Saw too many to even list, anywhere from 30-60% off: Ninjago, Nexo, Angry Birds, Star Wars, Superheroes (the Ra's Al Gul set was $15, Iron Sub was $11), Creator, and City...almost all from the first part of 2016.
This was central va.
The Bay Area rarely sees clearances. 99 cents off is the nearby WM's idea of clearance.
If anyone can obtain a Ra's Al Ghul set for $15, please let me know! Especially if you see it around the Cincinnati area.
Thanks man! 3 more for me.
The SW bacon factory #75139 was down to $38, but still cheaper at Target.com
BACON!
- #60110 Fire Station at $49
- #10720 Police Helicopter Chase $7
- #41112 Party Cakes at $3.84
They also had some Elves and Friends sets (which I wanted to get, but, priorities, my city needs a fire department) on sale at about 50% off too. I'll visit all the other stores and see if I can get any more stuff before the end of the year.Only the first store I visited had a decent number of sets on 'clearance' but at 'sale' prices; for example, the Resistance Transport at $45, which might be a good deal but when some of us got it for $35 it's not as appealing. Some other SW sets, but again, with no more than 40% off on average.
The oddest find (you can see my pick on the buying thread) was at the last Walmart I visited (second closest to me, last one I visited on my way home) in which I found a few polybags that I had not seen anywhere else here in the area I live (#30349, #30424) and they had some that I had seen at Target and TRU (#30346, #30399).
What is consistent with almost all stores, is the fact that most (at least the cheaper sets) of the LEGO products are gone and that the aisles have not been restocked.
Did go by my local Walmart to pick up my base plate order and was reminded as to why I dislike going to Walmart. A few friends sets on on 'clearance', but only by a few bucks. At least I managed my way through the directionless masses and picked up my order.
