hopefully people will enjoy it.

I might get a set of Batman Movie BrickHeadz to sit on top of it, or a Joker Lowrider.

Currently reduced to £2.39 in Boots.  And I have still resisted buying any!

After seeing The Batman Movie the other day, there are certainly more Batman costumes that could be made. Has anyone heard if there is going to be a Series 2? If they are going to release The Ultimate Batmobile a few months from now, there is certainly a chance there could be a Series 2.

I'd be afraid they might fatigue the market with all of the Batman variants.  As much as I'd like to see them, another collectible figure set with a bunch of Batman variants might get tiring.  I just don't know how many people actually want to own all of them.  New and different villians probably have a bit more appeal, which is why there weren't that many actual Batman costumes in the initial wave.

Having said that, I'd like nothing more than a Batman Beyond suit.

Given the way the DC Superheroes line is going I can imagine a Batman Beyond inspired set being released, a small part of me thinks that might be why the Batman Beyond suit didn't make the CMF cut. I don't mean that as they are working on one now, but they looked at the variants in the film and figured which could be made without adding parts they'd never be able to use again and would be least likely to appear in a set.

The realist in me doubts this notion but I think it's at least slightly plausible

I think a more likely reason is that, unlike the totally-original Batsuits chosen for the sets and CMFs, that one is explicitly based not only on a pre-existing Batsuit, but a pre-existing Batsuit normally associated with someone OTHER than Bruce Wayne. In the movie, it functions well enough as an easter egg given the context of the almost innumerable other suits and figures. But in a set or CMF series it would create confusion as to what Terry McGinnis was doing there alongside the other, more typical "modern day" Batman characters.

It's possible but that thought falls down a little when you consider all the characters that appear in the film - for the LEGO Batman Movie they have clearly created their own canon which draws on existing media rather than following it and worrying about the details.
I don't think a Batman Beyond suit is any more confusing than having a caveman Batman. If anything BB would be less confusing to kids as they may not know the BB story and not consider that it represents a different person.

Ultimately I suspect the real reason that the Beyond suit wasn't used in the CMF line is that it was too dull compared to some of the other choices and the only LBM set it could have been in was the Batcave set, where again it's a lot fuller (to a child's perspective at least) than the wacky suits they did choose.

Yesterday I picked up halve of the series, no need to pick up a whole set when I don't have any interest in the other characters.

    #71017-1 - Lobster-Lovin' Batman
    #71017-2 - Glam Metal Batman
    #71017-3 - Fairy Batman
#71017-4 - Clan of the Cave Batman
    #71017-5 - Vacation Batman
    #71017-7 - Commissioner Gorden
    #71017-8 - Arkham Asylum Joker
    #71017-9 - Dick Greyson
    #71017-12 - Eraser
    #71017-13 - Nurse Harley Quinn

On a side note I managed to also grab a #30607 - Disco Batman, Tears of Batman and #70900 - The Joker Balloon Escape, so now I own eight different Batman Minifigures based on The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) I just had a look on the main site and realised maybe it was a bad idea starting this collection...

Oh, speaking of this series, I recently got a full set of these that I had ordered from a friend who had bought a full box. Haven't opened them all yet (I'm spacing it out to give myself a little treat whenever I need a pick-me-up) but so far I've opened Dick Grayson, Red Hood, and Vacation Batman. Dick Grayson is, of course, adorable. And I really want to see the neck wear from Red Hood and Mr. Freeze reused on an updated Ogel fig to go with my CMF Spy in the future.

Vacation and Lobster seem to be the only ones selling noticeably above MSRP. Zodiac Master has an average price well above that but there are a lot of lower-priced listings.

I got a Nurse Harley Quinn for my hospital MOC and a Glam Metal Batman for my music collection, but those are the only two I'm interested in personally and none for army building.

My uncle, a huge KISS fan, said that overall Glam Metal Batman resembled Gene Simmons but the headgear looked like Ace Frehley. I had seen the KISS resemblance but don't know them well enough to tell that.

@KingAlanI, Gene Simmons is why I made sure I got a second Glam Metal Bat, just need the right hair piece & a custom printed head.

I'm too cheap for custom parts. :P
KISS Batman reminds me of how some pro wrestling fans said that S15 Wrestling Champion looked like Ultimate Warrior in particular

Not a wrestling fan, but even I was thinking Ultimate Warrior with the S15 Wrestler. Who knows, a future CMF series might have the right face to make a Gene Simmons minifig out of Glam Metal Bat. Starting to think there are a few Buck Rogers & Flash Gordon fans working on the CMF lines after a couple of the characters that have turned up.

    @VorpalRyu Would these heads do?
Not sure how much the postage would be to Australia but I remembered seeing these when I was getting the missus and me made into minifigs.

Ehhh... As I know KISS have IPs/Trademarks/Copyrights on their make-up/appearance, personally I'd be wanting authorised printed parts (even if by a third party printer).

This does bring something else up I have been pondering. While they don't look terrible, even as authorised prints I wouldn't be dying to get a hold of them. For some reason these, like most third party prints don't look as good as TLG print designs, it's like the metrics aren't quite there. Probably why I'm so reluctant to get the custom printing done that I have planned.
