Tonight I purchased #79017 The Battle of Five Armies and #76039 Ant-Man Final Battle.  Not certain if I will keep them or trade/sell them, but I couldn't pass them up.  I was really surprised to see Ant-Man was sitting on the shelf at tru!  Gotta love inventory time. :-)

    ::facepalm:: I've been on Bricklink.

In my defence, I'd been planning my own custom version of Medusa for a while, and when I saw two lower bodies with tails at a nice price I thought, "Imagine two of them, guarding the gates of some tomb..."

Then I went through the whole shop to see what else the seller had, and came away with four snake helmets for a future Conan the Barbarian MOC. For Thulsa Doom's followers, naturally.

^ You are correct...sort of. Books were, in fact, made of paper centuries ago. But people were burdened by their weight. Some of these paper books exceeded one total pound in weight! I know, crazy, right? So long ago, it was decided books would no longer be made of paper and instead be made of plastic and computery chip type things. They have since looked like the following:

What you have there are actually minifigure transportation devices. Minifigures may also come in small bags and sometimes larger boxes. The boxes typically also contain something called "bricks," but I haven't as of yet determined a use for them.

Ahhh, trying to center myself after I almost, almost told a Target cashier off for not allowing me to purchase these gems that I found this morning. She said that there's no way to sell if something is not in the system, bummer big time.

"I won't be taking these. I'm going to buy them from a place that doesn't make my brain hurt."
That rules out K-Mart, Toys R Us, Target and Wal-Mart.  And Wegmans, Walgreens, Big Lots, Five Below... eBay, Amazon, CraigsList as well...

Got some random Lego related stuff:
    • The Scooby-Doo movie to complete the theme and get an extra #30601 poly.
    • The Star Wars magazine to get the Ghost poly. I already have the Microfighter #75127 version of the ship and #75053 The Ghost is currently making its way to me. I liked the idea of having 3 sizes of the ship :) (excluding the ComicCon exclusives - might need to BL those to get a 4th size)
    • The Star Wars dvd's because they are hilarious, especially with Darth Vader being treated like a small child by the emperor in the Empire Strikes Out and how they make fun of the prequels in Droid Tales.
    • Attack of the Legion of Doom! because Lego Batman = Best Batman. Only missing Cosmic Clash now from the Lego DC movies.
    • TLM because, well, why the hell did I not have this one yet?! Fear not though, I have already seen it multiple times. Go Lord Business!

Super thrilled to get my shipment from MFPlus with TLBM minifigures and a couple other sets I was looking for. Also picked up the book with the Caveman looking Bats, an Auto Transporter set loose and some Nexo Knights.

Just ordered the three interconnecting TLBM sets to get the free polybag. Forgot to add the accessory pack though. Hoping to get to a store soon so fingers crossed they're still in stock in a few weeks time

I left for a trip last week and returned home to a nice box of fun.

I got 4 #40206 Santa sets. They were on sale...so why not? I'll either make one giant Santa, or will sell the extras. Also picked up a couple each of the Lego Movie key chains.

Then yesterday I happened upon someone selling #75105 Millennium Falcon for $60, NIB. I jumped at it honestly for the resell appeal. Then, when I met up with the guy, it looked like a box @blogzilly would have received from his disgruntled delivery guy/Amazon warehouse packer. Apparently it fell in a puddle... but by the looks of it, it must have fallen off an airplane into a swimming pool. I talked him down to $50 as all of the bags were fully intact and now finally own the set! My son will be thrilled!

    What's that about?

    -

Anyway, Wegmans marked down the last of its clearance LEGO Sunday the 5th. Couldn't get any until the 6th -  3 #41142 $7.92, 2 #70318 $2.92, #70319 $7.92, 2 #75821 $3.92. All that was left at the Culver Ridge or Titus stores, nothing to pass on for not being marked down enough.

Rough day at work, went shopping for LEGO to feel a bit better, got the following:

    From the 99 Cents Store:
    • #71206 Scooby-Doo got two for $1.00 each (I know, why not 99 cents??)
    • #71203 Portal 2
    • #71227 Krusty (I already had one, but you know, a dollar)
    Walmart:
Felt good, made my crappy day less crappy.

Received my first Disco Batman/Tears of Batman poly today :)
    And an Ashoka minifig.

And a large box of ABS bricks to get that poly/minifig ;) Although I actually do like SW Rebels and this frigate, so that's a bonus.

I've just bought #30607  Disco Batman / Tears of Batman Poly off of UK eBay. £15 plus Postage. The intriguing thing is that the photograph of the poly used for the eBay listing appears to show a price label for £5.00 - Very strange given that this is meant to be a Lego store exclusive that's free with purchase over £50. It seems that a retailer/shop somewhere is selling them and at a great price.

Parents went back home today after a week visit. Here's an update of the past 7 days purchases:

Last week and this week purchases at the local LEGO store for the first 2 TLBM posters:
    - #60150 Pizza Van + Harley Quinn poster
    - #40237 Easter Egg Hunt + Batman poster
Got a second Batman poster as we visit Downtown Disney yesterday and decided to grab a small cup of PaB.

#75089 Geonosis Troopers from Barnes & Noble; decided to buy this after I start watching the Clone Wars series.

#70320 Aaron Fox's Aero-Striker V2 from Amazon; last of the knights' original vehicles I was missing.

Visit my local TRU today and got this:

After telling myself that I'd not buy any more LEGO this month, due to buying the Assembly Square at the weekend, I caved and picked up a few items from Shop@Home:

#41176 The Secret Market Place - On back order at 50% off and for daughters' birthday in a couple of months. Fingers crossed.
#853544 LEGO NINJAGO Accessory Set - One of the two remaining items from the Skybound sub-theme that I need.
#7280 Straight & Crossroad - Additional requirement for my mini-LEGO City.
#31058 Mighty Dinosaurs - Just want it!
#30607 Disco Batman Tears of Batman - I'm not collecting any TLBM at the moment, but it's free! :-)

To be fair, once I'd used some VIP points, the whole lot came to only just under £40, so I'm quite happy with that. :-)

@starwars4ever I was surprised to see it too; they also had #75168 Yoda's Jedi Starfighter. Both of them at RRP; another surprise as all TLBM and 2017 City sets are marked up.

@JooTog, what's the MSRP for the Phantom?

It was $29.99... Not 100% sure if it is RRP, but seems about right compared to similarly priced sets in Europe. Also, TRU marked up prices are usually odd numbers like $32.99 and the likes.

    Yoda's fighter was $24.99.
