Dormammu enjoys him some Jango Fett.
In my defence, I'd been planning my own custom version of Medusa for a while, and when I saw two lower bodies with tails at a nice price I thought, "Imagine two of them, guarding the gates of some tomb..."
Then I went through the whole shop to see what else the seller had, and came away with four snake helmets for a future Conan the Barbarian MOC. For Thulsa Doom's followers, naturally.
And Jango was his name-o,
J-A-N-G-O,
J-A-N-G-O,
J-A-N-G-O,
And Jango was his name-o.
Oh, the other kind of Bingo. Oh well.
Jedi comin' and he wan' go home

ahh the S@H 50% sale.
at least i will now have more bricks for mocing, and a ready stash of gifts for kids birthdays. Or so I am telling myself.
They came with some paper - when bound together I think these are referred to as "books"?
What you have there are actually minifigure transportation devices. Minifigures may also come in small bags and sometimes larger boxes. The boxes typically also contain something called "bricks," but I haven't as of yet determined a use for them.
Years ago someone told me I couldn't buy 2 of the 4 Hobbit sets I found because they couldn't sell them until Dec. 1. It was Nov. 27 or 28 at the time. It first made no sense that I could buy 2, but not the other 2. Then when I said "you should take them off the shelf until Dec. 1 because people will try to buy them" the manager responded with "it gives us a head start by putting them out early. Then we don't have to do it when we can actually sell them." I calmly put the 2 I could buy down on the counter and said "I won't be taking these. I'm going to buy them from a place that doesn't make my brain hurt."
If they're "not in the system" then they don't exist. 'System is everything.' Put them in your pocket and see how quickly they don't exist as you approach the exit.
I got 4 #40206 Santa sets. They were on sale...so why not? I'll either make one giant Santa, or will sell the extras. Also picked up a couple each of the Lego Movie key chains.
Then yesterday I happened upon someone selling #75105 Millennium Falcon for $60, NIB. I jumped at it honestly for the resell appeal. Then, when I met up with the guy, it looked like a box @blogzilly would have received from his disgruntled delivery guy/Amazon warehouse packer. Apparently it fell in a puddle... but by the looks of it, it must have fallen off an airplane into a swimming pool. I talked him down to $50 as all of the bags were fully intact and now finally own the set! My son will be thrilled!

Anyway, Wegmans marked down the last of its clearance LEGO Sunday the 5th. Couldn't get any until the 6th - 3 #41142 $7.92, 2 #70318 $2.92, #70319 $7.92, 2 #75821 $3.92. All that was left at the Culver Ridge or Titus stores, nothing to pass on for not being marked down enough.
From the 99 Cents Store:
- #71206 Scooby-Doo got two for $1.00 each (I know, why not 99 cents??)
- #71203 Portal 2
- #71227 Krusty (I already had one, but you know, a dollar)
Walmart:- #75116 Finn for $10
- #76035 Jokerland $40
Felt good, made my crappy day less crappy. And an Ashoka minifig.
And a large box of ABS bricks to get that poly/minifig ;) Although I actually do like SW Rebels and this frigate, so that's a bonus.
Last week and this week purchases at the local LEGO store for the first 2 TLBM posters:
- #60150 Pizza Van + Harley Quinn poster
- #40237 Easter Egg Hunt + Batman poster
Got a second Batman poster as we visit Downtown Disney yesterday and decided to grab a small cup of PaB.
#75089 Geonosis Troopers from Barnes & Noble; decided to buy this after I start watching the Clone Wars series.
#70320 Aaron Fox's Aero-Striker V2 from Amazon; last of the knights' original vehicles I was missing.
Visit my local TRU today and got this:
#41176 The Secret Market Place - On back order at 50% off and for daughters' birthday in a couple of months. Fingers crossed.
#853544 LEGO NINJAGO Accessory Set - One of the two remaining items from the Skybound sub-theme that I need.
#7280 Straight & Crossroad - Additional requirement for my mini-LEGO City.
#31058 Mighty Dinosaurs - Just want it!
#30607 Disco Batman Tears of Batman - I'm not collecting any TLBM at the moment, but it's free! :-)
To be fair, once I'd used some VIP points, the whole lot came to only just under £40, so I'm quite happy with that. :-)
It was $29.99... Not 100% sure if it is RRP, but seems about right compared to similarly priced sets in Europe. Also, TRU marked up prices are usually odd numbers like $32.99 and the likes.
Yoda's fighter was $24.99.
