Too bad there aren't any Star Wars ones. Maybe next wave?

    $10 or $15 each?
  • gmonkey76gmonkey76 Member Posts: 1,831
Hopefully I can resist the temptation to collect these.  Let's hope they stay under $20.
  • prevereprevere Member Posts: 2,923
I think these will be a perpetual clearance item. Although the decorated parts element might help preserve some value long-term.

I didn't forget anything, they're all in the main post. Maybe they didn't load for you?

A Lego Store Exclusive? Darn it, and of course the nearest Lego Store to me is in Chicago. :(

I imagine they base tiles with the updated numbers weren't available for the photos, or they simply re-used the Batman base for the photos.

They are going for the collect them all approach by numbering the boxes like that.

Lego is about 5 years too late to the Funko Pop party. I hope that Hulk looks better in real life.

I like them, although the Joker is a bit off, perhaps the Hulk too.

They are playing the collectible card again of course.

POP Funkos are a fantastic concept however the quality is very bad, maybe I'm just use to the high quality with LEGO. I simply don't purchase them at all, I'd love to own all of them if they looked like the product images, the execution of the paint and quality is poor.

Brick Headz will easily be a substitute for not getting the POP Funkos, I'm extremely happy this has become a thing and now I can start to replicate the style and build more characters.

I'd like to own majority of them besides #41586 - Batgirl and #41592 - The Hulk, then my head says why not get the two remaining when I'll likely own most of them. That would also mean I'd need to get the San Diego Comic Con 2016 ones too...

Honestly it will all come down to the pricing. The pieces range from 79 to 151. Therefore that could indicate retail prices between £9 - £15. I really hope they don't charge more than £11.99 for each Brick Headz. £9.99 would be perfect!

I love these, but as your resident 12 year old kawaii fan, I was bound to.  Plus one ish of these is likely in my monthly budget.

Is there a release date for them yet?

"February 15-28: VIPs get Early Access to a new Exclusive LEGO theme."

I'm guessing BrickHeadz will officially be launched in March and mid-Febuary for VIPs.

If it's around $10 - I may have to buy a bunch of Cap's for the dark blue parts.

I'm really disappointed by the lack of a Hawkeye. Wish they would have done him over Hulk and Widow

The inevitable Spiderman, Thor, and Maybe Ant-Man. Hulk would make sense with Thor. I'm hoping for that Hawkeye now though.

When I first read about Brickheadz I thought yes nice but no thanks.

Then i I found myself keep going back to the pictures at the top of this thread.. And thinking they are ok, and will make a nice collection.. DC, Marvel, Lego Batman Movie, Disney..

Now I have gone in fully and procured:
    #41490
    #41491
    #41492
    #41493

And am looking forward to the release of the theme! Bring on the collection..

I was reading an article today suggesting that as well as the 8 listed here and the beauty and the beast ones, there will be two others in the initial release that as yet have not been revelled. Any ideas what they might be?

Reminder that we've had a Flickr group for Brickheadz MOCs since the original SDCC announcement... and we've already got over 240 images on there.

Something tells me that Brickheadz are gonna be quite popular.

I sure hope no big sites have a contest anytime soon, as you can see in that group I've already used all my good ideas :P

Didn't know there were so many on the Flickr group. I had suggested a contest for doing a real life person. I'd like to see @Huw and the rest of the Brickset staff as BrickHeadz!

The new BrickHeadz look great, but I do hope that we see some representing non-licensed themes in the future. The BrickHeadz VR app for Google Daydream does have some interesting generic characters, including a girl who resembles the original version of Nya from LEGO Ninjago. More stuff like that could be fun.

I do anticipate a few figures based on The LEGO Ninjago Movie when that comes out, in the very least.

Very happy to see the price set to £9.99. That will make them affordable to me :D

YAY!  £10.  That's great; this might be my first theme where I collect them all (not including CMFs).
