My Lego status is content. Finally sorted all loose pieces from a lot I bought last year and entered them all at ReBrickable. Right around 15,000 pcs. Now I need to decide what to do with these partial set's that never sold? Integrate them into the collective? Finish them? Now I need to merge my loose parts with these and get it all entered in the database.

    Well, you're faster than I am ;)

I'm a little confused as what you mean by "finish them". I suggest keeping anything you want. If there's a lot of parts you don't like, sell them and get something you do like.

I've been debating nearly all week but I've finally made a decision. After experiencing The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) I've come to a conclusion that I'll be keeping #76052 - Batman Classic TV Series, Batcave that I purchased for £159.99 from Smyths. I'll happily have it as a replacement for The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) sets given how similar in concept they are and how many times that show is referenced in the movie.

For someone who has built a Mighty Micro interpretation of the Batman '66 Batmobile and owns a sealed #30603 - Mr. Freeze it's the right choice.

Next week I need to pick up #71017-9 - Dick Grayson for the Shark Repellent! Although I'll still be missing a shark therefore it's an excuse to also order #5003082 - Classic Pirate Minifigure which is missing from my retro promo collection too.

A guest brought my kids each a small Lego and my wife noticed the double Emma typo seen here in the second booklet from the Mia set.

Finish them as in complete the sets bc they are incomplete. Or I could go the alternative route and take them to the "melting room".

^^ @Legoboy - you missed the smiley off the end of your statement. All Lego looks good together - yep, including Duplo. :-)

My own status: over the weekend didn't get a chance to go out and watch TLBM with my gang (inconceivable!), so we kicked back with the original which just kinda appeared on Netflix :-). Was great to revisit and notice all the background detail again - such a well-made film, and so funny. Yes, I teared up at Benny's Spaceship moment, and when Emmet realised his true potential. I blame the soundtrack.

My other half almost made it to halfway this time before falling asleep - she's not too well right now...

@MaffyD I hope your wife's soon feeling better!

My three outstanding [email protected] parcels showed up this morning, so there has been a lot of happy fondling of Lego boxes. Common sense indicates that I ought to tidy up the Lego that's sitting out here before starting to build the Avenjet, so I will tear myself away from the forum anon...

(Thought: this Thanos bigfig looks amazing, but I suddenly wonder how you'd do Galactus... brick-built? Really, enormously, colossally brick-built?)

I caught the 'girly sets' Lego virus when I bought #41073
Bought some more 50% discounted Elves and Friends sets from [email protected] Those minidolls are very cute, and the sets definitely contain lots of useful and interesting parts.
Yes, I think they are very cool, and I am going to mix the hell out of them! ;-)

Sorry for giving you a heart attack @Legoboy

Does it make it better or worse if I tell you that's how the sets were positioned after my son played with them? Only the VW, that's not for playing and was just added to take the picture.

I love the fact that he enjoys SW as well as Elves, Batman as well as friends. I'm still not convinced about the minidolls, but they are growing on me. The sets are great though.

How can the one and only @Legoboy ; be opposed to mixing Lego or just declare certain Lego sets 'uncool'? Did your evil twin from the parallel universe just visit or what?

Lego sets are not for mixing. They are for assembling.

    Lego dolls = Playmobil.

I suppose this is a sort of fair comparison, insofar as there's never been anything fundamentally bad about Playmobil. There are some key differences between Playmobil figures and mini-dolls, though: Playmobil figures generally aren't as customizable, nor as detailed, nor designed to accompany a building toy.

And of course LEGO sets are for mixing. Surely there's been enough crossovers between themes in the LEGO magazines and movies at this point that you should be able to tell it's not off-limits. It's perfectly fine if you don't want to mix themes, but it's just as fine if other people do.

    @Aanchir ;
Nothing really is off-limits. If you want to mix fleshy and yellow (heads/hands/torso) minifigs, and mix in minidolls as well, in your diorama's, than who is to say you should not do so. Some may disapprove, but that is not the person's problem incorporating all those figures into his/her creations and/or play scenario (in case you are talking about kids role playing).
When I was a little kid I was sometimes like that kid from the animated film Toy Story, mixing Lego with Kenner Star Wars action figures, building vehicles out of lego for my star wars figs, or even just playing with: SW figures; He-Man dolls; and Lego minifigures, plush animals etc. etc. all at the same time inventing narratives and stories for the whole lot not caring about toy brand, or intellectual property.
Now the only thing I mind (personally) as an adult (and a limitation as such) is: whether it is genuine Lego. If it is not real Lego then i don't buy it, and don't want it to become part of my Lego collection.

LOL, I found this series at my local QFC grocery store in the manager's special section for 50% off. Unfortunately, I bought two :P (coming from someone who's never bought a girly Lego set in their entire life!)

Sitting on a "winterized" boat (no running water and only 1 small space heater), waiting to go to my first Lego Store adult mini-build.  My hubby graciously agreed to bring me for Valentines Day.  Lol my hands are too cold to build the 2 TLBM sets I brought with me.  What was I thinking?????  Oh well, hope to meet some fellow AFOL'S tonight.  :-)

It was a high and low over the last 48 hours. Yesterday someone posted a #9398 4x4 Crawler on a local sale site for $15...I just about fell out of my chair. They said the first person to get their got it. I was no more than 2 minutes away when I got the alert that it had sold. I sulked around the rest of the afternoon.

I rebounded quickly this morning when another lovely soul posted #75055 Imperial Star Destroyer for $30, used - but in amazing condition with a near mint box. Now, I don't have it in my hand yet, so I shouldn't be too optimistic. But they've already told me they're not taking any other offers and are saving it for me. *FINGERS CROSSED*

^Well, I just rechecked the listing. The price has jumped to $150. Either he is keeping people away by raising the price to a normal asking price, or he realized his error and I'm out of luck again. Figures.

After remembering how much I love Back to the Future, I got the Marty Dimensions pack to go along with my DeLorean. Just need the Doc pack now!

...And of course that lead me to wanting some other Dimensions packs, especially the Portal and Sonic ones so I can pair them with my Gamer CMF.

Not really a LEGO related status, but it could be! Suffered a devastating computer crash yesterday, apparently it was so badly damaged the only way to fix it was to erase the entire thing, including all the backups! So that's three years of stuff, musical compositions gone. :( But at least my LEGO Ideas projects are still on the site!

This afternoon I visited my god daughter and found myself watching TV with her.  Thus I experienced LEGO friends for the first and, hopefully, last time. Luckily we didn't suffer the whole thing - she was distracted by pudding.
