    If you really want the #10654 XL Creative Brick Box, TRU has an online coupon today for $10 off $100 (assuming you already spent your other similar coupons).  Enter 10DOLLARS at checkout.  I just ordered 2 of the XL sets for $49 each and a #40228 Geoffery which essentially became free.

    ^ if my math is correct, and assuming you have a store near by, you can visit the store twice, buy a #10654 each time and get an free #40228. At the end you spend 1c more and have two Geoffrey instead of one :-)

    TRU is having a crazy 40% off sale on 100 sets online now. See banner on their main page. Volvo Front loader $150, Mixer $89. Sandcrawler was $180, gone now. Many other retiring soon or sold out at SAH sets included. Go now. Getting eat up at brickpicker.

    So is the mixer. I told you, brickpicker is decimiating this sale. TRU has "limit" but you just keep placing multiple orders. I don't expect the really desirable stuff to last past 9am.

    Was especially happy to find the Speed Champions on sale, the old sets are becoming harder to find, even at regular price.

    @dspigel  Many of the deals are still available....get ordering :-)  We can all build our lego together in the poor house.

    I just placed my order.  Seeing Dr. Who on sale at TRU was really surprising to me...just wish my budget wasn't already in the red .. :-(

    Keep an eye on Amazon as well. I wonder if that is why some sets are at a good price, like Changing seasons. Disappointing about missing the mixer. At that price it is awesome deal.

    Still some hidden gems left IMO. Im a bit surprised the Hulkbuster sets are still around at 19.79. Demolition Set was there at 56.99, but sold out as I was checking out, but Amazon was price matching so I grabbed those from Amazon.

    Grabbed #75918 T-Rex Tracker and #70325 Infernox Captures the Queen. Went to the store so I could get the free Geoffrey.

    I was going to get the three NK Ultimate on sale, but there were marked up at the store, so I just placed a pick up order online.

    I just wish that TRU would actually enforce their limits, otherwise why bother? Amazon has shown that is can be done.

    Had two Dr Who sets cancelled because they were out of stock, though it didn't indicate that they were OOS online.

    Sorry to derail the thread a bit, but as much as I hate profit takers, the retailer is to blame as much, if not more, for this. If the retail site would just enforce their supposed limits, this would not occur (or occur much less frequently).  Amazon has no issue doing this. Some have gotten caught trying to buy more than allowed, and they were banned (I believe the orders were cancelled as well). If a retailer is putting a limit to buy something they should be strictly enforcing that limit, period. Cancel the other orders and warn the buyer, or cancel all orders and flat out ban them, and that would help ensure that everyone has a better chance at such a deal. Could folks still finds ways around that? I'm sure, but it would be more difficult for them which means they would likely be available at that price longer during the sale and not seeing a sale that is supposed to last 2 days last 1 hour.

    Mercifully Amazon price matched some of these sets, same with Walmart I think. But no one has matched the Mixer price sadly.

    Ohh, thats right.. I think I may be confusing it with the Sandcrawler was not available at that price (or if it was at Walmart at that price it was not there long)

    I don't think anyone price matched the Sandcrawler at $180 while it was in stock. Of course, when WalMart had the mixer for $93 it wasn't in stock at TRU either. So, moral of the story is keep an eye on the sites. Prices could drop again. I think retailers are trying to clear out large sets to make room for the approximately 1million new sets LEGO seems to be introducing each year.

    Noticed something interesting tonight on kmart.com.  I have some free points to use, and as I checked out what was available, I came across the tru exclusive geoffrey and friends.  lol I thought I was on the wrong site, but when I checked further it showed as shipped  by toysrus.  There were other items, even a few dimensions which kmart does not sell.  Has anyone else seen this on kmart.com?

    Weird, but not surprising, Sears is about to tank so I'm sure they are looking for any way to generate revenue.

    I think you can use Kmart gift cards though that way, which is intereating as those can frequently be found discounted.

    Sears/Kmart has a market site much like Walmart, so not too surprised, TRU must list items on their market.

    BTW, Kmart has had some of the best deal going from time to time, especially on Friends items.  Last week they had all amusement set 40% off, except for roller coaster, and cleared out the Grand Hotel for $65.

    Tru cancelled my Doctor Who order today, but they refuse to credit my charge card.  They put the money back on the gift cards that expire on Dec 24th.  I received the other items on the order, and every one has damage to the boxes.  One is totally crushed.  I think this is it for me with Tru, after a lot of other problems I have had with them in the past several months.

    Mine was cancelled too, even though the status prior to that said it was in the warehouse.  TRU and Lego S@H have terrible inventory systems.

    Ordered a LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack for PS4, Harry Potter team pack and Adventure Time team pack. Received two Harry Potter starter packs and a Ninjago team pack. They fixed it ASAP and let me keep the two extra sets, but what a mess!

    I have yet to receive a cancellation notice on my Dr. Who set, but I am not holding out hope that it will actually ship. Bummer too since amazon ended up matching the price.

    So now I just got a shipment notification, but they never emailed me to even confirm anything with me. Not even a "hey sorry, we are looking into it"

    Guess I will see how this works out...
